Customers are positive about the price, ease of use, battery life, and size of the Alcatel Ideal 4G LTE Prepaid Cell Phone. They appreciate that it is affordable, user-friendly, has a long battery life, and is conveniently sized. Good phone but bad screen

The phone works fine and does what it is supposed to for a low budget phone. I just can't get over the poor quality screen. The color gets all washed out even at the smallest off angle view. It does make a good backup phone if you are worried about your top model phone getting damaged while on a work site or amusement part or mountain biking. Just pop your SIM into this and off you go. Get back home and pop the SIM back in your good phone and stick this phone in your drawer until needed again.

Using this as a backup. Impressed with the features for the price paid. Browsing speed is decent..GPS navigation is good and the battery holds pretty well for normal daily use. Recommend this phone if you are on a tight budget.

Good basic smartphone that does all that I expect or need. Pros: Inexpensive, fully functional, Google maps are great for travel Cons: Slower response than a flagship phone (good enough), camera - colors don't pop, battery - needs to be charged daily with moderate use or every second day with minimal use.

My bigger ,other phone was damaged in a fall and I neeed a phone right away because I am a realtor. The Best Buy associate suggested this phone to buy to use until my other new phone was sent to me, pluse I had $15 in Best Buy credits. Great suggestion so I was not down any communication time!!

A very good phone for the price. The size and the screen size is exactly what I was looking for. Doesn't have to be a pocket breaker for the same price and functions of a pocket breaker. This phone rocks!!!

At $15 on sale you can't go wrong.I don't want to say "you get what you pay for" because you really are getting more than that. It's a great phone to give to a grandparent or someone who has ATT but doesn't have a smartphone. Just make sure to disable all the bloatware apps.

These phone was a great gift for my mother because she only really uses it for Facebook, texting, and phone calls so she didn't need a great camera because this one is only 5 megapixels. I also got it for a very low price on Black Friday. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

I am still experiencing a learning curve because I previously used a flip phone (my wife calls it an idiot phone). This works fine and I'm sure it will be better when the operator (me) knows more.

This phone works well, picks up signal better than my last galaxy. Storage is limited and screen has no high definition. I knew this before I bought it is great for my daughter's first phone

Needed a device for the Samsung trade in offer. Samsung was giving at least $200 on any trade in. In comes this little fella. $14.99. Submitted the device and rebate was successfully process. I even got to keep the charger and cable. Bingo! #winning

I got this phone while on vacation because my phone broke and I needed something right away since I was traveling. Though the screen is small, (I'm use to 5.5" and bigger. My motto is go big or go home!), this is a good starter smart phone with most of the features of the more expensive higher models and will get you by in the event you break your other device. Having android 5.1.1 it doesn't have the latest system and I am not sure if it is even upgradable to a newer version, but it will get you buy and I am not going to worry about it because I plan to replace it with either the Samsung S8 plus or iPhone 8 plus.

Bought this for my daughter to use when I switched to ATT. Seems to have all the necessary features without all the high end pricing. Daughter is happy with it. She is 12 and doesn't get it all the time 24/7. Not a bad deal.

Inadequate speaker volume for calls. Very little memory and AT&T bloatware takes up too much space. Slow. In general, it's a phone that works in a pinch but it sucks long term.

Go this phone for 9 dollars for thanksgiving deal, and have been very happy with this purchase. This Android phone with all features is cheaper than most non smart phones. I was able to add a 64 GB microSD card and do all the things I could do with my older $200+ smartphone. I could use wifif, 4G bluetooth, tethering, maps, whatsapp and all the other android apps. The camera does not have a great resolution and does not have flash, but for the price that is expected. It would be a great idea for AT&T customers to buy this phone as a backup, in case they have issues with their original phones.
