Unboxing & Setup: In the box is the laptop, a one-piece charging cord with a 65W charging block and warranty paperwork and user’s manual. The laptop was well packaged for protection in shipping and the box material is recycled, which is a plus. Setup was easy with just a Windows update that wanted to run before being ready to use. First Impressions: This is a really well-built laptop, the Ceraluminum shell is aesthetically pleasing and stands up to use on the go…in fact it meets military grade certification. I got this laptop just in time for a trip and its slim design was appreciated when carrying in my backpack and when using it on a tray table on my flight. The 3K OLED touch display is vivid and crisp and the touch functionality responds without any lag. Whether you’re editing photos, watching movies, or working on creative projects, the visuals are breathtaking, and the colors are rich and true. The backlit keyboard is full-sized, and the trackpad is a good size and features smart gestures to support video playback, screen brightness and more. The Harman / Kardon and Dolby Atmos tuned audio system compliments the OLED screen with immersive multi-directional surround sound output. Specs & Performance: The Intel Core Ultra 7 series 2 processor paired with 32GB of RAM and an Intel Arc Graphics card delivers outstanding multitasking power and creative capabilities supported by AI. The Zenbook never slowed when running and switching between multiple applications. There’s 1TB of SSD based storage to handle even the largest files and boots up instantly. There are 2 x Thunderbolt, 1 x HDMI and 1 x USB-A ports built in, which is a plus given the slim built of this laptop. This is a Copilot+ laptop so it’s future-proofed with AI based technology to simplify demanding applications and provides professional-level performance. Battery life is the best I have ever seen in a feature-packed laptop of this size. ASUS claims 27 hours, and that is a realistic figure. As mentioned, I used this laptop while traveling and it literally ran for multiple days of sporadic use without needing to be plugged in. The power cord and charging brick is relatively compact to align with the design of the Zenbook, so it fits well into a backpack and charges at a 65W max and topped off the battery quickly when used. I’ve test-driven just about every 14-inch laptop currently on the market, and for a Windows PC, this is a wonderful machine. Snappy processor, fantastic build (LOVE ceraluminum!), excellent battery life, and super portable. The touch display is gorgeous, but distractingly reflective. Great keyboard. The mechanical trackpad is large but has some issues with palm rejection, even at the lowest sensitivity. Out of all the OEMs I’ve dealt with, MyAsus is probably the least intrusive and easiest to navigate. I’m a heavy 365 multitasker (no creative work on this; I save that for my MacBook Pro so I didn’t even install my creative apps) and while it occasionally did get warm, I didn’t experience any lags or extreme overheating. Very minimal fan noise as well. If Windows is a necessary evil for your use case, I highly recommend this machine over pretty much any of the other ultraportables available.

Having owned previous versions of the ASUS Zenbook and being quite pleased with the build quality, performance & aesthetics I presumed this new version would be more of the same and it certainly is that. My specific model is the Zenbook S14 UX5406 and my absolute first impression upon unboxing the unit is the unique look of the exterior & how thin they have been able to keep the chassis. The exterior material has an unusual look & feel that I have not experienced, it feels as though it is metal but feels as though it is something else at the same time. ASUS refers to it as an all new material called Ceraluminum, a mixture somehow of aluminum & ceramic which sounds odd but is amazing at keeping fingerprints and scratches from appearing. The rest of the laptop features an all-metal build and there is no flex found anywhere on the laptop and can easily be opened with a single finger with no problem. Although being just 1.2cm thick, ASUS managed to install an HDMI 2.1 port, dual USB Type-C ports, a USB Type-A port, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. My specific model comes with an 14" 3K OLED Touch display w/120hz refresh rate that does not dissapoint as it is has great color & brightness and is HDR & Dolby Vision capable as well as being Pantone certified.The keyboard is the only thing that does not feel on the premium side being a backlit chiclet style that just feels a bit thin on each click but may not bother most folks however the touchpad is smooth & fast & supports multigesture which is handy at times. Inside the display is a 1080p IR webcam which performs solidly. As far as sound goes ASUS has installed a 4 speaker Harmon Kardon system with Dolby Atmos support which is very nice compared to most other laptops. The Intel Core Ultra 7 with 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM has soo far worked flawlessly and handled any task I have thrown at it. From the limited amount of research I have done soo far it does not appear that the RAM can be upgraded however the 32GB should be fine for almost anyone. Although you would assume the battery drainage would be substantial it has been surprisingly lite on usage. Connectivity wise you are equipped with Bluetooth 5.4 and WiFi 7 which I have been able to take advantage of and it is blazingly fast. Soo far I love this Ultralight and it has now become my daily machine due to the looks and performance. I would recommend this laptop to my mom and if its good enough for her its good enough for anyone!

I bought this laptop for my studies and it has been an excellent choice. It is lightweight and easy to carry in my backpack. It runs fast, turns on within seconds, and I can use multiple applications at the same time like Word, PowerPoint, Google Docs, and Zoom without it slowing down. The battery lasts several hours, so I don’t have to constantly look for an outlet.

The Zenbook S14 is overall an excellent laptop for most people, with great build quality, battery life, a surprisingly good integrated GPU, and a fantastic display. To address the pros of the laptop first, it is very light but doesn’t compromise on build quality at all. It feels like a sturdy and premium laptop the moment you pick it up and hold it in your hands. It is very portable and it fits easily into any backpack. It also provides a great experience with a decent keyboard, enough ports (including one USB A port), and a beautiful 3K screen. This generation of Intel processors has really focused on efficiency and battery life so the battery life is much better than other Intel-based laptops I’ve used before. With that said, the increased focus on efficiency has made the performance a bit lackluster, especially considering that it has an Intel Ultra 7 CPU and 32GB of RAM. The performance should be enough for the majority of users, like office workers and people who do lots of multitasking on the internet, Microsoft Office programs, etc. It was just not quite enough performance for my needs, but it’s a close to perfect laptop for most people.

Loving the speed and screen accuracy that this laptop brings. I do photography and I just switched to this one and enjoying every second of it. It is so light, the battery is lasting a long time, it has a large storage for my large photo files, lightroom and photoshop are very responsive and my editing didn't get affected by the screen resolution and color calibration that it has out of the box.

I have several devices i use but wanted something windows based that checks many items on my list. Battery life, screen quality, light weight, powerful, and then silly things like shorter arrow right and left keys, DEL button on upper right, USB A port i guess, and overall cool design. Haptic trackpad would have been nice and maybe usb c on both sides, but otherwise this is a great machine. Was excited when I saw BB had in stock to pickup!

Solid laptop with a screen that makes work and media look clean and vivid. It is light, sturdy, and easy to carry, and battery life holds up well through a full day of mixed tasks. USB C charging is a big win since I can top it up with the same charger I use for other devices, and for light use I do not need to bring the big brick. My only hesitation was Windows 11, which is not the manufacturer’s fault, so I installed Ubuntu instead and it worked perfectly with no fuss. The system recognized the hardware, sleep and wake behaved as expected, and the touch and trackpad felt smooth so I could get right back to work. Thermals stay in check and fan noise is low under everyday loads, which keeps the experience pleasant. The build feels premium without being flashy, the hinge moves with a confident feel, and the keyboard is comfortable for long notes and emails. The panel is bright with rich color, which helps for photos, streaming, and spreadsheets side by side. Wi Fi stays stable, Bluetooth connects quickly, and wake from sleep is instant so there is no waiting around between classes or meetings. Storage is fast and there is plenty of memory, so multitasking does not bog down even with many tabs and apps open. It is a simple machine to live with that does the basics right and then adds a great display and strong battery on top. For the performance, portability, and overall polish, the price for the quality is good. It's abit pricy for the lack of a external gpu at it's regular price.

Performance is at it's best within the budget given with the newer Intel Core Ultra 7 258v CPU. The overall design and layout is well thought out. It's ceramic finish is a feature for not only how premium it looks but also for it to not hold onto smudges and fingerprints. Once you take it into one hand you will notice the overall feel and weight is spectacular given it's 14" 3k OLED screen size (2880x1800). Opening it up with one hand is always a plus. The layout of the chiclet keyboard is nice and large. There are no color LEDs, only bright white, which makes this feel even more premium in a way because it keeps it professional looking. The track pad is OK with detecting swipes. It is nice that it has features to control volume, screen brightness, and media scrolling. It's size is midsize I would say, compared to the overall size of the keyboard. The display is beautiful thanks to it's OLED panel which makes the blacks look deep black. It's also a touch screen which makes navigating even more easier. Harmon Kardon speakers sounds good. Nothing to zonk being again with how thin this laptop is. It's software is AI forward. It has a built in key for Microsoft CoPilot, which has it's neat AI features for asking questions, suggestions, coding, and more. Microsoft Preview, helps with capturing snippets as you work and allows for AI selection features. ScreenXpert is always in the lower right hand side of the screen which is neat for certain task or application layouts. At the time of this writing, pricing for this ultra premium, well spec'd device is reasonable given the competition. You can use this device for anything from video editing, photo editing, mid tier level gaming, work, and general entertainment. You can rest assured this will keep you satisfied with it's performance for many years.

Fantastic battery life and power. Was considering switching to Windows on ARM (Snapdragon X) for better battery life and power, but am glad I didn't with this laptop. You get close to the same efficiency as ARM based pcs, but with the benefit of the software support of x86. Also, the laptop itself is great! Really nice build quality, is lightweight, and stays cool on your lap.

I honestly like this laptop definitely better than my Mac’s. The screen displays color very nicely. It’s slick and lightweight but very powerful. The battery last long and it honestly doesn’t take long to charge at all. I also do enjoy the copilot AI that it has build in its very useful. I also didn’t know it was touchscreen which was a bonus.

Slim laptop that is definitely a choice over the macbook. The specs are something perfect for a college student in any IT space. I use it all the time the OLED screen is breath taking and paired with the 3K display makes an awesome combo. If someone is to purchase they will not be disappointed, fans are incredibly quiet and MAKE SURE download G-Helper!! I am a student and this laptop is perfect, light, compatible, and sleek. My friends have given me compliments because of the laptop and thats a +!!

This laptop was way better than I initially expected it to be. It is crazy fast, has some pretty decent battery life, a very good looking screen, nice feeling key presses, and really good speakers. This laptop is also really light too (definitely lighter than my 2017 macbook pro). Solid construction and it definitely looks like it'll stand up to the test of time.

Speed and responsiveness are what is needed for non-gaming, non-multimedia system. Very portable and solid feel.

If you’re looking for a MacBook competitor, this is it. Screen is gorgeous and PC overall is snappy for anything I’ve thrown at it so far. Battery life is phenomenal and traveling with this light machine is amazing. I think the current retail price is a bit steep but somewhere around $12-1300 range is the sweet spot if you can find it on sale or wait a bit. You won’t regret this purchase either way.

Overall, I’m happy with this purchase. This was for my father’s birthday and we had no issues setting this up. Performance is fast, the chassis is thin and light, and the battery lasts a long time. Above all, the OLED display is amazing. The AI features are nice too, especially Windows Recall which is helpful for those that forget things often.

Great Notebook, super slim and light. Battery last pretty long compared to other notebooks I had, easily a day of work without charging. Is pretty fast and can handle light and medium load programs, I use Autocad, Adobe Package, etc at the same time and still works fast. did not test very heavy files. overally happy with the purchase.

Bought this laptop to replace an 8 year old Dell laptop that was not upgradeable to Windows 11. I wanted a lightweight laptop that had a mid range processor, 32GB of memory and at least a 1TB SSD. There are many cheaper ones but they had less memory and a smaller SSD. From experience when investing in a laptop, you should try and get enough memory and disk space for future proofing since many of these are not upgradeable. The OLED screen is very nice, not as bright as the better LED displays, but adequate. Battery life so far has been excellent and there seems to be a minimum of bloatware included. One downside is only having Windows 11 Home, but this is easily upgradeable to Pro if you look around for an inexpensive license (I found one for $20). First Asus laptop. We'll see how it holds up. A little pricey, but still cheaper than some of the competitors with the same features.
