I snagged this 2 in 1 on sale and couldn’t be more pleased with it’s performance! All the YouTube reviewers were dead on accurate about it’s speed and features. As of now it’s just as smooth and fast as the M1 MacBook. Best of all it will run the resource hungry Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 without any glitches! Rugged aluminum construction with the battery that is as close to the federal airline limit in size makes for a robust true wireless experience. My only wish is that it had at least one more full size USB port to go along with the existing Thunderbolt and one full size USB ports. Another plus the the size of the power supply. It is no bigger than three large screen cell phones stacked up. Much smaller than my previous laptop’s brick sized supply!

Excellent Laptop. Average User with Corel Added

Please understand that I am not a Geek. I'm nothing more than an average individual who uses a laptop to review emails, check out local and world news, Facebook to catch up on relatives, online shopping, and to play 4-player Mah Jongg. I do have an extensive collection of digital photographs stored separately. Corel photo processing is downloaded. This Laptop boots up remarkably fast; seven seconds on average. Lighted keyboard which is a must. This laptop represents the new trend to eliminate USB ports in favor of the C-ports. It has one USB port occupied by my wireless mouse adaptor. The two C-ports require adaptors for "older" USB attachments. Two major selling points were a more robust charging pin. This ASUS still uses a pin charger and not a C-port style. The pin on my Acer was weak and eventually broke prompting this purchase. Another selling point was a direct SDHC Card port. I can remove the card from my camera and insert directly into the laptop without adaptor. Many new laptops have done away with any card reader. Laptop comes with Windows 10 although mine is running Windows 11. I believe it uploaded 11 when I first booted up. The default Browser is Edge which I'm getting accustomed to. Same with "Bing" although I still verbally say "Google it". Two Negative aspects. The hinges have sharp uncomfortable edges. When used as a "laptop" and not a "flip book", the hinges bite into the legs. I have the laptop sitting on my CaseLogic case. Also, the Power Button is flush with the frame. It takes a moment to locate it when turning on the system. This does prevent accidental shutoff. My quantity of photographs (200,400+) would overwhelm the memory. I have a separate external San Disk 2TB drive. This system easily accesses the photographs on demand. Corel is my photo processing software, and this laptop runs the package smoother and quicker than my old Acer. As an average user I do recommend this laptop. Climbing the learning curve on Windows 11 is a must. The laptop does all required. I'm sure it can be customized to do more.

    Nice Laptop

Nice laptop at a pretty good price considering the supply chain challenge today. Feels well made, touch screen is nice, keyboard and touch pad are excellent for me. It is not as light as some laptops, but for me, weight is not worth the price as laptops are small devices easily carried, and It gets moved than sat down or carried in a pack/bag. I also appreciate it has a USB port. Laptops are starting to remove this, but I don't want to purchase new peripherals. The flip is a feature I like and utilize. Certainly not a requirement, but I find it convenient. Performance wise - its in line with the spec's. I got the performance I paid for. Overall, if this laptop is the size you want, I recommend you add it to your list of laptops to check out. Reason not five stars - like most things today, it is over priced. Not by a lot in my opinion, but business excuses aside, it's still a bit high for what it is.

The computer is fast, good display, love the touch screen, and keyboard. Have not tried running games yet. The case is very rugged and the SSD drive should be more reliable than a hard drive. Happy with the quality and performance.

I bought this computer for my photo editing using PScc, LRcc, and Luminar AI and it has been proving to handle my needs. I also purchase a Bamboo stylus and it works great with the touch screen with editing right on the screen. Also enjoy the flip feature. It is on the heavier side for a laptop but not unmanageable. Battery lasts several hours before needed plugged in. It works well with a second monitor via hdmi. Also works well with the Crucial x8 external hd through the thunderbolt input. Overall I am happy with this laptop. It is fast and handles all my needs. The screen is very sharp and clear.

Great laptop so far - sturdy build quality, fast processing, elegant looks, beautiful display. The fans can be a bit loud under stress, and it can get hot while gaming. It is not meant to be a gaming laptop though.

I've had this computer for over 2 years no problems. From work to games it work flawlessly. I am a fan of Asus computers. For years they've made great quality laptops and desktops. It's not as popular as Dell and HP but I believe it made just as good or better. They only get credit for gaming computers but they're good and everything.

This computer was awesome for the short amount of time I had it. It was fast and light weight however, if you are on the go with it a lot, it may not be suitable for you because it isn’t very durable.

I've been using this laptop for about 2 weeks now, and I really like it a lot. Most of the specs appear and/or function exactly as advertised: 1. The 300-nit/100% sRGB/Pantone-validated screen is sharp, decently bright, with very vivid colors. 2. The Core i7-1165G processor/16 GB RAM combo is blazingly fast 3. The aluminum-magnesium case (top and bottom) is sturdy, very well-built, high "U.S. Military Grade" as ASUS claims. 4. Very quite operation. I have yet to hear any fan noise at all. 5. I really love the facial scan function, which works very fast and flawlessly. 6. HUGE 6-cell/92 WHr battery. ASUS says it lasts up to 12 hrs, but I've been consistently getting about 8.5 hours from mixed use, which is still very impressive for a 15.6" screen. There are a few small things that I wish they were better, at least for me: 1. A smaller and lighter adapter/charger. The one that comes with the laptop is HUGE and rather heavy. It's almost twice the size and the weight of my older Dell charger. But thanks to the longer battery life, I don't have to haul it around very often :-) 2. A brighter light on the back of the key board. Despite having 3 stages, the letters, numbers, and especially the symbols on the keyboard are not very brightly lit. Or maybe the light is pretty bright but the spaces through which the light shines are too narrow or small. I sometimes cannot tell if the Cap Lock light is on or off because that little dot is so tiny and I can hardly tell if the "on" light is on or not. These are just small "negative" things that can easily be outweighed by all the great qualities that this laptop has, and they should not any way prevent anyone from buying and enjoying the laptop.

I love this laptop, though I have only a couple of minor complaints. The screen resolution is great. It is sturdy...I think I have dropped it a couple of times and there were no damages, so I appreciate that. In that same vein, the laptop is as heavy as it is sturdy. My only real complaint is the speaker system; Even when the volume is at 100%, it's difficult to hear when there is background noise. Otherwise, I love my laptop, the large screen, and the reliability it has shown me thus far. Thank you Asus and BestBuy for the great laptop.

This is our second ASUS laptop and I have nothing but great things to say. It is used for a combination of personal use, school work, and video watching. The display is great for movies with no glitches or delays. The computer is super fast for all of my computing needs. The touch screen is very responsive and great for note taking or drawing. Although it seems to be on the pricy end, I highly recommend this laptop.

I wanted something fast and capable of playing games without paying "gaming laptop price and this fits the bill easily. Sturdy aluminum construction, i7, plenty of RAM and a graphics card, while not top of the line, is more than adequate for most of what you'd ever want to play. Screen is sharp and vibrant and you can snap to multiple apps and tabs quickly after almost instant-on. Best laptop for gaming I've ever owned for hundreds less than a gaming laptop.

So far so good. This was a Christmas present for a kid and it is a power house for all his engineering software and apps. It’s great and the display is pretty sharp. We went with the 1440p versions if you Bo more graphic design I would go with the OLED screen version. Other than that this thing is a light weight beast.

I bought this for a work and casual play machine. I needed to be able to freehand on PDF's for work, It was a great compromise and I caught it on a daily deal, so got a great price. The graphics card let's you run most games and the prcoessor is plenty fast. The HD is a bit small, and it's not a large amount of RAM. For basic work it's great though. For moderate gaming it's good too. Get's a little warm, but what laptop doesn't.

Needed a non-Apple product for work! I went in to the Farmington store and had the pleasure of working with Jared! He was so knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He was able to make several recommendations, and then help me make the best choice for my needs! I love the touch screen and the affordability of ASUS. I got a fantastic processor and enough Ram to last me for awhile. Thrilled with my choice.

Great laptop, fast, light, versatile with the 2-in-1, good battery life. Still hate the touchpad, so most of the time I'm usually utilizing the touchscreen. Wish it had built in Ethernet jack, but a $15 USB to Ethernet jack works fine, just something else to keep track of.
