Impressive OLED HD graphics with an equally impressive price. Bought this to replace my 5th-grader's Chromebook and it's definitely worth the investment. Handles MS Office and Adobe Creative suite apps with no problem!

I am giving this a solid 5 on the rating. The Laptop is absolutely best I have gotten so far. It is very fast and the screen resolution is fantastic. When I ordered the laptop at first, I was a little bit skeptical but this surpass my expectation. It basically meets the need for why I wanted a laptop of it's spec.

Ideal for school, business, and pleasure. Ports are perfect, screen size is great. Speaker placement could be better, it’s muffled on soft surfaces. Got an external disk drive to meet other needs. Hinges still seem pretty solid.

I think I am going to like my new ASUS computer once I get it fully set up with data and programs/software/apps from my old computer. The clarity and resolution of the screen is great although some of the colors might be a bit too vivid. What I would not recommend is paying for the Geek Squad to set up the computer. They first told me they would need both my computers for 5 days. I told them I could not be without any computer for so long so they shortened the time and had it "set up" and ready for me in less than 24 hours. But when I went to use it I could not find any of my thousands of photos, PowerPoint presentations, Word files or many other things that I need and use on a daily basis. They were still only on my old computer.

The casing seems to be made out of aluminum rather than plastic, so it's much more durable. I tend to stick with ASUS, and this laptop certainly doesn't disappoint. It has excellent specifications for a laptop that isn't primarily for gaming, which I don't intend to do much of anyway. Can easily top 100 FPS when gaming, but depending on the game you'll probably need to cap the FPS to 30 if you don't want the fan to run loudly. The only downside is that this laptop only has one USB-A port, which required me to get a USB hub. At least the USB port is 3.2, which can transfer files at a significantly faster rate. Does not come with a stylus pen. Overall, a very powerful laptop.

Love my new laptop! It is so much faster than my old laptop! Woohoo! My only concern was the limited number of USB Ports. Thanks to the Geek Squad’s recommendation, I resolved my concern with the inexpensive addition of a USB Hub.

Could not decide between this ASUS laptop (Q538EI) and the ASUS Q537FD. Both cost $1,450 and had 16 ram. The only major differences were the CPU (11th gen i7 to 10th gen i7) and GPU (GTX 1650Ti to GTX 1050). Went with the Q537FD because it was heavily discounted as an open-box item. Three weeks later decided to purchase the Q538EI to see whether or not I made the right choice. After only one day, I returned this laptop (Q537EI) for the following reasons. 1. Build Quality. This laptop does not feel like a $1,500 device. Although there is little to no flex on the chassis and lid, the metal body feels and looks slapped together. In fact, there were small gaps on the left and right side of the laptop's chassis. And pushing down on the gap on the left side of the chassis created a clicking noise. 2. Display. The display is very bright 422 nits. However, when you lower the brightness down to 40%-50%, the screen is darker than my Q537FD. And when brightness is lowered all the way down to zero, this laptop's screen becomes very dark. Conversely, the screen on the Q537FD is still bright enough to watch videos or read documents under the light of a desk lamp (which helps the battery lasts longer when unplugged). 3. Battery. This laptop has a very large battery (96,000 mW), which is 25,000 mW larger than the Q537FD. However, for both laptops, I got between 12-13 hours of continuous YouTube viewing (40% brightness, Wifi and Bluetooth both on, Balance power mode with battery saver on). 4. Ports. This laptop has two USB-C ports and a single USB-A port. The Q537FD has two USB ports and one USB-C port. This might be a positive for some people, I need more USB-A ports than USB-C ports. 5. Appearance. The hinges that connect the lid to the chassis and edges around the chassis are silver. This contrast, when juxtaposed against the mineral grey chassis and lid, causes the laptop to look less than premium. This may be a non-issue for others. Positives. 1. CPU. The 11th gen i7 cpu is blazing fast. 2. Display. Screen is very bright 3. GPU. Graphic card is better than the one in the Q537FD. 4. 16 ram and 1 tb SSD 5. DDR 4 memory 6. Weights less than Q537FD (4.2 to 4.6 pounds) 7. Face recognition is quick and reliable Summary. Without the discounted open-box price, I'd still recommend the Q537FD over this laptop (Q537EI). However, at an open-box discount of $300-$500, it is a no brainer which laptop you should get. Finally, if you want a 15.6" laptop with an 11th gen i7 processor and GTX 1650Ti GPU, look at other laptops with a better build quality or check out the Zenbook Flip 15 UX564 (the non-Best Buy version of the Q537EI)...

I've been building desktops with Asus motherboards for years. I've been using Asus laptops for nearly as long. This laptop is just another outstanding product. The build, functionality, and support are world class. Buy this now, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Asus!

This is a great laptop. It works better than my old Dell laptop which was also a 4k touch screen. Same memory but I can run intense games on it which for some reason I could not do on my old Dell. It is a pain to install Linux on so I am using raspberry pi for that.

An excellent laptop. Very sturdy, which is important for someone who travels a lot or can be clutzy. The graphics and resolution are stunning. So sharp and clear, I just stop and become mesmerized by it! However, I do not like how from the moment I turned on my computer, I am forced to log in with a Microsoft account. Older laptops do not require this. I felt like I was being forced to give up all of of my privacy settings as I was setting up the computer. It also tries to make you use the Microsoft Bing browser, which I did not like. I prefer Google Chrome. The scroll bar also does not work well, but that could just be me, I am not sure. You also need to update the drivers for the toolbar if you want the weather feature. In terms of power and durability of this computer, especially if you work from home all day and need a lot of graphics, this laptop is definitely worth it.

Love my new laptop. It meets my requirements to be able to run my home based financial services business. Does everything I told the sales person that I wanted it to do. It keeps up with my brain & I don't have to wait on it to catch up with my thought process.

So far the compuet is really good. The screen colors and quality is magnificent. One thing i don't lile is that the mouse pad moves too fast and clicks easy. I tried adjusting the settings but its atill very sensitive to touch.

It's a great deal for the price. It's an i7, but on the slower side. Overall, the performance is good, but if you are looking for instant responses, then get a laptop with a higher-end i7 or an i9.
