I like the phone the price is good and they had it in stock. I was without a phone for 1 night. So i bought this one. The only thing i don't like about it is the vol. button is to close to the power button other then that its a good phone.

I like this mobile very much. It is low price and simple to use.

Simple low cost smartphone. Has removable battery and headphone jack (wish these features existed today!). However cannot update past Android 6

With this phone you get what you pay for. It's an inexpensive phone and it operates as one. There's only 8gb of memory on the phone itself. The phone has a slot for a memory card, but it doesn't help much. I put a 64gb SD card in my phone, but it doesn't allow you to make that the primary storage location. This resulted in me constantly having to manually transfer everything to my memory card. Literally everyday it would tell me that my phone memory was full and I would have to go through my files and clear cache on all apps and move apps to my memory card (apps that had already been moved to my SD card) in order to even access my pictures. With only 8gb of memory on the phone itself (most of which was already taken up by irremovable pre-installed apps) the phone filled up fast. Like I said, you get what you pay for with this phone. I bought this phone when my higher end android broke and I needed something inexpensive to replace it while I was in a financial bind. It got the job done. The memory issue was my biggest problem.

I can only speak to the capabilities of this phone on a Wi-Fi network (e.g. using the internet, and apps), or as a camera, not it's capability as a phone, so I'm only reviewing that right now. I should start by saying I think that it's pretty cool that you can get a half decent smart phone for roughly $20 or so, period. And it works okay, too. Disclaimer: this is my second smartphone (and only the second one I have ever owned), and though my previous smartphone (a Droid) was a much older model than this one (by a good couple of years) it actually seemed a bit snappier and more stable than this one--strange, considering that technology supposedly moves pretty fast or supposedly becomes obsolete pretty quickly (though it also cost $80 more--not insignificant--and I think it may have had better hardware specs like a better processor, e.g. quad core with more Hz, and it also was not a "prepaid" phone). When I say that it's not as snappy or stable, I mean I was actually quite a bit surprised how often this little guy crashes/freezes when I'm using apps (e.g. Snapchat, Pandora). Pretty frequently. And I have to restart it. Other negatives: the camera is honestly somewhat abysmal for use on Snapchat, for some reason. Comes through super dark. Guess I shouldn't have expected a super hi-def cam on a $20 phone (it is serviceable for taking pics for practical purposes). Not a super camera to start obviously (also no flashes built in on either forward or selfie-facing), but Snapchat degrades the quality of the camera to where it's even worse. Also, something else to note- there is hardly any free memory available (probably less than 1GB or less than quarter of what is advertised...but don't quote me on that) after you account for all of the pre-installed stuff on the phone (such is true for any phone, I hear- that the advertised memory is not what's actually available). Bear that in mind. It's nice you can put an SD card in it. That of course makes it less economical- not sure what those run, but I had one lying around. I wonder if some of the issues with my particular phone freezing more often than I would like stem from the fact that there is something wrong with the SIM card in my phone- it seems that all of the time I get a message "that I should not remove the SIM card while the phone is on", or something to that effect (as if the card were loose and is popping in and out). This seems to have occurred less frequently as time has gone on. (Wonder if it's something wrong with my individual phone?) Let's see what else can I say that's positive now that I've listed some negatives... (I mean other than it being $20 and quite serviceable!!!)... The audio quality seems pretty decent to me when wearing headphones. The Wi-Fi signal seems pretty strong on it (like it has a good antenna or receptor on it, compared to other devices I've had around). It seems pretty sturdy for an all plastic phone. I like the small size- fits easily in your palm. That could be a drawback to some. I put down that I would recommend this to a friend because it's inexpensive, but then again I might try something else the next time around if I had $20-$30 to spend on a similar device. It's a decent backup up phone to have Incase something happens to main one. Didn't realize it had no flash, until started using it, however can't complain for the price. Despite that it does what's needed. Also even though it says 8gb internal storage, only see little over 3gb available, which is a bit low. Despite formatting and OS taking up a bit it's just a bit annoying for that to take up over 4gb. Another issue is the usual annoying bloat that at&t is notorious for plaguing phones with. Thankfully most can be disabled except for address book. Can be removed via rooting, however not sure if a root method is available for this phone.

Bought it just for messaging and youtube for my kid to use. It does the job, and I don't really have to worry about it breaking as it was very inexpensive when I bought it. The phone is laggy at times, but overall my kid is okay with it.

Good: the price, removable sim card, charges fast, small fits in pocket. bad: The touch screen can be a bit annoying, but it's not that big a deal.

I purchased online, pickup in store, good phone for the money I paid. Able to unlock it directly from AT&T, so I can use it on Tmobile. The touch screen is a bit unstable, sometimes sensitive, sometimes not. NO LED flash for the camera. very limited storage for the phone, less than 4GB after all other APP come with the phone. I would recommend to friends if the price remain low.

I needed an android phone for my daughter. I found this one as having great price/performance ratio. It has quite a large screen and good quality. The RAM memory is 1Mb which is not so great, but for my daughter it is OK, since she doesn't use many applications. Overall memory is 8Gb which can be extended via memory card slot. The processor is not very slow and allows you to use many applications without loosing the speed. Overall, quite good phone for the price.

This Alcatel Ideal is a great phone for its price is one of the best you can buy, its camera is very decent, the lighting is very good, the screen is very good quality and shines Well, the quality of construction is very good, have android 5.1 and have much application, I will buy it from my dad and he is very delighted, 9.0 / 10 is my note for this phone.

The sale price was excellent. I submitted an unlock request, and AT&T sent me the unlock code! It seems the unlock request does not work anymore for go phones.

Seems to work well enough for my in-law to operate it without throwing it across the room. She's happy with it and can text and take pictures so she's happy.

Bought this for a teenage family member. Worked great until she lost it, Worth it for the price great phone for teenagers.

Nce phone that is easy enough. Bought this for my elderly father, to replace an outdated flip-phone, to get him the benefit of things like Google Maps (in case he needs directions), voice commands (in case he does not have his glasses to see), etc.... Seems to work well and he finds it easy enough to use. Affordable too!
