First thing to mention is the screen (4k OLED), probably one of the best screens you could find in laptop market (Crystal CLEAR). The Laptop's performance and speed is admirable thanks to the Intel core i7 11 gen (Though it's not the fastest core i7). The GTX1650 TI is efficient for mid-level gaming ( 1080, medium setting). Moreover, The 16 Gigabytes of ram and 1TB SSD storage capacity makes life easy for users. The only downside is the speakers (you won't get the high tone from it). Overall, you won't regret buying this laptop.

This review is on the Q538EI-202.BL. The built quality of this machine is very solid. The shell does not flex when twisting it and pressing on the bottom or top does not feel flimsy. Very solid for a laptop that weighs around 4 pounds.
This has a glossy screen and is 4K resolution. Colors are very accurate for photography and imaging work.
This design uses side vents and the laptop stays very cool. An 11th gen i7 processor and GTX 1650Ti GPU.
The keyboard has been an absolute pleasure to use. There is a nice tactile to the keys.
The audio is, well laptop audio. Somewhat anemic through its own speakers. I usually line out or Bluetooth out anyway.
This is a very fast laptop utilizing some of the newest hardware.

9.5/10 - Amazing Screen - Gets 60 fps in games

If you can get this on sale do not think twice about it!
Use the Asus app (comes with computer) to tweak settings to optimize. If trying to game plug in computer, turn on performance fan mode, use nvidia app (comes installed with computer) to set max frames per second to 60. The screen refresh is only 60 so anything over this is pointless anyway. You will be surprised at how powerful this laptop gets! In performance mode it sounds like a jet engine but just put on headphones and you are set. Normal operation for everything other than gaming it is whisper quiet. I love how there is the option to boost the performance.
The 4k OLED screen is the main selling point. The overall build quality is great and feels premium. The combination of the graphics card, ram and size of SSD (1TB) are unmatched at this price point. I purchased on sale for $1,150.
Gamers: If you REALLY want to play the latest games go with a normal FHD screen laptop with faster refresh and a 8 GB nvidia gpu. That trade off will put you at the same price as this laptop. For lighter gamers this works perfectly. I purchased GTA V and Escape from Tarkov for fun and was very surprised to be running both at a solid 60 fps while laptop was in performance mode.
Absolutely love this laptop.

This laptop was perfect for what I was looking for. The picture really is beautiful with the oled screen. I like the touch screen as well. I don't use it for gaming so it would probably be a little weak for that.

Overall a good laptop. OLED screen is great quality, portability is nice, hinge feels solid whole using as a tablet ....a few gripes: no stylus pen included; no support available on asus.com for this model as it had just come out so I could not determine what options for upgrades to the memory or ssd are available -- I believe the memory is "onboard", hence soldered to the mb and lastly, the 1650ti max q graphics card is NOT compatible with a direct VR connection with Oculus Quest. I assumed a 2021 laptop with an 11th gen i7 processor would come with a discrete graphics card strong enough to use VR with -- my assumption was wrong. I really do like the laptop, though as it's battery life is pretty good too---but do not get it for gaming unless you only use facebook games ---laptop looks better in person than online... comparable to an hp spectre imo. If you are looking for a laptop that makes it easy to access the motherboard, this one might not be for you as it has the rigid plastic snaps that you need to carefully pop open after removing the screws. I decided against it due to how much effort was required using professional tools.

Terrific Laptop for Multiple Uses

If you want a personal laptop for mixed use, I'd highly recommend you check this laptop out. This Zenbook is exactly what I wanted...something that handles mixed use very well. It was a bright, crisp screen, clear speakers, and a comfortable full-sized keyboard packaged in laptop that I don't find heavy at all when used in laptop or tablet mode. I can open many webpages in my browser (one being Youtube TV), work on a Word document, and check email in Outlook while still having computing resources to spare!!! My CPU and RAM were running at least than 20% utilization and 60% used respectively. I opened up my Civilization 5 game for my son to play and the laptop handled it well. The CPU consumed an additional 10% and the GPU kicked in slightly at 3%, but the laptop runs smooth as butter. Even with my son playing for a few hours, the battery held up well and didn't require being plugged up until 3 hours of gaming use. On a normal day of browsing, TV watching, and emailing. I can get about 5 hours of battery use before plugging the laptop in. All in all, I know the laptop may be a little pricey, but you won't regret the investment that should hold you for many years to come.

I returned the Asus Vivo book for this one. I wanted the touch screen and larger battery. The Vivobook was 400 cheaper. I like this one and will keep it but if you don't need the touch screen go with the Vivobook and save some money. Same quality build. This one has 1tb instead of 512gb.

Loving my ZenBook Flip 15

I am loving my new ZenBook Flip 15. I was looking for a 2-in-1 computer that had at least 16GB memory and a 1TB SSD. The keyboard and display rotate 360 degrees so that I can use it as a tablet on a stand (for music performing). The display is simply amazing and a good size too. With those features and an i7 processor to boot, I think the price point is amazing and way ahead of the competition. I have hooked it up to additional monitors - in my case, I am still running an old VGA monitor). With the 2 USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 ports, an HDMI, a USB-A port, an audio out, and a photo card slot, there seems to be no limited to my connectivity. With the purchase of inexpensive adapters and/or docking station, I can run lots and lots of devices into it. There are undoubtedly faster processors but at this price point, the combination of features and price point are, in my opinion, pretty impressive.

Best Buy personal and help were exceptional! They could not have been more helpful, the low rating is a reflection of this ASUS model. I will continue to buy Best Buy based on excellent they have treated me on any issues I have. 5 stars to them!
Previous ASUS 2in1 experience: First machine was a 2in1 i5 integrated graphics. A very solid and dependable workhouse I used extensively for years. Second machine was a higher spec 2in1 i7 with dedicated graphics CPU. This machine was plagued from the get go with 100% disk and 100% CPU Windows issues. Yes I did the on-line remedies and for awhile the machine would have the speed the specs said it should have and operate fine for a few weeks before problems came back. I do all the personal laptops for my growing family and most of those machines with quite a bit lower cost and specs performed better. This ASUS was very frustrating and in a little under three years the touch screen gave out.
This machine: I did an extensive search across every line of major laptop maker and this model had everything I wanted. 4K, 2in1 touch screen, 1T SSD, entry to mid level dedicated graphics card, i7 core. There was only three laptops which fit my requirements and this one was the cheapest with actually slightly better specs. I took the plunge and bought it. None of the following were open box machines these were all brand new.
Machine 1: I was in bliss for 14 days. Absolute rocket ship in speed, beautiful screen, and all the connectivity I needed. It ran my graphics intensive programs quite admirably knowing this is not a gaming machine. Then two weeks in machine would not turn on. Brought it to Best Buy and they confirmed it was nothing stupid the machine would not turn on under battery or cord. They FEDEX'ed me a replacement.
Machine 2: Out of box new. On my initial hardware check ran the camera and it was nothing but a blur image. Ran external cameras and they looked great. Just the laptop camera, Brought it to Best Buy and their techs confirmed nothing stupid or driver related just a broke camera on a brand new never used machine. They sent me another new machine in exchange.
Machine 3: Out of box, seem to operate ok until I loaded WoW and Fortnite that day. Both took forever to load and literally just unusable. I suspected the graphics processer was not working. took it to Best Buy and they ran diagnostics on it. It checked good to them initially and then they did a graphics benchmark check and confirmed graphics processor while recognized was not operating.
Best Buy refunded my purchase and apologized for all the issues. Since my wife and I require functioning laptops for our work and social activities while this was going on, I was required to buy another laptop. I purchased a similar spec'ed more expensive HP from Best Buy that is running great and will likely buy that for my wife as the replacement for this ASUS model. Sorry ASUS I gave you three chances. Great specs for value, beautiful screen but not reliable.

This is a very good laptop with great specs. It is fast and very responsive. The screen appearance is sharp with great color. The screen folds to a tablet configuration very easily. The reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is that when it first came it would turn on only with the power cord plugged in. The "on" button did not work due to some problem with the battery. I returned it to Best Buy and received another one which has worked flawlessly for almost a month now. I feel that Asus quality control should have caught the flaw with the first one. I've owned many Asus products and have always been happy with them. I'm really happy with this laptop now that it works. I would recommend it.

All I can say is WOW!! This laptop is beautiful. From the 4K screen to the sleekness of the design...and it's turns in a tablet when you need one! It's super fast!! The only reason why I rated it "good" is because it doesn't have an ethernet port and the number keypad is really skinny. I have adjusted to the number keypad, but it would have been nice to have something a little wider. The audio on this laptop is good and it has an audio equalizer to make it sound even better. What's even better is the price! This laptop does what I need and it's affordable too!

The perfect all-around laptop that can game

The perfect all-around laptop. Biggest con is the speaker quality which can sometimes sound crackly at random from any audio source, seems to be a driver issue. Hopefully an update will fix that.
Pros:
-Fantastic OLED 4k display
-1650ti GPU is good for gaming 1080p performance (quality settings depend on the title)
-Keyboard and touchpad feel good
-The laptop is quiet and cool when running
-Great battery life (the 4k OLED doesn't seem to drain quick at all when using around 40% brightness)
-Value and no compromise | From what I have seen there is nothing on the market that gives you these specs at this price. All other similar options have a compromise being more money or have a 10th gen CPU, 1080p display, no OLED, no 2-in-1 360 design but instead clamshell, or no touchscreen.
Give it a try if you're after these specs.

Decent Laptop, Love The 4K Touchscreen

So far I have been happy with my new Asus laptop. The 4k screen touchscreen is beautiful and easy to use. 16 GB of memory and a decent video card make it easy to do my video editing and the 1TB SSD is quick, gives me plenty of storage, and runs very quiet. No overheating problems like my previous Dell. My only two complaints, (and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5) are the lack of more than one USB type-A port requiring me to use an adaptor if I wish to connect to more than one type-A peripheral, and I am also not very impressed with the sound/speakers, which I find to be low volume and muffled sounding. Although for me this is not a huge issue, I do feel that the sound should be better on a laptop of this price and quality.

I was looking for a new laptop for college and came across this zenbook. After some use it did put up with my demands for example 8+ plus taps opened and Spotify opened. Speaker-wise, the sound is good, but the bass sometimes is a little mumbled-ish. Batter wise I expected a little better but handled roughly 8 hrs of abuse. Fans are quiet when they do kick up it's still pretty quiet. The screen however is absolutely stunning. 2 - 1 laptop does not come with a pen. Overall stratified with my purchase
