I love my hearing aids so far. They are definitely a good buy. It takes a little time getting used to them but it is worth it. Very easy to use and instructions are clear.

I paid extra for expedited shipping and the package still arrived later than the free delivery date. When I realized it wouldn’t make it in time for my trip, I tried to cancel with both Best Buy and FedEx, and neither of them could help me. I even had someone go to pick it up while I was away and the package wasn’t there. I never even got to use the product. Honestly, I regret not ordering from Amazon — at least they handle situations like this. No info about the item.

The Atom Pro 2 isn't flashy it just works. The controls are intuitive, and switching between modes is seamless. They've become an essential part of my day.

I ordered a pair of these. They never worked properly. I contacted audie and they sent me another pair. The second pair was worse than the first out of four hearing aids. We only had one that worked and didn't even work well. I have never been refunded or even offered one! Do not purchase this product!! I've never ever been ripped off so badly as a consumer! I made sure everyone on Facebook knows not to buy this product! The least they could have done was refund me. If I could have rated it a zero I would have!

I've tried a number of entry level, Over The Counter (OTC) hearing aids over the years and found most extremely lacking for my particular hearing loss until now. The Audien Atom Pro 2 OTC Hearing Aids are reasonably priced and worked very well for me. The Atom Pro 2 aids are a very simple and basic design. There is no app to install or monitor, no self hearing tests, no Bluetooth, only one button per unit, no setup, no updating.... The simplicity of this design is a great positive for me, aside from playing with the fit and learning the simple controls there is no learning curve, no real setup, these guys are ready to go! There is one button on each hearing aid. The aids are not paired and do not communicate with each other so each one is individually controlled and easily adjusted to the requirement of each ear. The single button on each aid is controlled with either a short touch or a long touch. The short touch makes a "beep" sound. Each short touch advances the volume up one of the 5 preset levels. After reaching the maximum level, another short touch returns to the minimum level, starting over. The default level is 3 out of the 5. The long touch makes a "boop" sound. Each long touch scrolls through the 4 environmental modes. The modes are "Conversation", "Restaurant", "TV" and "Outdoor". The default Conversation Mode works fine for me in most normal situations. The TV mode is quite helpful for me as well, I am aware of hearing consonants that I normally don't hear. The TV mode really helps me understand the British shows we like on public TV. I haven't really needed to use the Outdoor mode other than to briefly see what it is (a bit louder to me). The Restaurant mode has not really helped me in a noisy environment. To me, Restaurant mode just makes everything louder and doesn't seem to filter out the background noise. The reason I first sought hearing aids was to help tune out the background noise so that I could follow conversations in noisy environments like restaurants. To be fair, the several expensive, audiologist provided aids I have used, while providing some filtration, have never given me a result that satisfies my desire to hear/understand well in a noisy environment either. Apparently, I have very small ear canals. I usually have to special order extra small or children's sized domes for my hearing aids. While there is an assortment of dome sizes included, I would be more comfortable in a smaller size. The size of the aids does not fall into the almost invisible category (at least on me). The Atom Pro 2 comes in a compact charging case (really pocket sized, unlike my other rechargeable ones). The charging case also has UV sterilization lights that work to sanitize while the aids are charging. The aids are claimed to last 24 hours per charge. I rarely wear them more than 8 hours so I can't comment. The charging case, as I understand it, will charge the aids as it recharges, the aids should work for up to 24 hours and when depleted be able to be returned to the unplugged charging case for 3 more cycles. This should be great for traveling. Also included are a cleaning brush, wax guard replacements and tool, charging transformer and cable. I review these as affordable, basic, low cost hearing aids. While they do not have the bells and whistles (complications?) of the expensive aids, they work quite well for me and I recommend giving them a try. These are the first basic aids I have tried that I actually find useful.

Hearing loss (even partial loss) should not be as stressful as it used to be many years ago. I am so thankful that nowadays there are so many options out there to bring you back to enjoying your life, family and friends again. I was thankful enough to be introduced to Audien Atom Pro 2 OTC Hearing Aids. These hearing aids definitely made my life easier and I do not have to miss out on any social event or my kid's activities. Let me share a few of my findings after I was able to experience these hearing aids for a few weeks now. 1. The Fit - To me one of the most important things about any hearing aids are the right fit and since most of us will be wearing these for a prolonged time, comfortable fit in my ears is a MUST! These Audien Atom Pro 2 aids felt just right the minute I put them on. The silicon ear fittings are soft enough to hold it in like any ear phone. Now, since the anatomy of each person's ear is different and individual, your results may vary, however I think the design of these aids have been perfected over time. 2. Sound Quality - I have no complaints here at all, with 5 levels of volume control and noise cancelation, that is all I needed. The sound is crystal clear! If you are in a noisy environment, the hearing mode is adjusted flawlessly (speech amplification in such environments worked great for me as well). 3. Battery Life - easily rechargeable, the aids last a long time, I have never run into a situation where I needed more battery life during the day. Before I go to bed, I put them back in the charging cradle and I am all set for the next day. Nice feature of the charging cradle is UV (ultraviolet) cleaning sanitation built into it, it may sound gimmicky but still a nice thing to have. 4. Affordable! I was going to put it as my number one point originally, but I know it is extremely important for many people to know that these Audien Atom Pro 2 Aids are extremely competitive and will not rob your bank! I would advise anyone looking for hearing aids now to give this brand a try (you can thank me later!) I have been pretty pleased with these aids, its design and comfort and will look forward to other generations and improvements of the aids.

I have a moderate hearing loss in my right ear and I was hopeful that these would be helpful in conversations in the car with my family. They did amplify certain things like the turn signal and road noise but they did not help with conversations. People either sounded like they were yelling or my hearing was worse because the device was in my ear. In my opinion, it was a total bust and I returned the device.

Right off the bat I feel it's important to make clear that over the counter hearing aids like the Atom Pro 2 are not going to deliver the exact same experience you'd get with a prescription device. Hearing loss is complicated and can come in a variety of different forms - and prescribed hearing aids can be tailored to address a wide range of different scenarios and presentations. The Atom Pro 2 takes a much simpler one-size-fits most approach, hoping to cover only the most common form of hearing loss. Assuming that describes you, I think you might be rather impressed by the value proposition on display here. They're shockingly light weight, offer very good battery life, and come with a very wide range of cushions to allow for a good fit. Figuring out exactly how to seat them in a way that provides decent audio without having them fall out can be a bit of a trick, and there's certainly an adjustment period, but overall they're quite effective at amplifying ambient sound with minimal delay and good quality. While they weren't the greatest fit in my case for all day use (where the problem is more an inability to hear certain frequency ranges on one side) they were nonetheless helpful for intermittent use in cases such as trying to talk with someone in a noisier environment. There is definitely a bit of a learning period, though, and a few sacrifices have been made for their size. One of the most obvious is the control scheme. Pretty much everything is controlled through a single button that you either tap or hold, which can be somewhat annoying as it means certain common tasks like mode switches can be fairly cumbersome. Additionally each hearing aid is controlled individually - which makes sense but also means you're likely going to be getting used to looking like you're putting both fingers in your ears. I don't know how common an issue this is with OTC hearing aids, but it seems like a bit of a missed opportunity compared to using an app.

Audien Hearing's Atom Pro 2 Rechargeable In-Ear Hearing Aids are nicely designed and seem very well constructed. When they arrived, the instructions highly suggested a 3-4 week adjustment period to get used to them as follows: Week 1 Wear the Audien Atom Pro 2 hearing aids 1-2 hours daily Week 2 Wear the Audien Atom Pro 2 hearing Aids 3-4 hours daily Week 3 Wear the Audien Atom Pro 2 hearing Aids 6+ hours daily By the 3rd to 4th week your ears should have adjusted to hearing sound coming to them through the two built-in microphones and by trying different settings, you should have been able to find your comfort level using and hearing with the Atom Pro 2s. The Audien Atom Pro 2 In-Ear Flesh-Toned Hearing Aids come with: 1 pair of in-ear hearing aids 2 pair of small, medium and large size ear domes (6 in addition to the ones that come installed with the hearing aids 1 White charging and cleaning case 1 USB-C charging cord 1 Power wall adapter 1 Was guard replacement tool and was cleaner 1 Cleaning brush 24 Hour battery life 2 In-ear microphones 45-Day trial period A-2 Sound chip Lifetime Support To increase or decrease the sound volume on the Atom Pro 2's, simply press the button on each hearing aid 1-5 pushes until you find a sound level you like. When touching the hearing aids while they are in your ears, you may experience feedback/screeching sounds. This normal. Once you have adjusted them and adapted to them, you should not hear any feedback. After my adapting to the Atom Pro 2's, I am really beginning to enjoy wearing them. They fit well, enhance my hearing greatly and seem to well designed and built.

I'm not quite sure that the Audien Atom Pro 2 OTC Hearing aids are for me. I do like the overall size of the aids (small and discreet), and it was nice that they came fully charged -- I could get right to my test drive. What I have found from the Pro 2s is that in the lowest volume setting, theyre too loud for me. Maybe that's just something I need to get used to. Audien mentions in their literature, that there's a 'getting used to' period and that I need to give my brain time to adjust. Hmm. I'm willing to give it a go over the next (suggested) 3 weeks, increasing the hours of use per day. We shall see. Getting down to specifics, Audien says that these aids aren't necessarily designed to be only Left or Right. They also encourage the user to try different angles. Honestly, I found this a bit frustrating. I know we each have differences in our physical make-up, but there are certain things we all have in common -- like the general angle of the left and right ear canals. But I played around until I was able to find the position with the least feedback. The position of the volume control makes it so that as you're installing the bud into your ear canal, you also change the volume. This can be frustrating, as well. The charging case and included cable and wall charger is a nice feature. The set also comes with extra silicone 'domes' for a custom fit...but they're not labeled! You almost need a ruler to tell one size from the other! Like I said, it's going take me some time, so the jury's still out on this one. For the cost, it's probably worth the try. Just keep an eye on your final return date, if you know what I mean.

Many of us who require hearing aids will remember the Yugo. It didn’t cost much, but everything about it screamed cheap. These Audien hearing aids are very inexpensive but, unlike the Yugo, they do not scream cheap. To understand if a low cost OTC hearing aid will like this work for you, you need to understand what you’ll be getting. There’s no ability to customize it to your hearing profile, no manual adjustments for bass and treble, no connection to your phone. There are just volume and mode settings. And for someone with minor hearing loss and a limited budget, that’s probably enough to help. The Audien Atom Pro 2 hearing aids appear to be solidly built. The charging case resembles those that come with earbuds, and the hearing aids themselves are well-constructed with high quality materials. The fit and finish is excellent. They fit in the ear canal securely and are reasonably sized. Because they are rechargeable, they are decidedly larger than in-ear canal units that use replaceable batteries, a technical tradeoff that will work for some people, not others. The beige color makes them less noticeable – but only if you have light skin. The small case holds three additional charges and includes UV sanitizing to clean them after every use (this will not eliminate the need to replace the filter and clean the microphone). Powered by the Audien A2 chip, the Atom Pro 2 has excellent sound quality and no noticeable processing delays. These two things alone make them easier to live with than some units costing twice as much. There are five volume levels, individually adjusted on each hearing aid, and four listening modes that allow you to adjust for different background noise levels. Any hearing aid in this price range is going to be very different than a high-end, multi-thousand dollar hearing aid set. Still, if you have simple requirements and a limited budget, a low-cost aid like this may fit the bill. And for this price point, the Atom Pro 2 is an excellent choice.
