NO way to mute the answer message!!

NO WAY TO MUTE THE ANSWERING MESSAGE!!! This drives me NUTS. Why do I want to listen to my own voice message? If I had known that this was the case I would not have purchased this phone. Very very annoyed.

Great phone , thick instructions book

It took me a while to figure it out and preprogram all her stuff into it. I like it , it works well, maybe make a less complex instructions book for elderly people to use.
