I purchased this because of the connection issues i had with the previous generation of the google nest. I jad 6 of the nest nodes and teplaced it with this asus kit. I have now just 3 nodes with asus and have much better coverage than before.

Best upgrade i have ever made to my home network, i have better coverage, better control of all the devices on my network. I had problems with coverage throughout my house, this has solved that problem.

Nope. Don't do it.
I'm returning these tomorrow after seven weeks of use. I have checked firmware updates and have performed restarts. I have one in a basement, another on our main floor and another in the garage. I have set it up so that the basement is the primary router, the one on our mainfloor is ethernet backhaul to the basement and the garage is wifi meshed from our mainfloor.
These devices get confused all the time. I have spent the last hour trying to keep my PC which is 10 feet away from our basement router on the basement router. It cannot and will not and neither will some of my apple devices. They connect to my mainfloor router which is over three times the distance away and a fraction of the signal strength - yet, even when I bind the devices, the router won't let them connect.
I gave up Ubiquiti's Amplifi Alien's for these. I'll be returning these first thing and finding another router set.

To resolve the unstable connection, please verify the PC or device connecting to the router is working properly and within range to the router, the router is within 30 feet to the ISP's modem, if not wired by a network cable, and ISP's internet service or connection is working properly or stable. Furthermore, check if the security credentials from your ISP matches the routers' credentials. Additionally, place the routers in a central location within your home, away from walls and obstructions, keep it elevated off the floor and away from electronic devices that may cause interference. Legacy devices may not work properly with WIFI6e, please check updates for these device. Also, try connecting this manually to either 2.4GHz or 5GHz.

This is a great mesh system. The through speed matches my Internet speed. The web interface is better than the app. Setup was a bit troublesome initially but after a hard reset the second attempt was smooth.

I bought this to replace a Netgear Orbi RBK50 system we've had for six years, a model that originally hit the market in 2016. In spite of all the years of engineering and technology improvements and going from a Wi-Fi 5 to 6e system, this had worse coverage and reliability than the system it replaced. I put the router and satellites in the same positions as the old system and while the performance was measurably better when reception was good, we had dead spots and low signal in areas where we never had issues with the Orbi, and even had one of the nodes drop off and lose sync and require a reset after a few days of use. This is a large house that I believe is on the more challenging end for even a mesh system, with the nodes spread fairly far apart and through several walls, but with the previous system providing years of reliable use without any issues with dead spots or nodes dropping off, I couldn't justify keeping this system when it immediately provided a worse experience than the one it replaced.

Excellent product. Initial implementation had devices updating firmware so it had taken a little longer to set up then intended. After set up, devices worked flawlessly, range is perfect and exactly what I needed. Asus has a new fan in their wireless products for life! Fantastic!

I was really wanting this product to work, mainly because of the design. It didn’t go that way. Long story short. Wifi signal would drop at random times. Held on to them for 10 days and decided to exchange for a different mesh system. Im glad I did. I went with the TP Link Deco BE11000 wifi7 system.

I'm happy with the speeds while it is working. The big problem I have with this is how unreliable it is. Constantly disconnecting and trying to re-establish connection between the units. Lose wifi even when in the same room as the unit that's hardwired in. From reading up more about these it sounds like this is a common problem.
