I hope this phone lasts longer than the previous one I purchased (same model)

I would have liked to have the ringer louder, however.

Yes, we have a landline to carry our DSL and for the telemarketers to troll (guys, we're still on the Do Not Call Registry, btw). Old phone gave up the ghost, hence new phone. Buttons on the outside of the handset are awkward; can inadvertently press buttons just by holding it.

Just wanted a bare bones basic phone for my kitchen. This works fine. If you don't care about the digital screen, leave the battery out, it's not necessary.

Needed to install a landline for a very elderly person in an assisted living building. This was the best I could find for such a very low price. Good volume and easy to see keypad.

Very noisy, if there is a volume control for listening I haven't found it and people tell me they can't hear me.

My mother is visually impaired and this phone is a better phone then most.

Only bad thing is that handset requires batteries. But great sound.

Phone works good for landline phone. Used mostly for power outages

I ordered this phone because something in the kitchen was interfering with the wireless phones. Problem solved AND there is a volume control which my husband really appreciates.

This is one of the last landline phones I could find. I am so happy with it, I use it all the time. Great for those who have not forgotten landline phones.

Works as it should. Needed a "plug in" phone to test some analog fax lines. Had no other way except to purchase an old school phone. Works great for what I needed it...

When I purchased the phone online, I also purchased a 25' cord to go with it that was suggested by the store. After getting the phone and plugging it in, I noticed that the phone does not light up, so one is unable to see who is calling. When I tried to change the cord out to a 25' cord, so that you would be able to move further with it. I was unable to do so due to the cord that comes with the phone being in a place where one is unable to remove the cord. For those two reason, I do not recommend this phone.

so far so good , but it difficult to hang this on wall.

This was purchased as an extra phone and so far it seems to be working great and I am happy with this purchase

This is a little more than a basic phone, I needed a land line that was not wireless with little more than basic features. this does the job needed outstanding with no fuss.

When the power goes out you can call and receicve communications from pge and vice verse..,

I purchased this for our home phone and it seems to be doing ok.

My old phone was driving me crazy because it wouldn't hang up(the tab was broken off. I am so glad that I got this new phone. It is a lot less aggravation in my life.

So far an excellent choice for a corded land line phone
