Customers commend the ZenBook Flip 15 for its responsive touchscreen, impressive performance, and solid build quality. Many also praise the long battery life and lightweight design, making it portable and convenient. However, some users express dissatisfaction with the limited number of USB ports and the sound quality of the speakers. A few customers also note that the laptop can get warm under heavy use.

I love this laptop, it is durable and very nice all around, the keyboard keys leak light, but other than that its really nice fast and the battery lasts the entire day. I have coded for VEX Worlds with it, to JUMS, to everyday high school work. I have had it an entire year!!! By the way its not as bright as it should've been made.

As a Mac user, I’m absolutely in love with this PC. I grew up with PCs but have since moved away from them. Now as a college student close to making the switch to the workforce I’ve come full circle; back to home base. So much more freedom/mobility with a speedy processor and tons of space; not to mention its touch screen, flip-able, and a great price range for what it offers. This particular computer suits my needs just fine, and will most likely work for anyone working with documents and files and perhaps some light gaming on the side. I’m still exploring all its features and have yet to find something I don’t like, hopefully nothing major. Overall it’s definitely more accessibility for the not-so-tech intellectual, I’ve had little trouble familiarizing myself with the keys and other functions, even so there’s always google! But it’s definitely not as encrypted as Mac.

The best laptop I could find for the specs and price. 16 gb ram, 512 gb ssd and a stand alone 4gb video card all for under 1k. I got mine on sale for $799 but even at 1k it is better than the equivalent specs (samsung 17 inch) for $1350. This one is so quiet, I dont hear the fans at all. The samsung was noticeably loud when cooling. The looks and feel of this laptop are great as well. Very well made and very comfortable to use. One quark is when typing, my right palm touches the touch pad but it has a button to toggle it on and off. So it isnt really a big deal. I saw where some people had an issue with the zero on the number pad being to the left of where it normally is but i havent had an issue. This laptop plus the totaltech membership is 100% worth every penny. Even at full price I would have purchaesed this one.

This is a terrific laptop for the price. I purchase a "certified excellent" open box for less than $900. I was a little skeptical about an open box but it seems to be great. I believe that a USB adapter was to be included and it wasn't in the box but I could be wrong.
I'm a heavy Adobe PS and LR multitasker and it works great. I was looking at the Dell XPS 9500 15 and got tired of waiting on Dell to deliver so I got this. The Asus ZenBook Flip does not have upgradable ram and its processor is slower but with an i7 11th Gen processor and 16GB ram, it does the job just fine. The display is an awesome full HD with 100% sRGB color gamut. No complaints on battery life at this point. I've been getting about 8 hours with average usage, no PS or LR.
The few downsides is a small numbers keypad but at least it has one if you are looking for that. There is only 1qty USB 3.2 Gen 1 and 2qty Thunderbolt 4 USB C's. Wish there was another port or two and an ethernet port.
Overall, very good laptop. Would recommend.

This laptop has a high quality build to it. It's blazing fast and the touch screen tracking is really good and the touch feel is amazing. Highly recommended this laptop to people who want a 2 in 1. i7 core laptop that flips its screen and turns into a tablet.

Very fast. Latest i7 processor. Screen looks beautiful. Memory is enough for my needs. I have disabled the touch screen feature and the touch pad for now, as that's something I don't need. I can always activate it again. I bought it on sale, but I think the regular price is still fair for this laptop.

It is fast, keyboard backlighting design better than silver, speaker volume low for seniors, concerned so many reviews on overheating when vents are on the bottom. It's a laptop, where else would user place it? Asus Help site complex. Screen images pop. Only one usb port, 2 Thunderbolt. Power switch small. Haven't used the 2/1 feature yet. A little heavy, but sturdy.

I bought this to replace a Lenovo laptop I purchased a couple of years ago. It was getting a little to old and with remote work being my main Avenue of working, I decided I needed an upgrade. This machine is indeed an upgrade for me and it certainly exceeded my expectations. Not only does it excel with my workload, it also works well with entertainment such as games and movies. If I were to complain, I would say the keys are way too small so if you have large fingers, be wary. I could go even further to say that this laptop could definitely been larger and I would have accepted it because it definitely has the internals of a large laptop. Another nitpick, is that it has only one usb slot but two usb-c slots?? Other than that, it’s a great machine that what it may lack in its small frame, it definitely makes up for it with its speed and power.

Spoiler Alert – This is one of the best laptops I’ve ever had the privilege to test or use.

1920 x 1080 Touch Screen Display with 100% sRGB Color Gamut Support
Intel Iris Xe built-in graphics with additional nVidia GTX 1650 Graphics Card

Aluminum Construction with Hinges Rated for 20,000 Duty Cycles
500GB SSD with Optane, Bluetooth 5.0, and 802.11AX Wi-Fi
SET-UP
Initial set-up is typical Microsoft with minimal Asus interference of bloatware. All programs and finalization of set-up took place without issue. This was one of the few PC’s I’ve seen that didn’t have some sort of hiccup on initial set-up prior to Windows being fully updated. Good job Asus.
INITIAL IMPRESSIONS
Build quality appears to be VERY good. The laptop is fairly light for all the tech built in, but still feels well-built and very sturdy. I have a one-year-old gaming laptop from another manufacturer with similar specs to this and that laptop feels nowhere near as well-built as this computer. Unlike my other plastic fantastic laptop from a competitor, this laptop just gives the impression of a well-engineered item. The lid opens smoothly, the backlit keyboard functions perfectly with keys having just the right amount of spacing, travel, and feedback. The mousepad is larger than most laptops’ pads and works buttery smooth. Again, compared to my other laptop with similar specs and at a nearly identical price point, this product’s fit and finish is far superior.
PERFORMANCE
The laptop has an impressive spec sheet. The computer has an 11th generation Core i7 (4C/8T) processor, 512GB Intel H10 NVMe SSD (PCIe 3.0 x4 with 32GB of Optane Memory), 16GB of DDR4 RAM, 802.11AX Wi-Fi supporting 160MHz bandwidth, Bluetooth 5.0, 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports, and an nVidia GTX 1650 graphics card for discreet graphics. There are many more items that can be listed, but if specs are important, the Best Buy or Asus website does a better job at laying them all out than I can.
The fans and cooling solution is excellent. My other computers sound like F-15’s spinning up on the runway when they are being used hard. Just starting a gaming session causes the fans to spin at full speed and my other computers sound like they are about to launch into orbit. The Asus thermal solution is much more refined. While the fans are audible, they are not obnoxious. By far the quietest fans I’ve had in a laptop with a dedicated graphics card yet.
Suffice it to say, the laptop performs admirably at all tasks I have asked it to do. Every task I have asked of the computer since receipt has not failed to impress. I have spent dozens of hours writing documents, web surfing, playing videos, playing XBOX games, etc. The computer has not disappointed. XBOX Game Pass games have played smoothly on either the built-in Intel Iris graphics or on the dedicated nVidia card hooked to an external display.
While the display is not the latest and greatest 4k UHD HDR displays in other computers, it also does not leave one wanting more. Text is crystal clear even without using the built-in Windows text tool. Text and images are cleaner and clearer than any other computer I have ever owned. Along with super clear text is beautiful and accurate color reproduction. This display can reproduce 100% of the RGB color gamut and is Pantone certified. It is by far, the most natural looking and accurate display I have had the opportunity to use. This is also the first computer I’ve owned that I have not had to adjust the display properties with a colorimeter to get accurate color reproduction. Truly exceptional.
PORTS AND UPGRADEABILITY
The computer has several ports considering how thin and lightweight it is. Included are 2 Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, a USB Gen 3.2 port, a full-size HDMI port, 3.5mm audio jack port, and an SD card reader.
The SSD is replaceable. The SSD slot takes a standard 2280 NVMe drive should you need more storage later. Like others have stated, one thing that does not appear to be upgradeable or replaceable is the RAM. I have looked, but can’t tell for sure without intrusive disassembly.
NEGATIVES
There are only a few negatives that I can think of:
1. The RAM does not appear to be replaceable or upgradeable.
2. No 4k UHD screen with HDR support on this model.
3. The laptop does not come with a laptop sleeve or protector to store it in while not in use.
CONCLUSIONS
As I stated in my first sentence, this laptop is great. It appears to be well made and has all the latest and greatest features available today. I honestly don’t know if you could find a better computer than this without going to the overpriced boutique brands. Excellent job Asus. Excellent Product! 5 STARS.

I love this laptop so far. My last laptop is an ASUS and that has lasted me over 9 years. It still works pretty reliably but it's a 17" and kind of bulky. I wanted something that was more updated and portable and I don't regret this purchase. The first day I got it I streamed a movie and the graphics were pretty amazing with the edge to edge screen. Sound was a little low, but I think that was the movie itself because any other streaming site, the sound is fine with a good quality. The casing feels solid and sturdy. Keyboard has a good feel to it. I also love that it has a 10-key pad. I seriously am in love with this laptop!

Very solid computer with good speed and power. Graphics card could be a bit better at this price range. Also an OLED screen could be had for similar money. Build quality is excellent and display is as solid as I've seen on non OLED screens.

I really like this laptop! It's fast, quiet and solidly built. So far it has been almost perfect. I say almost because the battery charging has been odd at times. Not often. I have been in the MyASUS app and played around with those settings to make sure something wasn't set wrong. It's not anything that should discourage someone from buying it. I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase. It's a great buy right now at a good discount!
(I came from a laptop that died prematurely. It was slow and quirky at best and the battery started swelling to the point of distorting the keyboard and the bottom. Bad.)

Purchased this laptop to replace a worn out HP Omen used as a desktop/gaming computer. This Asus it is not an ultrabook, but it is thinner than most while packing a whole bunch of power. This thing runs smooth as butter. Absolutely no waiting for anything to open and the laptop turns on in literally a second. I can play modern MMORPGs, Sims 4, GTA etc on medium-high settings with a consistent 60 fps and no frame drops.
Note- I did experience an issue with GPU performance for the first few weeks. The FPS would be consistently at 60 but occasionally drop to 5-10 FPS for several minutes at a time and then jum back up to 60. After a lot of my own troubleshooting (adjusting in game settings/adjusting the windows power plan/adjusting Nvidia graphic card settings), I finally figured out the issue was within the MyASUS app that's installed on the laptop. There is a Fan Profile setting, and mine was set to "Whisper mode". This effectively throttled the CPU/GPU performance with the sole purpose of keeping the laptop quiet. As soon as you set the Fan Profile to "Performance", all of the laptops power will be unleashed. I have experienced 0 FPS drops or hiccups in performance changing this setting, ableit the fans are very excitable now. AMAZING laptop especially for the price.
