Initial one seem to have defects, but the Best Buy technician handled everything and got me a replacement which was installed Thursday. DeJuan is the geek squad technician that diagnosed my problem, which was complicated. From this point for I always request one because he is such a knowledgeable, professional.

This adapter seems to have fixed the Sony's ARC problem with a Marantz receiver. DeJuan did our troubleshooting. He also tweaked the Marantz settings for our Sonos in-ceilng speakers to perfection. We truly have the home theater experience.
