Great little laptopPosted
It is an extremely well designed and well built laptop. Go for silver if you don't need that much computing power or go for the blue if you need more computing power.

Elegant and Powerful ASUS ZenBook 3 Ultra-PortablePosted
This new 12.5-Inch ASUS ZenBook 3 UX390UA model features an elegant and sophisticated Silver Gray design, with the iconic ASUS logo surrounded by spun-metal concentric circles, ultra-thin (0.47-inch) and ultra-light (2-pound) anodized aluminum unibody construction, and a very bright, crisp, and vibrant 1920x1080p Full-HD IPS display. It is powered by the blazing-fast seventh-generation 2.5GHz Intel Core i5-7200U processor, which delivers a ten to fifteen percent increase in overall power and performance, compared to the previous-generation Intel Skylake Core i5-6200U processor, along with a substantial enhancement in its 4K video transcoding and playback capability. It consistently achieves Octane benchmark scores that are in excess of the extraordinary 30,000 level. The combination of 8GB of system memory, a very speedy 256GB solid state drive, and this seventh-generation Intel Kaby Lake processor makes for a decidedly powerful and capable system. It readily handles mainstream day-to-day computing activities, as well as extremely high levels of multitasking, easily maintaining strong performance with multiple open browser tabs. In addition, it delivers nearly instantaneous loading of webpages, along with exceedingly fast and fluid scrolling and navigation on content-rich and graphics-heavy websites. As a result of the increased power efficiency provided by this seventh-generation Intel Kaby Lake processor optimization, approximately eight hours of battery life and run time can be achieved for combined productivity and entertainment endeavors. Of course, as would be expected in such a thin device, equipped with such a powerful processor, heat dissipation is challenging, and it runs warm under load, with resultant fan activation. Also, as would be expected in such a thin device, the 0.8-millimeter key travel is shallow, without much tactile feedback, and there is only space for one USB Type-C connectivity port. However, the necessity for a USB-C Digital AV Multiport adapter is a relatively minor inconvenience, and ASUS includes this adapter with its higher-end Royal Blue version of the ZenBook 3 computer, equipped with the Intel Core i7-7500U processor. With regard to my personal computing preferences and requirements, this new 12.5-Inch ASUS ZenBook 3 model is definitely a five-star device, because its shallow and non-tactile keyboard, and its inclusion of only a single USB Type-C connectivity port, do not adversely affect my usage pattern and work flow. In addition, prospective buyers of this type of ultra-portable notebook computer have probably already prioritized its ultra-thin and ultra-light construction, and its exceedingly smooth portability, over characteristics such as key travel and the number of connectivity ports. The purchase decision for any notebook computer is highly subjective, and it is essentially a judgement call, that will ultimately be determined by the preferences and requirements of the individual user, in relation to the essential features, characteristics, and components of the device itself.
