Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the ZenBook Pro Duo 15 UX582's performance features. However, a significant number of customers expressed disappointment with the screen resolution, noting that it did not meet their expectations based on the advertised specifications. Several comments highlighted the lower-than-expected pixel density and the lack of a 4K display. The discrepancy between advertised and actual screen resolution is a recurring concern among users.

Great specs, right? I really kept an open mind about this computer for a month or so of heavy daily use (Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop mostly). The screen is weirdly not HD / it's got a pixelated look to it somehow. The colors on the top monitor were so wack out of the box and it took me a week to dial them in. Not a good computer for graphic design - trust me - you can do so much better! I'm finding I don't really use the second screen either and it feels like a gimmick. Now, I'm having trouble running Adobe Illustrator at full capacity because the GPU isn't cooperating. I'm keeping the graphics card updated and everything. The lag is worse thank my previous laptop I was using for 6 years. I have so many regrets. :(

I absolutely love this laptop - the multi screen functionality and touch screen keeps my productivity on point. The only real downside is that the battery dies rather quickly when running both screens - rather expected.

Screen resolution is only 1080p at 60fps with the 3060 graphics card. I brought it back since for $300 more I could get the 3080 version that puts out 4k. Now with that said this version laptop is a powerhouse in everything else. Games looked great with the oled screen and never had any other issues that the personal preference listed above. Personally speaking, for 3 grand I’d expect it to have 4k capabilities.

This is a fabulous laptop, its a powehouse, and Asus got it right. I love this keybard layout, and Asus provides accessories to make it a truly comfortable portable pro station. It’s pretty heavy though, hence the backpack they provide. But as the other reviews state, it’s not 4k. It’s 1920x1080. It connects to 3k monitors just fine with a triple monitor docking station, but it’s internal screens aren’t 4k.

I love the 2 screens together in one place. Asus still needs to fix the issues with using the Asus pen with the Screen Pad+. They are incompatible and it is recorded on many of the Asus help sites. The Screen Pad+ works fine with using your finger or a mouse.

My only complaint with this computer has been the fact that it does not have a thunderbolt connection , or a dedicated display port to the GPU , outside of that it has been an amazing laptop that has been a real workhouse , from rendering to video games , it does it all

The UX582HM-XH96T is not a 4k display as it states under the specs. Asus makes it very confusing with the 72000 different versions they put out and Best Buy needs to fix the spec information on their site Other than feeling that I've been mislead because part of the reason why I bought this device was a 4k display, it is a very nice device

Amazing experience so far. Loved the build quality and stuff in the box. Performance-wise it is mind-blowing. I have an intel i7 11th gen with 16 GB ram and moving on to this beast feels like a powerhouse. The additional screen is like a bonus, loved the way Asus has organized the screen. It feels amazing. I can't stop playing with it. The most interesting thing I found is that you can convert the whole 2nd screen as a mouse pad. Isn't that cool? Overall it is an amazing machine, most helpful for multi-taskers and creators.
