    Great Product

this product offers tons of storage and high style at a great price. There are some thin parts, but I was careful not to break any during the assembly. Once assembled, I was very pleased with the overall rigidness of the unit. I also used the included wall anchor to make sure it stayed in place. I really love the carbon fibre look back with the black sides! Very High Tech! Read the instructions and take your time putting this together. You will be rewarded with an awesome media storage unit that really looks great and holds everything. I love it!

This product is very poorly made with cheap materials. More times then not when putting this together the "pre drilled" holes were not there. When screwing in the screws to get the basis of this shelf together the wood was cracking and coming apart. We got it almost all put together and realized that also the DVDs hang over the front of the shelf. We have to return it basically put together and frustrated because there was another error to the making of this. The wood part to screw the screws into was finished black so screwing In the black background was almost impossible.

Discontinued by Atlantic, no support from Best Buy

As I was assembling the stand, one of the side panels split under its own weight. The local Best Buy refused to swap out only the panel, and I had already broken down the packaging for recycling the night before, so I could not return it. Upon contacting Atlantic, they said this style is discontinued, and Best Buy owns all remaining units and parts. They replaced with a different, larger stand, which doesn't fit in the space I have available. Atlantic was a pleasure to deal with by phone, but contacting them by email resulted in radio silence. I will think twice before buying furniture from Best Buy again.

I bought this as a Deal of the Day, and when I attempted to assemble it, the cheapness shone through. The worst part is that the screw-like things that are supposed to lock onto the grommets don't actually lock on. Still, I managed to use the lower half of this to hold some DVDs and Blu-ray discs, using my wall as the back. Just trying to put the two halves together is bound to create a disaster, since they're held only by the screw-like things that don't work, which leads to the unit collapsing if you try to place the top half on the bottom half. If I'd paid full price for this I'd be really, really mad.

The shelving is a useful addition to my apartment, but it took two of us four hours to put it together. I may be inept, but he isn’t. We attached it to the wall without the back panel so that the wall color would show through, which looks nice. Added reason: adding the back panel involved 48 fasteners! So it became even more attractive to skip it. Fastening the unit to the wall at a corner gave it the rigidity it needed so that the back panel was unnecessary. I would only recommend to someone who likes the frustration of building this type of furniture.

Challenging to build because you put the base on and have to flip it over to put the back on (which causes the shelves to fall out). some of the pieces were not marked so check that each piece is matched up to the paired piece. Instructions could be a lot better so prepare for a little frustration when assembling. Lots of storage but the shelves are not deep. Recommend for corner with two walls supporting the entire unit. NOTE: DVDs will stick out about 1" over the shelf they are on and on the top shelf the top of the unit is very small so the movies stick out about 3". I tried to load a picture but couldn't.

I needed a new cabinet for my expanding collection of Blu-rays and console games, this was a great replacement. Holds all kinds of items included boxed PC software. Quality materials, everything fit together as it should, no missing parts or missing hardware. Stands taller than what I had, looks much more substantial and stands without any concern about shelves bowing or the cabinet tipping over. I checked out a number of cabinets online and couldn't find anything that matched the price and build. Was very pleased to find this in stock at a local BB store. You won't be disappointed.

This is a temporarily furniture for me so I will trash it when I'll move from my actual place but the truth is... this is a real piece of garbage. The laminate shelves are so fragile that you can broke them without doing anything wrong. The system to assemble the top and bottom together is totally inadequate and the poor accuracy of the differente screws makes it not secure to assemble. I will not buy this product

I read the other reviews before I purchased this for my grandson. It said a novice could put it together in 45 min. We are not novices and it took us 3 hours. It is not sturdy so we anchored it to the wall and made sure it was attached to studs. My grandson likes it because it will hold all of his dvds but if I had to do it over again I wouldn’t. I wish they had something that was a lot sturdier. It looks okay but I don’t know how long it will last.

Once assembled the tower is fine. Assembly of the bottom half of the tower were missing (page 3 of instructions, steps 5 thru 8 were blank) had to assemble, then disassemble, then re-assemble, because bottom half wouldn't match up with top half. I was able to finally able to get it all together and am satisfied with it, but it would have been easier with page 3 of the instructions, I was putting this together late at night so there was no calling for help. Once again, when I finally got the thing together, I was satisfied.

Not worth the cost or time to assemble. Terrible, awful, bad instructions that skips steps that could befuddle a first time DIYer. The backing was the worst part as it attaches with screws instead of nails but there are no predrilled holes. The middle shelves aren't affixed to unit, and while I didn't think anything of it at first, they do slide around a little. I really don't care for the unit after assembly but I've already put it together and don't see taking it apart to return.

Overall, a good looking DVD shelf with lots of capacity. However, it consists of lots of very thin shelves made of poor quality recycled wooden material (not a solid wood or even plywood). They are extremely easy to accidentally break or damage. Given that you have to use five gazillions of screws and bolts to set it up, the risk is way too high. The only well made part there is the back wall imitating carbon fiber sheet and looking pretty good. If this shelf was made of plywood, it could be a great product. Given the price, the manufacturer could do much better.

I went against my good judgement and didn't listen to the reviews I read. This product had promise until I was assembling it. It's assembled in two pieces which isn't a problem except it's cheap particleboard and it breaks really easy. I thought Bestbuy would carry better quality products that reflect what kind of products they sell. This piece is cheaper than Walmart furniture. Do yourself a favor and avoid this product.

This is a good media cabinet case. It gets the job done obviously however there are some things that I don't like. While building it, the cabinet feels cheap, fragile like its going to break in half if you're not careful. The shelves are not adjustable so there's no way to make room for taller or shorter cases. I do like how the shelves are recessed so that your blurays and videogames, etc stick out for easy acess. Overall it's an ok cabinet, could be better for the price but the next model up from this is $100 and I did not want to spend that much on a cabinet.

This shelf is amazing and perfect for almost all of our movies. My only concern and the only reason this did not get 5 stars is because of the potential of this thing to wobble. We have it as far against the wall as possible, just be sure no family members or pets will bump into this thing as ours fell completely over right after we purchased it from one of our kiddos bumping it a bit. It does not take much. Besides that, love this shelf!

It looks great for starters, easy to assemble and is worth the price if you need a place to store all your disks or even toys and trinkets like myself. Only flaw is that it sways when I grab a movie from the shelves. I didn't want to drill any holes in the wall in case I decided to move the shelf to a different part of the room but I quickly fixed the problem with some inexpensive command strips.

This is a good shelf, but I stop short of considering it great. The only major problem is have is that fastening the backing board was difficult to do perfectly. The top piece on my shelf sticks out just slightly in a couple spots. It's a minor concern on appearance, but I worry that it might come loose at some point because of how I had to attach it. I wonder (and hope) it was maybe just a tiny flaw on my particular unit. I also find the backing board to be entirely too fragile. A bit of the corner broke off when I was assembling the unit.

Saw this at the store for $51 and loved the look and storage capacity so I bought it immediately. Instructions aren't the greatest but I was able to build it pretty easily but once I was done I noticed the top half was leaning quite a bit so I screwed the back in and screwed it to the wall and it still leaned very bad, so I took it off the wall and it instantly fell on me. The plastic peg that connects the two pieces is just too short and can't hold the weight. I took it back right away, do not buy.

I had recently purchased the biggest version of these from Best Buy and thought it was great and was looking for a slightly smaller one for another room so I thought this would be perfect, but it was a considerably different piece of junk. This one assembles differently and requires a lot of cam locks of which many broke and many broke holes in the wood as well. I tried contacting the manufacturer to at least get replacement cam locks, but they were non-responsive. Don't buy this piece of junk.

not difficult to assemble if you've ever purchased any flat pack ikea product. it is what you expect of particle board furniture. we picked this unit up for additional dvd storage after we bought a smaller one from this brand. we overestimated our size needs, which is better than running out of room again. the 420 dvd size claims a bit of wall real estate as expected. no frills dvd/bluray storage, it gets them stored. if you count how many dvds you have theres probably a unit that can accommodate.
