Good laptop spec wise, but the edges are too sharp. When I place my hands to use the touchpad it is too uncomfortable, a major design flaw in my opinion.

This is a great PC in a small but powerful package. It boasts the latest DDR5 memory and an Intel Evo 13th Generation Core i7 (13700H), a 512GB SSD for storage, and supports the latest WiFi6E(802.11ax) standard. It also has an OLED touch screen. It is not a 2-in-1, so you don't get a "tablet mode", but I never use that feature anyway. The 180 degree hinge does allow the laptop to lay completely flat. It weighs in around 3.5 lbs. For connectivity, you have 2 USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 ports, a single USB-A port, an HDMI port, and a headphone jack. It has a very good built in camera that works well with Windows Hello for fast login.
The first thing I noticed was it seems very well made and doesn't seem cheap or flimsy. The OLED display is very good and very vibrant. A cool feature that I noticed was that although it doesn't have a separate numeric keypad, the touch pad has a cool backlit number keypad that you can activate with a touch. The built in speakers have very good sound quality, given the standard limitations of speakers in a laptop.
Using Office applications like Outlook, Word, and Excel is very fast with the combination of processor speed, RAM, and the SSD. All loaded very quickly with no waiting. Also, web browsing is fast, as expected. I can't verify the performance of the WiFi 6E capabilities as I only have WiFi 5 at home. The integrated graphics are good enough for light gaming if you need that as well. I really liked the smaller form factor of 14.5" which is perfect for my daughter who's going away to college in the fall. For the price, I think this is a great laptop that should last her a while and meet all of her needs.
If I had a complaint or two
1) When playing a game or any intensive activity, the fan seemed a bit loud as the computer heated up. I later found a setting that allowed me to make the fan quieter so we'll see how that goes.
2) While it does have 16GB of RAM, there doesn't appear to be a way to upgrade that as what I can find in my research indicates that it is soldered to the MB. Be aware if that matters to you.
All in all, this seems to be a really nice laptop in a nice sized package.

This laptop was fine at first. It ran well, looked decent, and seemed like a solid buy. But just a year and a half in, the speakers failed completely. No damage, no misuse, just poor hardware.
You’d expect better from ASUS. A brand with this kind of reputation shouldn’t be shipping devices that break down this fast. If something as basic as the speakers can’t last two years, it makes you question the overall build quality.
Bottom line: decent performance doesn’t make up for terrible reliability. I wouldn’t buy this again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else.

I've had my laptop for 1 year and 7 months and while working on a project it just died on me. I gave it a couple of days and tried to charge it and it wouldn't even charge. I feel like I got a defective laptop be cause how does this happen when I only use it 2-3 times a week? I only had a 1 year warranty and in order to fix it I have to pay $350. Unacceptable!

Beautiful but sucks up the juice. If you’re not relying on battery power all day this is a fantastic display. That also leads to not great battery life. Not bad just not as good as others. It’s the screen.
