Price is good, shelf isn't fancy but works for holding a lot of movies/games. Probably a good idea to secure it to the wall-included hardware or otherwise. Wasn't hard to put together but did take a while, putting on the back surface was the worst part with as many screws you have to put in.

Much sturdier than expected, the shelves are mostly held together with screws instead of pegs and cam screws like many units. The only downside is one shelf is set to only hold cds, and the middle where the two parts of the unit connect is the mentioned pegs and cam screws, which could be sturdier. Overall a fantastic unit that works very well, once mounted to the wall.

This is is not a well built item. Multiple screws fell out after assembly. I'm Hoping after it is full of DVDs it doesn't fall apart.

This can work if you have some woodworking skills.

Well there weren't very many options for a cabinet that holds 400+ DVDs for under $150. There were some other, more expensive cabinets that I preferred which had better customer ratings, but all of them were online only. And for reasons unknown, none of these could be shipped to a best buy location. The only option is to have it shipped to your home and pay 40-60 dollars for shipping. That defeats the purpose for me so I settled on this Atlantic Elitel, despite the bad reviews. Assembly took about an hour and some parts of it required 2 people. Putting this together went better than I expected. There was only one holdup about halfway through the process: 2 screw holes weren't drilled correctly. The screws could not be tightened, so I redrilled the holes and used some longer screws. I also damaged a screw hole myself just from lifting this thing against the wall. Very cheap product. Finally, with this thing fully assembled, it can still be flimsy, so you must be very careful with it. And you should definitely use the wall anchor kit, because if this thing fell over, you would have several holes to redrill at the least.

This is a temporarily furniture for me so I'll trash it when I'll move from my actual place but the truth is... this is a real piece of garbage. The laminate shelves are so fragile that you can broke them without doing anything wrong. The system to assemble the top and bottom together is totally inadequate and the poor accuracy of the differente screws makes it not secure to assemble. I'll not buy this product

Hard to assemble. Not as tall as previous shelves were. The alignment of the back is difficult. Compressed wood splits where screws go in.

Not worth the cost or time to assemble. Terrible, awful, bad instructions that skips steps that could befuddle a first time DIYer. The backing was the worst part as it attaches with screws instead of nails but there are no predrilled holes. The middle shelves aren't affixed to unit, and while I didn't think anything of it at first, they do slide around a little. I really don't care for the unit after assembly but I've already put it together and don't see taking it apart to return.

Worst piece of pre-fab furniture I ever bought. Flimsy materials and poor construction. Four of the pre-drilled screw holes were too big for the screws provided. This unit is highly overpriced at $80 and would still be at $30. Do not buy this! Best Buy shouldn't carry something so poorly made and overpriced.

This product is very poorly made with cheap materials. More times then not when putting this together the "pre drilled" holes were not there. When screwing in the screws to get the basis of this shelf together the wood was cracking and coming apart. We got it almost all put together and realized that also the DVDs hang over the front of the shelf. We have to return it basically put together and frustrated because there was another error to the making of this. The wood part to screw the screws into was finished black so screwing In the black background was almost impossible.

Overall, a good looking DVD shelf with lots of capacity. However, it consists of lots of very thin shelves made of poor quality recycled wooden material (not a solid wood or even plywood). They are extremely easy to accidentally break or damage. Given that you have to use five gazillions of screws and bolts to set it up, the risk is way too high. The only well made part there is the back wall imitating carbon fiber sheet and looking pretty good. If this shelf was made of plywood, it could be a great product. Given the price, the manufacturer could do much better.

This is without a doubt, the worst piece of furniture I've purchased. One of the pieces broke in half at a weak point while assembling. There was a slot where a shelf would slide in, and it snapped there while I was just holding the pieces together for assembly. The particle board used in this product is not dense at all. While installing the back cover, there weren't any pre drilled holes for screws. It made installation a pain. The back cover was also so weak, one drop on the carpet would chip the edges. Its basically a thick piece of cardboard. After I've finally managed to put it together, it was very flimsy. Everything about this product screams cheap! . Consider it temporary furniture made for dorm rooms. Throw it away at the end of the semester.
