Very easy to set up. Most important step is to make sure it has the most recent update. Update took less than 3mins to complete. Coverage has been fantastic and reaches outside to the back yard.

No issues. Great design, looks cool and has everything I need. User interface on app/on my computer is easy to use and tho I was skeptic-after a few months of using it-I've had no issues.

I've had these for nearly 18 months and haven't had any issues. My main node is in the basement with the modem and other two are on my next two levels - there are no dead spots in my 5000 square foot home and covers my outdoor Ring cameras as well! I have gig internet and hardwire as much as I can as no wireless is perfect. Ethernet backhaul is a huge plus! I separate the 2.4 and 5 GHz networks as I like to know exactly which is being used without opening the app and quickly switch if necessary. I've tried many routers and mesh systems in the past; these are the best that I've ever had!

Ever since needing a wireless home network, I've used a separate Modem and Router instead of leasing combo units from internet providers. I have always been a fan of Netgear and the Nighthawk products. I recently had to have a new line ran to my house due to my others being compromised. I also upgraded my speeds and was told I needed to upgrade my network to take full advantage. I was looking online, reading reviews about routers. When the Mesh systems came out years ago, I was skeptical, seeing people having problems. After speaking with a Best Buy Rep, he suggested these. I decided to try them. My house is 1400sq ft and these 3 mesh units are nice and compact, unlike my old night hawk. Install and setup took a bit of time but the directions were easy to follow using the QR code. I now have full 5G coverage in and outside around my home. Very pleased. The app is pretty simple to navigate and make changes or to just view and rename what devices are connected to which hub. I would recommend these to anyone.

I added these to my existing ASUS router to reach my nest cameras that were cutting out all the time. When these are working correctly, the cameras are able to record at full resolution. The downside is they seem to take turns disconnecting from my network and I have to reset and reconnect them each time.

I bought this set for my 3 story home (~3500sqft, each level ~1200sqft) and was under the impression that it'll be good for only the 2 stories above ground. Especially when I learned there's a newer generation released but not available for purchase yet. So I decided to get this set for temporary solution. To my surprise all 3 stories have full WIFI coverage including the corner of basement level. I've used many mesh systems from different brands, including the one from ASUS's own mesh using different routers, I'd say the ZenWIFI by far is the most stable, wide coverage and easy to setup system I've used.

I've had this product for 2.5 years. Sometimes it will run great with no issues. The second it decides that it doesn't want to run, it is nothing short of a headache. Resetting and trying to reconnect the main router and then trying to get the nodes to reconnect is very frustrating and time-consuming. The last 3 months it seem to be continuous and it doesn't want to stay connected and when you work from home that makes life even harder. Finally broke down and bought an entirely new Netgear system as the headache that this product continued to cause was no longer worth it.

Alright so I previously had a Synology RT2600AC router which while feature rich and performed well, it had one Achilles heel which was the wireless range. So I was looking to upgrade to a mesh wi-fi 6 system but was having a hard time on deciding which would be the best overall for my use case without breaking the bank. Asus announced this 3 pack mini version of their ZenWifi system and I waited a bit till any reviews came out and once they did I felt that the main negatives that were touched on in the reviews I read wouldn't be a big deal for me because I would connect these through an ethernet backhaul. Ah but how naïve I was to think that. So before I get to what I like about this system, let me point out the huge glaring issue this system has: The Wireless service is spotty at best losing connection to the internet several times a day and requiring a reboot. I have done extensive troubleshooting to try and isolate the issue, but at this point if it isn't a firmware issue it must be faulty hardware because no change in settings, or factory reset, or placement, or any other step I've tried to mitigate it has helped resolve this issue. The longest uptime I've had before losing internet connection and rebooting is 7 hours. SEVEN. HOURS. The worst part is even when the wireless network hasn't completely crashed sometimes it'll time out just long enough to make you think it did before finally working again. I've tried isolating the 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands by turning off the Smart Connect feature. I've attempted factory resets, and manually installing the latest firmware. I've tried moving the installation location of the satellite nodes, and I've tried setting the wireless channels to a set channel with low interference but no matter what I do these issues still continue to be an absolute thorn in my side. What I can promise you is that you have these great things to look forward to if you do decide to go with this setup: - Enjoy quality family discussion after your internet goes down causing virtual classroom, zoom, and other services to lose connection multiple times a day. - Having the failings of this mesh wifi system create a divide in your marriage because your significant other can't perform their work without internet. - The charming subdued aesthetics of these useless little squares of white plastic that will eventually be hurled into the garbage to prevent anyone else from dealing with the curse that this system is. If you don't believe me or any of the numerous other reviews and you feel like these issues won't affect YOUR setup then by all means go ahead and try this mesh system out for yourself. In an absolute ideal perfect lab test situation these things might work okay for some time, but even then I have a hard time believing these are capable of maintaining an internet connection and uptime longer than a single day. So for me, I wish I hadn't purchased this system and had instead spent more to get something better, or more reliable. But most importantly I wish these were sold anywhere other than Best Buy so I could have returned them under the standard 30 day return window instead of their joke of a return policy of 15 days without being a club member or whatever. For the things I like about these things, they were easy to setup with the app doing all the work while you wait for it to finish, the only thing that could be improved about the setup would be to have this system be paired together from the factory so that way you won't have to plug them all in the same room during setup and then move them to their final location after completing setup. Another good thing would be the web interface and the amount of settings that can be adjusted for your particular needs. However I believe these still have Firmware that is in BETA even after being updated to the latest Firmware as there are numerous bugs and issues including settings that don't function as they should, and in one case turning on Ethernet backhaul causes the satellite nodes to completely lose connection from the main router and requires a factory reset to be brought back online after another time pairing the 3 cubes again. Please safe yourself from the nightmare of owning this unreliable cash grab of a system, either spend more or wait until the market is more mature with more competitors and time for Assus to perhaps fix whatever issues are preventing this system from being a functional mesh wifi6 system.

We appreciate you sharing your feedback on this model. We're sorry to hear about the unfortunate experience you're having with the connection issue on this model. Please allow us to make your experience with ASUS a better one. We would recommend that you try changing the channel bandwidth of each band of 2.4 GHz to 20 MHz, and for 5GHz please select 60MHz. I originally purchased the Google mesh system and it was total garbage. after having the Google set replaced a couple of times in less than two months, I went for the Asus and have not had a single issue whatsoever. Not only does the Asus work flawlessly but the app for your phone and the software for the computer are so easy to learn and use that once you get to know them, they will allow you complete control over your Asus system.

Really does a great job making sure I have a good WiFi connection throughout a 3800 sq ft tri-level house. Problem is, about once every two weeks I have to move the satellite routers close to the main router (one plugged into my Cable Modem), and re-sync them.

Works better than expected. However, 4 stars since the UI is not that user friendly and I cannot direct which device connects to which node. (May be something that I am missing). Also, when the firmware is OOD they seem to stop working completely
