We as a family still have a REAL land line (ie copper wire). When there is a power outage guess what stops working. Internet, Cell phone towers and VOIP telephones. But not landlines. The phone company has it's own power supply so you can still make calls. So if you want a modern land line phone those DOES NOT need an AC adapter (yup-the phone is useless in a blackout) then this is the phone for you. I am far from being a Luddite; I just want to be able to make phone calls no matter what the conditions

Needed a replacement phone and this fit the bill. Plenty of features. Only down side is that it has batteries, instead of power source.

Was exactly what I was looking for. I have had nothing but trouble with cordless phones and a corded phone is perfect. This one is nice looking and works well with no problems whatsoever. I would highly recommend this phone.

I originally mistaken ordered the wrong phone. Very easy process to exchange for correct phone. It helped that user manual was available on the Best Buy site. When correct phone arrived, Easy & fast installation. Good quality. Fair price. Glad I got the phone from Best Buy !

Bought this to replace an outdated wall phone. Bought it for the features such as large easy to read buttons and speaker phone. When a call is received the sound has background static noise that makes me switch to a cordless phone from a different room.

Phone requires batteries for most features instead of using power from the phone line.

Works great. Wish light flashes to let you know that you have a voice mail. I called AT&T about it and they said they stopped that feature. Why? No-one knows. Also, would be great if display lit up.

it works pretty much as expected. However I have found out that if the speaker volume is turned up too loud at actually cuts out when you are speaking to others. Other than that everything is as expected

Great telephone with speaker button that does not need AC power to work in case of power outage. There is battery option if you want to use the caller-id panel. The only flaw is you cannot pick up the call by pressing the speaker button, and need to pick up the handset first, then press speaker if you want the call to be on speaker.

This is a well-designed and easy to use corded telephone that has all of the typical modern features and works nicely in a professional office setting.

I bought this phone for a senior. She loves the large numbers and she can hear on calls very clearly.

Good unit for kitchen wall phone, bit my only complain is that the display at Max is hard to read. It is not very well lit, need to get close to see called ID info

Product was assembled incorrectly. The receiver kept falling out of the cradle. There is a small square piece with a tab in the cradle; the tab holds the receiver in place. That square piece was installed upside down. Fortunately, I had an old phone to compare the new one. Otherwise, I would have returned it.

A great corded speakerphone that does not need to be plugged in. Good to have a back-up phone that will still work in case of a power outage!

This phone is great. The numbers are large so they are easy to see and use. The digital print where you see caller ID is a little small.

Works fine. We like to have a back-up simple land line phone. This has more features than we need. It was easy to install and pretty easy to configure. (I had to read the date instructions twice.)

Very good so far, just purchased..Need more time of use to be more accurate, but as of now, working very well....
