After doing the research, reading the reviews, I was convinced this was the best performance/value combo. Buyer's remorse. Power, performance, versatility isn't much better than the $220 Asus Chromebook I bought for my middle school son. Next time I'll spend the extra money on an Apple.

I work on Microsoft Excel alot and I wanted to switch to pc from my macbook because it's more ideal for Microsoft suite applications. First off, the laptop is beautifully designed. It comes in 3 colors, slim and light. Turns on in 5-8 seconds from the time you press the power button. Battery life is pretty good too. It can last for a few days with light use each day. Stand by time doesn't drain the battery too quickly. The speakers on the laptop are horrible. I would recommend this laptop for basic Web surfing and office applications.

First I want to start office that it is very light and on top of that very stylish. The battery life is amazing. I've on my for about 12 hours plus on the battery option balanced. I have yet to try the high performance mode. I feel like there's no need for it since it's incredibly fast. No lag with this bad boy. The display is amazing as well everything is in high quality. And the reboot time is literally less than a minute. you can't go wrong with this. after this i'm never going back to mac.

The specs and features check out and sound like a good steal. Then, you get the device in your hands and find out how poorly made it is and start to get frustrated. The design is just flimsy all around. Sure! The Zenbook looks good, but there's not much good about it. Best Buy also wants you to download Windows 10 rather than putting it on the machine for you, so that will eat up more of the SSD, since the write-life cycle only goes so far. I drained the battery within 4 hours, so the hype on a long battery is false and after the second charge it was even less. Do not buy this.
