It’s a good hurricane phone in case the lights (or actually WHEN) the lights go out in a hurricane. At least you have a functioning landline.

This is a corded standard no frills phone. Good for the extra phone of power outages where the phone line have power but the electricity is off. Many times in an outage the face wireless phones will not work. maybe not even the base station. A simple phone like this one can be used because the phone service is separately powered. The is also good for a rarely use out out let that may need a phone or is in an area where there is a plug and no wireless reach.

was looking for just a phone, a simple phone for the kitchen. No high tech stuff. Works well, few adjustments. Love it. Great!

Bought for a senior with hearing issues. The phone itself is loud enough but not the ringer. Had to buy a separate ringing device to be heard.

I bought this phone because I needed a line powered phone when the power goes out. it is a good basic phone and it has caller ID too. This will provide phone service if the phone lines are working but your electrical power is out.

Everyone should have one in case the cell towers are not effective or working, especially in an emergency

We got the phone to test phone and fax lines at clients. Lots of our clients have VOIP providers for their Fax, and always blame the fax machine when there is a problem. This handset saved us so much time and money in troubleshooting and down time! Great quality!

We are in the process of moving and I needed something to use with our Ooma while we were making the transition. It works fine. It has all of the functions that you expect in a basic corded phone. Seems fully functional, easy to use.

Works great in a kitchen. I wish the little nub to hold the handset was larger. Not many phones like this exist anymore.
