Easy to set up. Provides good coverage. No dedicated backhaul, so speeds are ok but not great. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced WiFi6 mesh solution, this will do the trick.

I went to the store ready to drop 500 bucks for a mesh network system, largely motivated by my desire to have my two TiVo Minis working in parts of the house that don’t have Ethernet. I saw this package on sale and could hardly believe it was also Wi-Fi 6 enabled. It was very easy to set up and I was able to plug in my TiVo Minis!

I purchased these to extend my current Wi-Fi router and they just do an ok job. Not as strong of a signal as I would prefer.

This mesh system with the ASUS ZEN system has changed my experience in wireless Internet. I have no dead zones and all under one wifi. Super easy to set up and puts out super fast uninterrupted strong wifi signal. Flawless streaming of movies in 4k and with running multiple devices at the same time.

An excellent router system with great speed, stability and firmware support. ASUS's AI Mesh support means this hardware will be useful long after you upgrade in the future. If this specific system doesn't fit your needs, I recommend looking at other ASUS offerings, such as the AX86u.

Two of the three worked great out of the box. The third seems to lose connection frequently. After a some calls to tech support, which was prompt and helpful, I got it to connect.

Helps my son with his gaming and we have had no glitches with HULU service since hooking this up. Would recommend getting the Geeks to come install it for you for the $99. It’s so worth it. Otherwise it causes a lot of hassle! Great buy and spreads our WiFi over 3 floors, including the basement!

VERY simple setup, and works great! I tested the signal strength in various locations in the house and it really keeps the signal strong throughout the house. It's also the latest Wifi 6 which is not obvious in the title. Bought one for a friend and one for myself.

I bought this to replace a powerful single router. Now the whole house plus lot are well covered. 2nd floor get stable and fast connection. Consider the price, I am Happy. Note I don't use advanced features yet, so no comments on them. The units are small, but not tiny.

Purchased this product to replace router and extender that were unable to cover 2000 sq.ft. home. Installation is simple, but I needed to reset the router and nodes twice to get a strong connection. Downloaded app required for setup. Only con I have is that it is not designed to mount on a wall.

The asus system was easy to plug in and get started and expanded my wifi coverage all through my house and yard. Works good no problems.

I exchanged the eero6 for this one ...considering the security came free and the browser-based controls. Set up was a breeze and the throughput was excellent all across. Happy customer. A day later I switched my ISP and went for a Giga Fiber connection ... and then it stopped working. I tried to resurrect this in vain...finally two of them were up and the third one would never change from red. I returned this and went for the eero6Plus...which is phenomenal .

works great. One of my concerns when purchasing was if you can connect this as 3 nodes through AiMesh. I have a different ASUS router as the main, and all three (Including the main) nodes of the ZenWiFi are my AiMesh nodes

I had to replace my Google Wifi due to one of the nodes was beginning to fail. When shopping for a replacement I came across the ASUS ZEN AX in the store and it caught my attention. I have always been a huge fan of ASUS because everything I have had from them in the past just works. The Best Buy store rep was very helpful and we chatted about all available options. The specs of this system met my needs so I made the purchase. Got home and setup was super simple and I was up and running in less than 30 minutes. Once I had each unit where I wanted them, I updated the firmware, and all units are showing a "Great Connection". I live in a 3500 sf home with three floors and have complete coverage throughout. While in my car my phone even connects to the network when I enter the driveway when returning home. So this gives me coverage on our outside deck and front porch with ease. I know it has only been a few days, but as of the time of this review I feel I made the right decision.

It seems to be a decent router, given two conditions: 1) you wire the satellites with Ethernet (it is two-channel, and without wired connection the satellites it uses one channel to connect to main router, leaving you without 5GHz network). That is fine, this was my plan from the start. 2) you don't use Guest network. That part is puzzling and I did not know about it before installing this, but the Guest network is limited to main router and satellites don't run it, despite having Guest network's "Sync to AiMesh Nodes" option set to "All". This looks like a dealbreaker for me, thinking about returning the mesh due to this. Other than that, it seems to be stable and provides reasonable coverage. I see the clients don't always connect to nearest nodes, and stick to the one they were close before, even if it is now the farthest one. Not sure if it is a big problem.

Does great. Traded in my arris wifi5 gigablast routers for these and works great. 800 mbps with gigablast service and modem with cat 6 cables.

I purchased this as a gift for my sister and her family. Although their internet had decent speeds, there were dead spots in her home. This has appeared to have done the trick. The setup couldn't have been easier.
