Becomes great with a few additions
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall a good case, but as others have said, a little flimsy. The black color was smooth and looked nice. It stores a lot of movies in a decent amount of space. The middle row only holds CD's though. Directions were easy to follow and assemble. I'm glad I read other reviews first. When I bought the unit, I also stopped by a hardware store and bought some L-brackets and connectors. The extra brackets and the wall braces have made it a very solid unit that doesn't move, tilt, or slide around at all. Just make sure the screws you use aren't to long AND drill pilot holes for any screws!! I did it by myself, it's a one person project and with the extra bracing took me about 45 minutes to assemble and install. With extra bracing it's a good unit.

Great for someone who has alot of dvd's.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have over 1,000 dvd's and I needed a shelf that held alot of dvd's. So I bought one shelf to see what it would hold and how hard it was to put together. It took me about 1 hour to put together. It wasn't too hard to put together. It is a little cheaply made, but good for the money. So I bought a second shelf a few day's later, because I liked the first shelf.

Lots of space for media.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for all my music and movies and it seemed to have ample room. It was fairly easy to assemble, the longest part of the process was installing the backer panels( lots of screws). It MUST be attached to the wall or in my opinion it will topple over.My only complaint is the connection of the top to the bottom (very flimsy). The backer panels do no not overlap the seam in the center to reinforce it either.Overall a nice looking shelf.

Great Shelf.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.People Are On here reviewing the product that i dont think the majority of them bought. its a great shelf, granted the assembly process can be a bit on the downside of things. seems flimsy at first but once back board is on its holds pretty firm.. ATTENTION ITS NOT DESIGNED TO BE A MIDDLE OF THE ROOM SHELF IT IS A WALL HUGGER AND HAS WALL BRACKETS FOR A REASON.. The Pros: Great Durability Once Against Wall And Wall Mount Screwed In Holds A Great Amount Of Movies. Great Color-Blends With Anything. Affordable The Cons: The Very First Shelf Can Only Hold Cds Nothing Bigger Then A Cd Size Case Hassle Putting Together But Once First Part Is Up Second Is The Same. Dvds DO Stick Out A Bit. But A Movie Collector Will Know It Allows Us To Grab Them With Ease. Other Then That This Product Is Amazing And Im In love With It.. Couldn't Find One That Held Over 600 Movies With Out Paying Crazy Prices. Target Had One For $99 And Only Held 200 Movies Blahh.. Smae Price Better Quality GO GET ONE! 9.5/10 (Cause Of Put Together)

Great rack!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent media shelf. I used it to store my Blu-ray’s as it holds a lot. It didn’t take long to assemble, and it is put together in two pieces. Make sure when you put the backing on, that it doesn’t stick up over the edge, or the two pieces will not fit in place correctly. It will be a two person job when you have to attach them, as the unit is over 50 lbs. once assembled, make sure to anchor it to the wall, as it is tippy without the anchor. It looks great and I love having my movies in alphabetical order.

Lots of storage!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This unit provides lots of storage for all kinds of media. We have VHS, DVD, CD's and other software stored. It has organized all our media! The only thing is that it needs to be anchored or else it tips over. It is made of particle board, wish it was wood.

Good DVD Tower
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the largest DVD tower I have found. Slightly annoying to put together, but easily done with two people. You will have to secure it to the wall because it's not the sturdiest structure. Very happy with the final product.

Effective shelving

Great product with a slight modification
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent, sleek, simple shelving unit for all major media types. The only issue is, and it's a big one, is the wood itself is very brittle and cheap. The shelf WILL crack and shift during a step in the directions where you have to lift it upright. This puts tons of pressure on a joint that is just held with dowels. There is a solution, however. Head to your local hardware store and buy 2 T- shaped brackets. Screw those in the back where the two halves connect. Now you can lift it into place with no issues (if you're careful). It still puts lots of pressure on the joint, but it's dissipated significantly by the T- bracket. With a T bracket, this is easily a 5 star product.

Great Design Great Look
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been adding my collection of movies and dvds and needed someplace to store them in a nice way. This product met my needs and it functions great but I did not give it the highest mark because of a few problems. First there could be better directions because I placed on of the braces on backwards and did not know it until the next step because of not looking at next diagram for insight. Next the two parts could be better designed because they are flimsy unless you mount to the wall. Manufacture could have solved this with a few longer screws or additional wood pc as brace. Finally the backing is secured on by screws but I have seen similar more expensive products use finishing screws. This is much easier than the screws provided. Minor stuff but thought you should know

Shelves for a movie buff!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product was easy to assemble and aesthetically pleasing. The shelves offered a compact way to organize my films. The unit itself is a tad bit fragile, however becomes sturdy when secured to the wall. All in all a great purchase!

Great for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this shelf for DVDs/Blu Rays and it works very well. The color and design is nice, and it looks good against the wall. A few things to note: the shelves are not quite as long as a DVD, so you'll notice they stick out and are not fully resting on the shelf. I felt worried they may be more prone to falling, but no issues. Also, the very center row is smaller, so it wont fit DVDs vertically. Lastly, its not all that stable by itself, so if you have a lot of movies definitely use the provided attachments to the wall. Overall works well and not too expensive.

Good Movie/Display Rack, Especially for Collectors
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second time I've purchased one of these media racks. I'll admit it's a tad flimsy - it definitely needs to be attached to the wall. This being said this is the best relatively inexpensive movie storage/display rack you can buy. I own lots of Steelbooks and other collectible movie sets, along with a few funko-pops and other collectibles - this display rack fits the bill. Just a tip -- don't plan on filling this rack up to the absolute max it that it can hold. Leave some room to properly display some of your collectible items. I think this helps your collection, along with rack, to look more aesthetically pleasing in your space. Initially when I bought my first one, I packed it full of every blu-ray, DVD, and video game I owned. Displayed in my living room it kind of became an eyesore. I ended up removing some of the movies I didn't feel needed displaying (old video games and DVDs) so I could make space to properly display some of my finer additions. Think of it as a display rack instead of a storage cabinet. I also added a couple overhead lights to the very top of the unit so you can see this thing in action at night. Cheers!

Need two people to assemble
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the size and quantity it holds. I would have liked the shelves to be an inch or two deeper, but my dvds stay in so it’s ok for what I need. The product comes with wall anchors which it needs. If you fill the shelves without the anchors, the top leans forward quite a bit. It puts together in two halves that you attach together, so you need two people to do that. I read in other reviews there was problems with hole size, but this one was perfect, everything fit together beautifully.

Good budget way to get a lot of storage
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great, cheap way to get a lot of media storage. It is a typical pressboard construction that you would expect in this price range. I came undamaged, went together easily and was sturdy enough to move against the wall. It is not super sturdy on its own (narrow and tall), but once loaded up, placed against the wall, and attached with the safety brackets it looks good and is plenty supportive. Not sure it would survive multiple moves over time without disassembly, but it serves its purpose.

Holds a lot of CDs and DVDs
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Once assembled the unit has good capacity for CDs and DVDs. It is a bit difficult to assemble and it is made of particle board, so it won't have great longevity. Also being made of particle board, it is pretty heavy. It is awkward as well. You will need a means of anchoring it, so it doesn't tip over.

You get what you pay for
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the most part, this item is housing all my dvds. The material it’s made out of isnt the best. The instructions are easy. Be careful connecting the two halves and standing it up because I nearly destroyed mines from it wanting to fall apart. Be sure to mount it to the wall

Ok, not as pictured
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to replace a wire shelving unit. For the price, as I got it on sale, it was still a little dissapointed as it was not as easy to put together nor sturdy. It comes with anchors to drill in to the wall so it can be more firm. The back piece took a long time to assemble as it had so many screws and it is not hard sturdy wood. I guess it does the job to store movies, just wish it was better quality.

Great shelf for storing a ton of media!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This shelf is great for anyone who collects movies or games or both! Eight shelves with three sections each. Each section holds on average for me, 22 games/blurays, so around 66 per shelf. The top row is shorter but holds CDs, Dreamcast, Playstation jewel cases perfectly. It has a very slim profile as well to keep your collection close to the wall and leave a ton of your room in your family room, game room or whatever. Good price for the size. Takes a bit to build, but it is an easy build overall.
