Works well, but looks like a tablet on your wrist.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Positives: High level of function and reliability. Great battery life. Screen is bright and readable. Comfortable, non-irritating. Vibration is consistent, can be felt. Strap mechanism is nice, watch feels secure. Negatives: Large bezel, squarish tablet look, pretty much screams smartwatch so only fits with casual dress. Slippery charger that will come loose easily, so you'll have to set aside space for this. Final Thoughts: It's a great introductory item for smartwatches. Since it has a high level of reliability, it fulfills the current potential of smartwatch technology at a very attractive price. I don't use the fit functions, it is functioning as the "first line of defense" screen for my Galaxy S6. Think of every notification on your phone going to your wrist first, and being able to have some limited interactions with the notifications. If calls and notifications are a frequent part of your day, smartwatches are immensely useful (I can receive 2factor authentications from Twitter/Google/Steam on my wrist; otherwise the App environment for watches is relatively scarce at the moment). Taking notes, reminders, and scheduling events from ones watch is really attractive too. No speaker, but can take calls through Bluetooth and the phone itself. I use the Zenwatch as a primary watch for casual and everyday use, while I use an LG Urbane for more formal or work occasions.

Great starter smart watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my Asus smart watch. The batter is really good and could easily last me two days without a charge. I'm in real estate so I tend to get a lot of emails, calls and texts while I'm out with clients. With my smart watch I can mute notifications and still receive messages without being rude and having to pull out my phone. PROs: Nice style watch, easy to get bands, tons of different watch faces to customize, syncs well, nice fit, good color display during the day, most bang for your buck. CONs: Would have liked a camera, does not let you answer calls and speak through watch. All in all if you are looking to try out a smart watch and do not want to spend a whole lot of money, this is definitely worth a try.

Love it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wonderful battery life, I am left with about 50% battery life before bed, the watch also has a built in speaker which will become useful with the next Android wear update that will allow us to talk to someone with the watch.

Excellent watch, small band.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent watch, far surpassed my expectations for the price. One minor fault. The band length is rather short, I don't have exceptionally large wrists; I just measured them at about 7.5 inches, but I have to wear this band at the largest size (the last hole).

Impressive, cheap Android Wear smart watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Zenwatch 2 is super impressive for the cost. The screen is a lower resolution than its competitors but is still great. Has an always on black and white mode so you can always see what time it is without having to wake the watch up. Battery life for my usage is ridiculous, way more than I expected. If you like Android Wear and don't want to spend a ton, this is a good choice. Note, I've paired this with an android phone. Not sure how well it works with iOS. Also, the included strap was a bit too small for what I needed, but it supports replacement watch straps.

Great for price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great smart watch for the price works better with Android. It works with Apple but very limited with apps and what it can do but basic notification fuctions are good on IPhones. Will try the Apple Watch soon to see the difference. No heart rate monitor like most other smart watches but again way less than others

Great Purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Perfect smart watch. Great look and the zen manager works flawlessly. Im a techie and I would definitely say this beats out your top smartwatches on the market for the money. 149 dollars with a leather band beautiful design. This is a purchase you definitely need to make. Only thing it doesn't have is a HR monitor. But I have had smart watches in the past and it's a feature that I never use. In the market for a smart watch but don't care about a heart rate monitor. This is the watch for you!!!! Buy it!!!!!

Great product at a bargain price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Please note that I use this smartwatch with my iPhone 6 Pros: Build quality and looks - people think it is an Apple Watch Size - isn't too bulky Value - $150 is a bargain for these specs Battery life - can last up to two days if not used heavily Uses universal spring bar pins on watch bands Cons: You do not get the full functionality when paired with an iPhone. No pulse and sleeping sensor like on Fitbits

Great value smartwatch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not quite as polished as other smart watches, but this is an extremely good value. The bezels are enormous, but in daily use they aren't detrimental. Other than that it performs about the same as most other smart watches on the market, with very occasional hitches when scrolling through menus. The battery will last about 2 days with light use and 1 with heavy usage. More than good enough for use as a watch with a few extra features. What few flaws there are in the watch can be excused for the very appealing price.

Great value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch is great. It works well, the battery life is fantastic, and it's very stylish. I've studied this watch before making the purchase and saw that many were complaining about the short battery life. I can confirm that the watch easily gives an entire day when used heavily (an entire day meaning from taking it off the charger @ 7am, I don't have to plug it back in til about midnight). And when used conservatively, it could definitely give 2 days, with a little charge left over for the next day (an hour or 2 @ most lol). And with the ease of switching the watch strap and the designing your own watch face, it's like having multiple watches to match whatever your style is for that day built in to one watch. I held off on the 5th star tho because there are a few things that need attention. The watch has the option to connect to your phone via wifi, so you can leave your phone in one room and walk into another without losing connection but this rarely works the way it's supposed to. The other thing is for some reason, rarely, the watch disconnects from your phone completely and the only way to reconnect it is to go thru the pairing process again. This doesn't happen often but is annoying when it does. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this product the financially conservative, but technologically inclined.

Very, very good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a 2nd time I bought Asus ZenWatch2. I did not have a good experience with my first purchase. But with this one, it is a pleasure. The battery runs long(fast battery discharge on my first). Connection via WIFI is a definite plus. Sometimes watch gets disconnected from a phone for a couple of minutes(could not figure this one since watch and phone next to each other). Overall, very good watch. Design, look And price!

Great budget smartwatch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the Zenwatch 2 for a few weeks now and it is a good smartwatch. Right now it is my daily driver watch -- which for the type of work that I do -- the watch is holding up quite well. I'm also finding that due to Android wear, the Zenwatch is a bit more capable than my other smartwatch (a Samsung Gear Fit). The downsides to the Zenwatch are that it lacks a heart rate monitor -- but then again I rarely used it on the Gear Fit. The other issue is with Android Wear itself. When you use the WiFi syncing capabilities of the watch, it may cause excessive battery drain on the smartphone it is linked too. More importantly, if you start using WiFi/Cloud syncing capabilities but later decide to stop using the aforementioned capabilities -- the Zenwatch has to be factory reset. That's why I only gave this review four stars. Otherwise, the Zenwatch 2 is a good purchase for those who are interested in a solid, but economical smartwatch.

Nice smart watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to test the smart watch field. I seen a lot of reviews saying this was a very good watch for the price. It gives me the time, ability to see messages, and how many steps I have taken. It is a very good choice to start with versus a higher priced watch. I use with a Nexus 6. The band is the only thing that I don't really like. I could replace but it works. I thought it would be a cheap leather strap but it is a latch system. So far I am happy with this purchase.

Outstanding Value!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an Apple Watch and was not overly impressed, but it seemed to be the only game in town for an iPhone owner. That is no longer true! The ASUS Zenwatch 2 paired with Android Wear for iOS does everything I need ... Notifications of texts, emails, and calls. No it doesn't allow you to respond to them ... Yet. The display is gorgeous, battery life is good, and it's overall a very attractive unit. I'm on a learning curve with it, but that means it will only get better!

Exactly what I wanted and great Moto 360 upgrade!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the fact that this has a speaker and I can answer a call when the phone is in my pocket. The battery last easily all day where my Moto360 barely made it. The screen is nice and I was glad to get back to a rectangle device, I feel the scrolling is much easier and accurate vs the round screens. This watch is responsive and IMO underrated for the price. It does lack the heartrate, but honestly I never really used that on the Moto 360. I use the step counter though, and also happy to see I can get this wet without the fear of ruining it. I really like the leather band and clasp. It feels and looks like a classy band. It also feels smaller and not as huge as the LG and Huawei watch's and even my Moto 360. For half the price you get the same processor, great battery, speaker etc. I also used to have the Galaxy Gear 1 with a camera and speaker. The battery lasted for days and when I upgraded to the Moto 360 I missed the speaker and long lasting battery. It was so bad that I would find that I wouldn't even use or look at the watch for days on the Moto. Glad to say that that is not the case with the ASUS. I use it daily and feel this is how a watch should be and helps keep me organized.

Best value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from my old Pebble steel. Was a bit concerned about battery life but as long as you charge it every night, there should be no problems. I leave the ambient display on all the time. And the brightness is at the highest setting. Still 60% after an entire day.

Best watch, Best price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best smartwatch I've owned! It replaced a Samsung Gear watch that died. Unlike some other brands (Pebble), the display is large, bright, vibrant and can literaly be read across the room! There are so may cool watch faces I can't decide which is my favorite! Good thing I can change at any time. The email notifications which are received with a gentle vibration are easy to read, and you can accept or reject a call with the swipe of your finger on the smooth touchscreen. I'm still playing with all the other wonderful features. It looks classic and elegant, but the leather band is a bit stiff. I replaced mine with a black silicone rubber band which is very comfortable and still looks nice. At $150, this is a great buy. Kudos to Asus!

Great Intro to Android Wear
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great looking watch that gets you into the Android Wear ecosystem with at least $100 still in your pocket compared to most of the competition. If you don't need a heart rate monitor, the Zenwatch 2 is tough to beat.

Great Smartwatch - Great Price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Smartwatches right now range anywhere from $100-$400+ The Zenwatch 2 sits nicely at that $130-$200 range depending on your band style and configuration. I've been using this watch for about a month now and it's simply great! Expect it to deliver rich notifications from most of your apps straight to your wrist. You can even interact with a lot of them. For example you can respond to a text message (Hangouts, Facebook messenger, etc they should all work), see reminders and calendar events, track your steps and view how many you've taken, and interact with tons of other apps. You can also utilize some features of Google Now such as setting a reminder, setting a timer, and initiating a text message. Also very customizable, as it comes with dozens of watch faces pre-installed with the ability to create your own with Asus's Face Designer software. This watch is definitely worth your money and it's a great entry level Android Wear watch.
