Type C charging, GPS, light weight (less than 1 lbs), optional stylus are the winning points. BestBuy and Asus should indicate clearly what specific stylus is sold by Asus.

I was looking to replace my 4 yr old Samsung Galaxy Pro 8.4 and the only current products matching the specs were there Galaxy S2 and the S3. The S2 had a really old OS no better hardware, while the S3 had a price tag twice as high as the ZenPad. After comparing specs, reading reviews, and seeing that it was likely that Android OS 8 would be coming to this, I was sold. I was not disappointed! While the size of the ZenPad is wider than my Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, it has MUCH better responsiveness and the GUI was easy to get used to. Size-wise, it's nearly identically sized to the 2018 iPad 9.7". My only complaints are the thin bezel on the sides, making it hard not to hit the screen with my hands, and the fact that the Menu and Back hard-buttons are positioned opposite from my Samsung tablet, thus resulting a little re-conditioning. Aside from that, this baby is just what I needed - modern OS, speedy, external storage, great sound, and vivid display. Definitely recommend!

Excellent tablet, I've had it since October works for my needs as a college student and used moderately for reading textbooks and pdfs and watching Netflix. My only complaint is the battery life, it's kinda low for my liking. Also I don't use a stylus with this tablet so I don't have an opinion of or experience with the zpen or any other stylus with this device.

I purchased this tablet to replace an older Nook that was on its last leg. I was very pleased with the speed and memory (64 mb). I added an addtl 64 mb for external and have plenty of storage. Only complaint is battery life isn't as promoted but still pretty good. A great tablet overall for a very good price when compared to other tablets with less memory.

The resolution is good, the sound is good and it is light weight. The best part is that 64G internal memory. The problem I have with this tablet is that it does not conform to how other tablets work. For example, the placement of the home and back key is the reverse of other tablets. So, it is a bit inconvenient.

The tablet does everything I expected it to. The build feels nice, its very responsive. I also bought its stylus. The stylus works very good with the tablet. I tried many third party styluses but non worked well except its own stylus. My only complaint is that there is a little of adhesive coming out of the screen at the edge, I ordered another one but it had the same issue.

Nice build feels quality in the hands. Fast and responsive. Battery could last longer but sufficient for my needs. Get a faster charger to speed up charting time.

After a few weeks of ownership, I can say this is the best tablet I've ever owned. Screen is crisp and vibrant, the casing is solid, and it's thin, but just heavy enough not to float away from you when you pick it up. It's got lots of memory to load programs and images quickly, and so far I haven't had any glitches with the OS. Hard to find a longer replacement USB-C cable, but charging next to my ASUS Laptop is quick and painless. Great buy, and no regrets!

Replaced my Sony Xperia Z4 tablet and really like the Asus Zen Pad. Very good build quality, great display, fingerprint sensor, very loud speakers. Only negative is the thin bezel sides.

There is bloatware since it is not straight android but quality is good for the price. Only 4 stars because battery drains fast. Google assistant does not work too well after sometime. It used to be so tight with me just doing voice commands on it-- now for some reason, it does not respond as fast. And it's only been 2.5 months. Not bad if you want a nice tablet for a good price but it is not hassle free.

This is a great Android Tablet that has a premium build quality, great performance and USB type C connection.

Great screen and speakers are loud and clear. Easier on the eyes for older people. However harder to hold in one hand as compared to my old Samsung 8" tablet.

Asus did a nice job making this tablet. The display is crisp and the 4MB of RAM makes it one of the fastest you can get. Very comparable to Apple save the fact that the Operating Systems differ.

Easy to use. Just the right size. The 4GB ram really is very helpful

it's a very good tablet for my needs which is media consumption, i don't really use it for productivity so can't rate it on those merits...but high quality screen and decent speakers along with very good headphone sound output

Bought for my wife as the prior ASUS with 1 gig RAM & 16 gigs of storage was maxed out. She plays several games like Bingo bash & Infinity Slots etc. The new Tablet is very fast and has a beautiful screen ( color and resolution).

Asus did a fine job putting together this tablet. It includes 4GB of RAM so it runs smoothly and performs tasks quickly. It also has a very high resolution display as well as a free upgrade to Android 7.

This is the best tablet I have ever had. The only thing wrong it the battery life is shorter than an iPads. But the fast charging time makes up for it.
