Customers are saying

Customers love the LG Phoenix 2 for its affordable price, great camera quality, and ease of use. Many appreciate the large screen size and good battery life, along with the expandable storage. However, some find the placement of the power button on the back inconvenient and note that the phone has limited RAM. The phone's design and lightweight feel are also frequently praised.

This is a great starter phone for someone wanting to try all the neat things Android Nougat has for its user. I needed a backup phone until I can get the phone I really want to use and this one is fine. It's very sleek and feels very comfortable in my hands and I was able to place my SIM card with my current postpaid cellular plan with AT&T and set the phone up seamlessly. Phone came with Android Marshmallow but soon updated to Android Nougat and was performing close to one of those $400+ phones, although there was a lag here and there I was able to manage doing my normal activities on this phone and only needed to charge it 36 hours after checking my emails, playing 3 different games, talking, texting and web surfing and shopping. It did heat up a little when I have multiple apps open and when it was installing a few updates, but all in all it does what it needs to do for me, plus I didn't have to break the bank.

I bought this phone over the Phoenix 3 because it had better specs and was $10 cheaper. Works great with the Freedompop SIM. Middle grade camera buy I knew that. Battery lasts for days if used occasionally. Seems stupid to have a newer model with terrible specs compared to the previous year. Do your own research, I did.

I was getting really tired of my Windows phone, especially since that replaced an HTC One (M7). I have had several Android phones and I love the user friendly interface. Windows was killing me! I like Windows on the computer...not for the phone! The LG Phoenix 2 is great with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. And yes, as many have stated in the reviews, this is not an 8 GB phone...It is a 16 GB phone!! So, Bonus!! I think after all the system data, you end up with about 9 GB. Plus there is an SD slot to add more storage, up to 32 GB, if that isn't enough. The camera takes good pictures, both front and rear, but it is still a cell phone camera so I don't expect to have DSLR quality!! Several reviewers say this is a good backup phone, but I say it is good for a primary phone and that is what I use it as!!

Amazing smartphone: - 16 GB storage - NFC - Android pay - the camera flash is powerful - the picture quality - the screen resolution and the 720p. The phone design is cool and attractive, it deserves five stars for sure.

it is good phone and best price. The display has good brightness and 1280x720 HD resolution. In direct bright light it is harder to see display but I only had the brightness set at 50%. But even the iPhone has this problem in bright light. The wifi is good. Browsing is fast. Even with all the apps I still have 9 GB of space left for my stuff. This is a 16GB phone. The only issue I have with this phone is the audio volume is just slightly not loud enough. If your speaking to someone while shopping in Meijers or a Mall it is kind of hard to hear the person your talking too with all the background noise. If your going to spend 90% of your time surfing or texting (like me) and 10% talking, definitely purchase this phone. If your going to spend 90% of your time talking you need to test this phone out for your self before committing.

Excellent phone device, The nice part of the AT&T go phones are that they can be used on a postpaid account if you don't want to purchase a high end phone for $28 dollars a month for years and years. Perfect starter phone with a nice camera and lots of speed. It does come preinstalled with a ton of bloatware (uber, direct tv, plenti, at&t, and so on) out of the box it has about 7gb remaining which isnt huge.. kinda a disappointment but thats why the cost of the phone is so low, they sell the space on the device. Overall excellent speedy phone for the price!

I you're looking for an inexpensive Android phone with all the features you'd expect in a modern phone, THIS IS IT. It's unlocked, runs on Android 6, and is small enough to fit in pockets and belt holsters where larger phones would be too big. I've found that LG provides the best value for the price in most items they make and this is just another example. Even the camera takes great photos. Stop looking, you've found IT!

Though ram (1.5gigs) is slightly lower than peer phones available in Market but camera, screen resolution is very good in the price of less than $50 smart phone.

I love this product - Excellent price for money, provides almost all features of an expensive android smartphone, camera quality is nice, I use my phone a lot for online browsing, emails, calls, videos, other apps and the battery lasts for an entire day without needing frequent charging. I already own a Samsung S6 and an Iphone, but I will most definitely buy more of this product, if i get a good discount for future use.

Bought this during the holidays for a great price. You seriously can't do much better than this. The quality is decent. it's fast enough, and the removable battery and microsd slot are a nice touch. Phone is lightweight and thin, but it doesn't feel cheap. This feels more like a $70-100 phone. I would've liked if the phone had more RAM.

I bought this phone for someone who has never used a smartphone before. They love it! It's easy to use. Easy to see everything on it, as well. It has great memory, 16 GB, instead of 8 GB, as it was stated. Wow ! What a nice surprise. Great phone, all around!

The LG Phoenix 2 is a great cheap phone. Very good processor, camera, operating system., GPS and display for the price. Only downsides are the inability to move apps to Sd card and relatively low volume. Amazing what a $60 phone can do.

Expected to get a decent budget phone, however was a bit surprised with it surpassing my expectations. It's a well designed phone with some little features that makes it looks better, such as screen been slightly curved at the corners which didn't pick it up until took off the screen cover and started using it. Also the software features are very good such as the double tap to turn off and on the screen. Then again those are typically standard features from lg, which is good to get even on a phone this cheap. The screen is sharp for the resolution and looks good, however the camera could be a bit better since it show grainy in low light. Also it's 16gb with a bit over 9gb left after formatting, OS and stock apps, as others have mentioned despite listing info stating 8gb. Also as with all phones from at&t it has their notorious bloatware. It's a great device to have as a backup or even a main phone depending on the needs of each person.
