16gb but runs android 8. Great phone if you don't overload it with apps. Would get another if i could. does group messaging unlike my lg phone i had. would highly recommend to others. just like my samsung tablet. Price was quite reasonable and under $100. The best phone at&t has for pay as you go phones.

Samsung got it right with this phone I had be having trouble with the last two phones I purchased but this one seems to be working just fine.

Smaller than my previous ZTE Bladespark, this bad boy is faster and lighter for my preference. Yes, I like a bigger screen phones but I also want performance and this phone brought that to the table. Camera is comparable to the 13MP on the other phone so, if you like take pictures and video a lot, you'll be satisfied. In all, this phone has met all my expectations.

So far, I have been quite happy with this phone. Its reception is a little better than my previous Samsung Galaxy phone, and it's easy to navigate. I've had no serious issues yet that would make me upset with my purchase. There's been only one time, through no fault of my own, that my typing was a little of when I was on Twitter. The cameras are pretty decent. The amount of storage is great for someone who doesn't want a ton of apps or media on your phone.

I must say that have a hard time picking out new phones as I do IT (information technology), and I must say that this phone works really good for the money I paid for it. 49.99 is definitely an amazing price for this phone. It works really well, no lag when moving around the menus. This device is extremely good for people who are getting their first smartphone. It has android Pie 9.0 and 16GB of storage 9Gb is available out of the box. Though this number can be increased by simply uninstalling the bloatware that comes installed on this device. The screen is only 540p but it looks good without too much glare, and it gets bright too. The only thing I'm looking at now is some (not all) games play at a lower resolution and I cannot figure out why. But the battery works good and the 4g LTE speeds are great. I never loose signal. The shipping was fast arriving in less than 48 hours from Michigan to Ohio. The speakers are fairly loud not the loudest I have seen but they do a good job. The phone does not get extremely hot like other devices. I have seen reviews stating that the menus are black and white and cannot be changed this is simply not true. The menus are very easy to navigate and the menus, sounds, and homepages can be changed and personalized easily. The default keyboard is also replaceable by simply downloading a new one from the Google Play store. Overall I do reccomend this phone to anyone who uses at&t and does not want to spend too much on an exceptional device.

Bought the phone for my mother and she seems to like it . Takes good pictures. Good size. The price was pretty decent. Wouldn't mind if it cost a little bit less.It's set up pretty easy so my mother can navigate through the phone.

Always feel good about Samsung Galaxy's. Great battery and camera. Easy to use. Very reliable. If Apple is out of my price range, I always go for this as far as Android. No other Androids stand up to this line.

We got it for my 13 year old who did not display much interest in having a phone, but now that he has it he uses it a lot. Even though it was advertised as a pre-paid phone, we had no trouble getting it set up on our ATT plan with the rest of the family. Not sure how reliable and long-lasting it will be, but at this price it is essentially disposable. Memory is miniscule, so we will likely need to upgrade before too long.

Light weight. Easy to use. Able to download the apps I use. Camera works best in natural lighting but is ok with lights.

Bought the Samsung Galaxy J2 for my Grandma because, she is not the most technological person. Much to my surprise it has a lot of features & was easy to set-up. Its also very affordable. I paid approximately 49.00 which I feel is a great deal. Its a not top of the line phone, but it’s really good at the basics. Would recommend.

I've learned over the past few years that Samsung phones are really great phones. This phone was an exchange and I love it. I will only get Samsung now. Its size is perfect and all the features are amazing. Also the battery life is really good.

Its got a great camera, plenty of storage, and is easy to use.

I dropped my Samsung Galaxy S2 cracking the glass. It was cheaper to replace the phone with the J2 model than repair or replace the cracked glass. The S2 still worked. I asked about activating the new phone and the Best Buy representative said they could not do it since in-store was closed, curbside only. He should or might have told me that swapping my AT&T sim card from the S2 with the J2 did not require activation. Buying the phone and stopping at the nearby AT&T store answered that as a yes. The phone is compact and seems reliable with a few variations from the S2. I do not like the new Chatbots feature but have yet been unable to discover a way to disable or remove them. I did have to export and import my 29 contacts since I did not want to retype all of them in.

like the size, great camera, comes with a lot of apps the ones I didn't need i just uninstalled. Still learning and adapting since different from previous haven't tested all capabilities out.

mind you this isn't the galaxy your friends pay 200-300 bucks for power and speed wise.. but compared to most phones in that 50-100 range this is a solid little model.. and ive owned and tried a good number that last 10-20 years.. unless I was looking to spend 150+ and get the new hotness i'd buy again in a heartbeat..

Not high-end but this phone manages to deliver good performance. Battery life is another big plus point.

I got this as a birthday gift for my son. He loves it. It plays all the games he wants, battery lasts a while and the sound quality is great. Great first phone.
