Excellent wifi with great features. The set up was a bit glitchy, but customer support helped me fix the problem. Since the purchase in April of 2025, three months, this has been rock solid with great wifi speeds.

If you live in a cement house, this is not for you. Living in a cement house is uncommon in the states, but it is the norm in the US colony of Puerto Rico. This device performs fairly well unless you are behind a concrete wall. Do all the routers perform bad behind cement/concrete walls? Not really. I had a WiFi 6 Linksys Velop router that performed much better and I stupidly replaced it with this "newer tech" WiFi 7 router.

I can not give this an honest review only because it woyld not link up to my apectrum modem. I tried 2 households and neither would work with the same type of modem. It worked flawlessly inline with the existing router and had amazing coverage but the whole point was to get rid of that old router. I gave it 5 stars because it really was great and i believe it is a spectrum issue. If you have spectrum be careful.

The BE5000 tripack has horrible connectivity amd range. My older AX units work so much better. I litterly pulled the plug in the BE5000 units. Using them is like the olf TP Link @rap. I will try the BE30000 to see if there is improvement amd write a review. DO NOT GET THESE!

after walking thru the set up 4 times and with customer support doing 2 of those with me, they determined that I need to return the item, only now I am past the return date. Oh funny story these state that I have no connection to the internet but when I use the old ones left over from the previous home owner, I was able to connect right away. Weird.

ASUS is an ISO certified company, as a result, all products go into a strict quality manufacturing standard. All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections that ensure each one is trouble-free, this is a random problem. If you're unable to connect to the internet, check if these routers are place in the center of the area you want to cover, avoid placing the router near metal objects, electronic devices or direct sunlight, position the router on a flat, hard surface and halfway between the floor and ceiling. Additionally, dense building materials, such as gypsum, concrete walls and planks can affect Wi-Fi signal penetration. Also, we
recommend updating the Mesh router firmware if it is running with an older version. Firmware is available for download at: https://www.asus.com/us/supportonly/zenwifi%20be5000/helpdesk_bios/. Additionally, check if the PC or device connecting to the routers is working properly and within range to the routers, the routers are within 30 feet to the ISP's modem, if not wired with a network cable, and ISP's internet service or connection is working properly or stable. Furthermore, legacy devices may not work properly with WIFI-7, please check updates for these devices. Also, try connecting this manually to either 2.4GHz or 5GHz. Setup was fast and simple, and it just plain works! I live in a 4,000 sqft house, split across multiple levels. Getting WiFi to work in here is not easy, but the ASUS ZenWiFi mesh system has everyone up and running at very acceptable speeds. Great product, I would highly recommend.

I continue to have to restart all three of the routers. Constantly loses connection and has been more of a hassle than anything. Probably going to something else soon if something doesn’t change.

To resolve the unstable connection, please verify the PC or device connecting to the routers is working properly and within range to the routers, the routers are within 30 feet to the ISP's modem, if not wired by a network cable, and ISP's internet service or connection is working properly or stable. Additionally, check if the security credential of the routers matches with your ISP's modem/gateway security informations. This is hands down the worst router ive had to setup and just ended up returning it. Multiple problems during setup, the main issue being that the main node(router) wouldnt get internet access from spectrum modem. Was on the phone with spectrum for over an hour and they said it wasnt their fault then i called asus support for over an hour and eventuslly after having to clone my mac address onto the main node it finally got internet. After this happened one of the other nodes decided to stop responding so i did a system restart and of course back to square one with no internet. I that point just packed up the box and returned it. I wouldnt reccomend this product to anyone, please save yourself the time and massive headache.

These are very easy to set up and the coverage and connectability is very close to perfect. I like the frint end coverage that comes with the units. The size and color blend well with a number of setups. The boost in coverage going from 6e to 7 is very noticable.

It was much harder than my old Orbi systems to set up. I understand it is not difficult but I kind of expect plug and play at this point. Make sure you update firmware before setup and direct ethernet in to clone MAC address. It was very unstable and my old two node Orbi had much better coverage. My house is older and is made mostly of brick so I figured three nodes would be an upgrade, it was not. Stability issues, then completely dropping service overnight multiple times. And yes I had Xfinity come out there were absolutely no problems on their end or my modem just the router. I swapped 3 different modem setups and same issues occurred. Might be just an Xfinity with this router issue but it was a terrible experience and will stay away from ASUS routers.
