Wanted a land line in case cell service went down, this phone has everything we needed at a great price. I would recommend this to anyone.

Nothing special, it's a phone. It can be a desk phone or a wall phone. If you need a basic landline phone, this is as basic as it gets. Calls have been clear. Cons: Requires batteries for the CID/Memory functions to work, these will not receive power from your line.

Simple and easy to install and use as a back up at the office.

It’s important to have a corded phone to plug into your landline when the power goes out. You won’t lose contact with the outside world that way, especially if you don’t own a cell phone.

Great phone for a good price. Needed a land line phone to trouble shoot a no dial tone trouble. All i had were cordless phones. This phone allowed me to test my jacks and isolate the trouble.

ALthough the plastic is lighter,finding this trimline at such a fantastic price was the perfect solution for an additional phone line in the spare room. Love it!

needed a remote phone with no special charistics that would be tethered to its base so it could not be lost. amazing how that is hardly available anymore. this one is, and is reasonably priced. works so far!!!

I bought two of these phones for my mother (she's 92) and so far she has had no problems. It does have some features that she won't use, but overall I think it's a great phone for a land-line based system.

In a world of cordless phones, it is good to have at least one "corded" phone in the house. The phone is also a good source for my fax machine.
