Purchased an open box in excellent condition for an amazing price. Traded in my MacBook for an additional $550. Highly recommend this computer. I am a grad student and it handles 25 open tabs really well. Easy to read course texts on. Very fast, (did disable some of the initial software like xBox).

The machine is very fast. It performs better than the new 2024 model with the core Ultra 7 155H. Read and write speeds of the SSD is 6000 and 4000MB/s respectively. Screen is flawless and it doesn’t get very hot as with other models. Benchmark is comparable to an M2 MacBook Air

Amazing Laptop for Sure - Battery Needs Work

Should you buy this laptop, yes you should in short. The 13700H and integrated graphics are enough to carry you through a lot of productivity tasks like Salesforce, Office 365, and light video editing for social media campaigns. The negative is the video I edited ate around 20-30% of my battery and you are going to be running in the 60Hz refresh mode and balanced power setting to get you to a 6-8 hour battery life. It helps that you can throw this laptop on the charger during your hour lunch break and get a lot of the battery back though so if you happen to be near a charger then this con might now be such a big deal. My experience with this laptop has been so positive that I am now shopping my M2 MacBook Pro 14" (never loved the OS but the hardware is legendary) and use this as my daily driver in addition to stepping into the i9/32GB/1TB model with the RTX 3050 4GB on BB's website.

I love my Zenbook 14x. I7-13700H has quick wit. I only wish i could upgrade the ram & graphics but for a Ultrabook especially in this price range its expectedto be soldered. I truly recommend this for anyone not needing a 2 in 1. Its quick, it functions well with workload & even gaming. The oled screen is also primo! BIG BANG for your buck! I returned my Lenovo Yoga for this (same price at the time) & glad I did!

I've had this computer for about 1 month and so far I like it. Use case is streaming, heavy web browsing (15-30 chrome tabs, music listening, web conferencing, and MSFT Office. I have it plugged into a USB 3.2 port replicator running dual monitors. Also plugged in are a Logitech camera, mouse, keyboard, Anker USB dock. All function well and recognize quickly when I plug in. I also use it with my Brother wireless printer and Sony Bluetooth headphones. The computer also found each quickly which is saying something because Brother's software looks like it is from 1990. It is replacing a 4-5yr old HP 15in Spectre tablet that I spent around $1K for. That one had battery swelling issues in the first year and in the last year blue screens and auto restarts. Needless to say I was due for a new one and when this one dropped in price I jumped on it based on the reviews. I got the zenbook on sale for around $700 pretax. This is my first Asus so I didn't not know what to expect. It came with less bloatware than the HP so I had less to uninstall. The computer runs quick for what I use it for above. It does get a little hot when I do use it on my lap, but it is not too bad. I wish it had another USB-A port because many of my peripherals are not of the C variety yet. There are two C ports on the right one of which is for power. I can't blame them for only having one A though-some like Dell don't have any. Size and weight are good for a 14.5inch. The hinge seems strong and build quality seems good. The touch screen, when I use it could be a bit more responsive and I do see some of the white fuzz some have referenced but I don't mind it too much especially considering I use monitors. Battery life is about 6hrs depending on what I am using it for. Those are my basic estimates. The touchpad is responsive and the built-in numpad is a nice add-in but does not replace a normal numpad if you do a lot of number crunching. Keyboard is nice size and has nice feel. Overall I think it is a good purchase for $700 at the one month point.

I bought this version of the Zenbook 14x after I bought the I5 version of the laptop and found it ran Linux right out of the box without any fiddling. (This does not happen often.) This I7 version is very similar to the I5 version except that it flies through tasks and still has decent batter life. Even in Linux. When it is on sale, like when I bought it. It is a stell.

    Stunning Display and A Powerhouse

This laptop is worth every penny. I mainly use it for school work and media consumption, and it does an amazing job. This is by far the best laptop I have ever owned. The processer is powerful and even keeps up with some 3d rendering in blender. The battery life on my unit feels a little lack luster compared to others experiences but, for the most part, a full charge will last till the end of the day. But the star of the show is the display. The high resolution, vibrant colors, and 120Hz refresh rate paired with OLED technology gives the display inky blacks and incredible contrast is just eye candy for someone who loves consuming 4k content. I have only had one issue with this laptop where every time I turn it off, my refresh rate is reset from 120Hz to 60Hz. It is annoying to have to go back into the settings to change it every time but I'm not doing any gaming so I've learned to live with it. All in all, if you are looking for a powerful laptop, with great battery life, and gorgeous display, the Zenbook 14X blows everything out of the water in its price bracket.

Purchased when it was on sale. Great value for the specs! Runs Windows 11 and Linux smoothly and fast. Display is fantastic (crisp and bright). The keyboard and trackpad are decent to use (no flex). Solid metal build. Top left side can get warm, but fan is whisper quiet under moderate loads. Battery life is OK. Perhaps the only downside is the memory is not upgradable.

I've mostly used it for 3d printing, vector graphics and some light gaming. Not the fastest, but very good performance at the price point and the screen is much better than competing models I checked out. The problems with the sound stem from the side facing speakers. Most of the high frequencies are projected away from the user making sound muffled and muddy. Luckily I mainly use headphones, but it's an annoying design choice.

Amazing laptop! Have great specs, sound, keyboard touch screen! The speed is good for all tasks and even for light gaming I’m very glad to but it and recommended if you’re looking for a reliable laptop for business or daily use because have great battery, so no need to be plug in constantly, lasting around 7 hours or more before next charge.

Great laptop. Built durable imo. Super fast. Fan is quiet. Perfect for me. Would like to upgrade to one with a bigger screen one day but this screen size is perfect for on the go and in my truck. Battery life is pretty decent. Super good screen glare is not that bad.

I dont even know where to begin... This is a piece of art! The build quality is super strong as is the keyboard when typing, very satisfying. It doesnt have a dedicated graphics chip on-board but i knew that. Its still very powerful and great battery. The screen? BEST IVE EVER USED, even compared to my Samsung S22 Ultra! Highly recommend this laptop.

Amazing computer with a great screen. Very fast and responsive. Stylish and durable aluminum case. Coming from a 7 year old MacBook Air this thing is an awesome upgrade. Love windows for its easy if use ability over iOS. If you can pick it up on sale it’s a steal! I believe it could have a better battery life. That would be me it an all around amazing machine.

I have worked with multiple laptops but usually all through my work company. The first laptop I bought was for someone else, so when I chose to buy my first very own laptop, i am so glad I chose Asus. This laptop is so smooth and fluid. The display, the resolution, graphics and the touchscreen is exceptional. The overall feel when jumping between different screens and apps is next level. The speakers, connectivity to different devices is yet another bonus that I love. The battery life is something I am very picky about given I'm always moving between rooms and hate carrying or keeping chargers in every room and this laptop doesn't disappoint. Even when on it for several hours a day the battery lasts for over 6 hours. For the price point this laptop is exactly what I needed. If you are considering this as your next laptop, dont look any further.
