Amazing Resolution in a Portable Package
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is amazing in it's capabilities. Bonus, the resolution is better than any of our big screen TVs. We were at a hotel and connected to the TV to watch a movie on Disney+. We ended up watching it on the laptop because the resoltion was so much cleaner.

SCREEN FEELS/SOUNDS LIKE SEPARATING AFTER 3 WEEKS!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.BEFORE purchasing this computer keep the following in mind. My computer is 3 weeks old and already when I use in tablet mode, or open left side panel, it feels and you can hear sounds of screen separating. There's no way I see this lasting the 3 year additional warrantee much less the 1-year Geek Squad warrantee. Even though Best Buy does not cover anything past two weeks, ASUS informed me that they do cover the warrantee for the 1st year. I was also told not to use screen at full brightness as it can damage the screen. Battery not great. 3-4 hours. Screen is magnificent though the screen problem scares me to NOT Recommending this machine!!!!!!!

Good Product for Value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Switched from MAC to Windows. This laptop is a good value for what it offers. Boots up fast and the screen is nice. Having issues with it through when photo editing in Photoshop on the Windows system which I believe is caused by the touch screen functions of this computer.

Asus bring the latest tech to the ZenBook Flip 15
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.ASUS - ZenBook Flip 15 Q538EI 15.6" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - GTX1650Ti Max-Q - 1TB SSD - Grey The Asus Zenbook has a lot going on in a simple and elegant notebook chassis. It would be easy to make this a very long review since there is a lot to talk about here. First off the star of the show is the OLED display. OLED displays are not that commonly found on computers but you can find them on some notebooks such as found here on the Flip 15. OLED screens do not use a black light such as found in every other LED type screen. This allows the screen to display true blacks. Unlike a typical backlit screen that can never have a real true back. This along with the color accuracy of OLED makes a great screen for content creation. The Asus Flip 15 goes even further by providing a screen that is pantone validated. It is also a 4K touchscreen and supports 4096 pressure levels of stylus support. In a practical sense this screen is just gorgeous. I can only find one item not checked for this screen and that is it does not support a high refresh rate. That would be a nice feature but would have just increased the cost of this notebook with very little extra actual value. The second main star of this show is the new 11th Gen Intel processor found here. This is the newest Core i7-1165G7 mobile processor from Intel and deserves a full review by itself. In summary this processor is built on a new 10 nanometer process. This all new processor is very fast and includes Intels revised Xe architecture integrated GPU. It is a 4 core CPU with 8 threads and supports hyperthreading. Intel is working to get their 10 nanometer processors to the desktop but the mobile processors will be first. In my research this processor is excellent at single thread performance and also very competitive when running multicore threads. I ran some Blender benchmarks that ran this processor's cores at 100% for well over an hour and it ran cool and quiet. I was very impressed with how quiet this notebook is under load. The Flip 15 also comes with 16GB of fast ram and a 1TB Intel SSD. These hardware specifications are top of the class but we also have a dedicated Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 TI with Max-Q design with 4GB of DDR 6 memory. The 1650 TI Max-Q processor is not a gaming monster but it can run most games at medium to high settings. The trade off is you won’t run at the full 4K resolution of the screen if you game but you could run games at FHD or 1080p. Where this dedicated Nvidia GPU really helps is if you're running software such as Photoshop since it will take full advantage of this GPU. There are other nice features here such as the new Thunderbolt 4 standard. This gives you full USB 4 support and is expected to be the universal USB standard that should replace all prior USB types going forward. Finally one USB standard to replace the confusing USB types we have today. This is just a sample of the new features you get with this Flip 15. I do have a few grips with the Flip 15. The keyboard is backlit but I would have liked the lighting to get brighter. The touchpad works well but the number pad seems squished to me. These are very minor grips for what is a very nice notebook. Finally I think this notebook is perfect for content creators. I would not get this notebook if your primary need is gaming. Also I think Asus has done a very good job of keeping the software bloat to a minimum here. The bloat here is from Microsoft and can be found on most any standard install of Windows. I was getting well over 5 hours of battery life running normal desktop applications like web browsing and watching videos. And with this screen watching videos or movies is a real treat.

UNMATCHED
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Outstanding computer with a great amount of storage, fabulous graphics, and a large range of capabilities. As a 2 in 1 touchscreen laptop with dedicated graphics, it is a RARE GEM. The OLED screen has spectacular clarity.

Always love an Asus, never disappointment.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Full corner to corner beautiful display. Love how you can angle the screen in many positions for comfort. The processing speed is amazing. No need for a table with a touch screen bought a pen from Amazon and an adult coloring book for stress. It is also very lightweight with plenty of memory.

Flip or Flop
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I like it. I'm an architect and use it for both production and presentation. It's not spectacular like a mac, but the rendering power is comparable to the surface book, with a 1k lower price tag.

Quick Response Time and Beautiful visual Display.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quick start up time with no lagging. My other computers in the past would take 5 minutes for me to use after logging on. The quick response time and computing power is great. This speed is what I wanted when I went looking for a new Laptop.

Asus ZenBook Flip 15
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am really enjoying my ZenBook. It has all the features that I like. I did think with the Harmon Kardon speakers, that I would have got better sound. Maybe there is something that I need to do to make them work better for me. I love everything else.

Great machine.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.THis is a great machine with a lot of horsepower. Really like the graphics. I got it on sale and am very happy with it. Minor gripe: the keyboard seems out of whack to me. The number pad is on the side, so my hands are shifted over. Nothing terrible, but takes some adjusting.

Great Specs - Lackluster Performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The specs on this computer are great with amazing screen clarity. However, it tends to lock-up while working and gets extremely warm - hard shutdowns are required. Somewhat disappointed.

That Chrome might be fool's good.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an extraordinary looking chromebook. Physically it had several desirable features. It had touch screen and the number pad. Then I remembered that the chromebook OS is terrible. There were a number of apps that just refused to work correctly on the chromebook. I actually ended up taking it back to the store and buying an actual laptop elsewhere. If you needed a device to just surf the Web and maybe do some Netflix then this might be the one for you. But if you need any type of real productivity chromebook is not the way to go.
