This is a beautiful laptop. The design and display are impressive. However, it gets so hot on the underside and keyboard that I am not sure I am going to keep it. It is amazingly thin but it may be the thinness that that is causing the heat issue.

This is a case of a laptop that is based all on design with no thought of function (mainly heat dissipation). The build quality/4K touch screen/cpu speed/battery life are all very good, but because of how thin this laptop is, the heat build up is extreme. The keyboard and underneath get very hot/fans are constantly running. So typing on this laptop is not very comfortable. Also would be concerned for longevity based on the heat build up over time, depending on how heavily it is used.

Despite numerous lukewarm reviews I am very happy with this laptop. I upgraded it to windows 11 pro and also installed a WD SN7100 2TB SSD. I use it with an expansion dock through which I connect an external 4K Monitor. The only complaint I have is that the ASUS drivers seem a bit dodgy. The monitor sometimes doesn’t receive an HDMI signal after hibernation? Hopefully ASUS will address their deficiencies going forwards. I use a (fairly powerful, slightly noisy) cooling pad to address the heating that folks talk/complain about and it keeps my CPU temperature comfortably in the 50s. Overall I’m very happy with the laptop. Beautiful screen and a decent selection of ports.

This thing is seriously awesome, and I'm so glad I got it. It handles everything my wife throws at it with her drawing tablet. Plus, all the art programs and other creative software run flawlessly, which is a huge relief. No lag or glitches, just pure smooth performance! I highly recommend it.

I am thrilled about this purchase. This is a superb laptop, with a fast response and outstanding graphics. I can perform multiple tasks without any trouble. While I hesitated on buying an ASUS product (this is the first one I’ve ever had), the advice I got at Best Buy was indeed the best: this is an excellent buy. I would totally recommend this laptop!

Amazing laptop! A perfect Macbook Air alternative for windows users. Very well built, lightweight, but still powerful. If you are into graphic design, video editing or light gaming, this laptop can handle it well.

My daughter likes this laptop. Overall, it works really well. Unfortunately, the "right" arrow key broke and it is not replaceable. The key still functions, it just has a vertical break in the middle of the key. Not sure how it broke. The screen is clear, and it is fast enough for her.

As soon as the ASUS laptop arrived, I went to set it up and plugged it in. Instantly, it was loud and became hot. As I was setting it up, it kept freezing on me. I called ASUS tech support numerous times, only for them to tell me to give it a hard reset to put it back to the factory settings. I tried to do this numerous times over a few hours with no such luck. It would only FREEZE again! They gave me a case number. ASUS suggested I return the laptop or send it to them for repair. I called Best Buy, too. ASUS and Best Buy were very helpful. I will be returning this ASUS laptop and will purchase an HP instead! I will not exchange this for the same laptop only to have the same issues 1 year and a day later. No thank you! :(

Beautiful screen, battery last much longer than average windows laptop. Im impressed with this new AMD CHIP. Great experience so far. Only down side is track pad if it is glass it would make this 10/10

I'm giving this laptop 3 stars for the screen alone. I can also run multiple tabs on Chrome without an issue. Unfortunately, the second I open up anything else, like Word or Powerpoint, it begins to overheat VERY intensely. If I plug the charger into it, the screen goes black for a few seconds - same when unplugging - and it continues to flash periodically, making it unusuable while charging. If I am resting my left hand onto the base below the keyboard, it affects the touchpad and starts highlighting my words or moving webpages as if I clicked on them. Lastly, the sound works when it wants to and I sometimes have to restart the entire computer to get it to work.
This is very unacceptable for a brand new laptop. I did all the BIOS updates that the manufacturer suggested would resolve these issues. I'm returning it. I really wanted to love this and am so incredibly disappointed as the screen and build are absolutely stunning. The speed is great as well for simple browsing, but this is supposed to be an efficient computer for multitasking and studying. It is not.

Screen broke after a few weeks

I bought it open box in good condition, which you might see something wrong like scratch and what not, but it started having problems with the screen. First the touch screen feature stopped working. Which I found strange, but then 2 days later it black screen while it still turned on. I tried everything from complete hard reset to resetting the gpu. It worked for a day until the screen just completely died. It wasn’t the screen being unplugged or anything, it was the literal screen leaving this world for good. Apparently a lot of Asus laptop especially the zenbooks and newer model have the same issue. So I can’t even recommend a laptop from Asus. I suggest looking away from Asus until matters like this resolved. Only reason I give it 3 stars is cause it was still under warranty. However, without it the screen alone would’ve cost 5000 to replace and to me that isn’t worth.

This is an excellent machine with one flaw. Premium construction, keyboard, battery life and a very nice light weight. The big screen is gorgeous too, except it is glossy and reflects so much light that it's kind of distracting. It would be perfect otherwise, so if a glossy screen doesn't bother, this is the laptop to get.
