Nice phone, sometimes worked slowly, but if you often boost the phone, it will work faster. Battery life - 2 days

This phone was great for about 6 months. I love the design and it worked well, then one day, just seemed to slowly stop working. Bluetooth wouldn't connect to anything, then it wouldn't connect to wifi, then it was extremely slow. Checked for updates and eventually did a master reset. Then same issues and the fingerprint scanner wouldn't work. Eventually got rid of it less than 9 months of use. Couldn't even get the full year that I wanted.

With a price lower than any carriers entry level phone but with more features, this phone is a no brainer. The large battery will last you for days. It even comes with a cable to charge other devices! It feels great on your hand and the build quality feels like a more expensive phone.

I've had a couple of bargain phones ($80) offered by Cricket, and this one fits right in, although it's nearly twice the price. The only reason to buy this phone is for the battery life. It really is fantastic. Better than my 2nd gen Moto G even . It also hooks up to Bluetooth devices well, and is fast enough for a$150 phone. Disappointments? It doesn't seem to be 5g wifi capable, so it's exluded from half my home network, as well as my smartTV, ( which I don't want to change to 2.4, as it's streaming great off the 5g on my router). It also frequently drops off all wifi networks without warning , and starts using data. Unlike my previous cheapies the ASUS won't reconnect by itself. Good thing data's cheap nowadays! The other issue is the camera. Same as my idol 3, it has a high megapixel count (16), but takes grainy pics in all conditions. I immediately downloaded MX Camera, and it helps, but it's still grainier than my 8 mpx MotoG. That's about it.

Other than the fact that I don't enjoy the sleek and slim design of the Asus as well as my bulkier Samsung Note 5, the Asus phone has most, if not all ,the features you'd expect in much more expensive phones. I can only find fault with the speakers. The sound quality is just not there, and neither perhaps the camera's pixels, otherwise, great phone for the price.
