The Audian Atom Pro 2 is a compact OTC hearing aid. It comes with 6 pairs of ear domes to customize and get the correct fit for your ear. After getting the best fit for you, and once inserting in your ear, it is very unobtrusive. Once charged, battery life lasts up to 24 hours, however, I am too old to test the 24 hr limit. BUT the "charging/carrying" case is also a power bank that gives up to 3 additional charges! Not only does the carrying case has extra charges, it also has a UV light for cleaning and killing bacteria. Unfortunately, it does not have Bluetooth. The adjustment button is decently sized for access, it works with short presses and long presses. Short press to adjust the volume/amplification, there are 5 levels. Long press to adjust the 4 modes. The Audian Atom Pro 2 works well for low to moderate hearing loss for an OTC hearing aid. It does have a neat little antenna looking stalk. However, it is not an antenna, but it is used to assist in removing the hearing aid. Once it is tuned/customized for you, it works really well. The Audian Atom Pro 2 is a good value compared to the cost of a prescription hearing aid. I like the unobtrusive size, customizability, and the UV charging case!

I wasn’t sure if I was going to like using these or not because I am pretty particular about my ears. It comes from having severe psoriasis & eczema which actually is in my ears too (super weird, I know). And so with that my ears can get raw, chafed & hurt-like a lot. But these caused me no issues at all. Initial Unboxing & Setup I am a smaller person & so I had to switch up to the smallest tips but they fit really well. I had everything done and was using the hearing aids within a few minutes. Super easy. I wish everything was this easy. Rating: 5/5 First Impressions I, like one of my sons, have cholesteatomas & bone loss which will one day leaving me completely deaf. I also have ADHD & suffer from an auditory processing disorder where listening to music, which I absolutely love to do, is difficult because I cannot understand what they are saying. It also correlates to until I am used to how someone’s voice sounds, their rhythm of speech, etc. I cannot truly understand what they are saying until I am used to hearing them speak. That means any time we are watching something on the TV I have to have the subtitles on. These hearing aids didn’t fully resolve this issue for me, however, what it did do was allow me to more easily focus on the conversation/thing I was trying to hear and it made listening to my family, music, movies, and the TV in general just insanely easier. Huge & amazing plus for me! Rating: 5/5 Charging Charging is a breeze with the included cabling. Also, I found that I was able to use the hearing aids for 3 days without having to charge them again-sweet! Rating: 5/5 Fit These fit insanely well & people can’t even tell I am wearing them, and for someone that is younger, like I am, this is a huge plus. That’s 5 stars for me! Rating: 5/5 Cleaning The cleaning is super easy because the case takes care of it for you-woohoo! That said with my issues I mentioned previously I have to clean them with some cotton swabs because my skin oozes but it’s super easy. Rating: 5/5 Conclusion I absolutely love these hearing aids. I am going to be looking at getting my son a pair of these. Although he will probably want a pair that has Bluetooth so he can connect it to his phone, gaming consoles & gaming computer too. My biggest issue hearing is tinnitus. This stems from military life. I find having background noise lessens the severity. I decided to try these hearing aids out to see if they could help with my hearing in any way. There are just certain tones I can not hear. These aids are very comfortable. Finding the right ear cup was not an issue. The charger has built in blue light for disinfecting the earbuds. Controls make perfect sense. Single tap of the button increases the volume. Long tap changes the usage from conversation, to TV, to crowded area, etc. The volume ranges from 1 to 5, with the default being 3. I found the default was just too loud for my taste. So I went with volume 1. They say to wear them for an hour to two hours a day for the first week, then gradually increase. It takes time to get use to hearing the new sounds. For me, I have had them about 1 week. They seem to be too loud for my taste, even at volume level 1. As an example, I went to go in our safe. It is the old fashioned with a knob and handle. I could hear the tumblers as I turned the dial. I did not need to look at the safe to open it as I heard when the tumblers fell. I think that is just hearing a little too much. A second example is hearing my own voice when I speak. When I use a headset for work, I need to keep one ear out so I don't hear my voice in my head as I speak. I feel like I am in a tunnel. I get that same feeling when using these aids. Both issues I had were more because I can probably hear better than what these are designed for. Someone needing the hearing aid, these will be fantastic for them. I am just not quite there yet. For now, I will deal with my hearing until it gets to the point I really need the aid to hear. At least I can still use the "I didn't hear you" excuse to get out of jams when my wife asked me to do something and I forgot. :D

I was ecstatic to find out the Aiden Atom Pro 2 Hearing aids do not require an app to use. I simply charged them, selected the correct ear bud (the soft rubber tip that goes in your ear) for my ears and put them in my ears. Could not have been easier! The package contains five ear buds in varying sizes. I participated in a week long presentation for work in a good sized conference room and at least 30 people. I was very pleasantly surprised with hearing support the Atom Pro 2 hearing aids delivered. I didn’t have to ask anyone to repeat their question! These hearing aids are so simple, it’s genius. They have four separate modes; Conversation, Restaurant, TV and Outdoor. I used the Conversation mode during the presentation. At the hotel I used the TV mode and was able to keep the TV at half the volume I would have set it at without the Aiden Hearing aids. In addition to the TV being set at a lower volume I hear the words clearly with the hearing aids. If the hearing aids are out of their carrying case they are on. Easy! One button to push to change volume. Same button held a few seconds longer changes mode. Easy! A few additional points: • The charging case also disinfects! • Included accessories are replacement wax guards and cleaning brush • The instructions are well written, thorough and helpful • No app With other hearing aids that have an app I would always get a phone call in the middle of an important meeting. What a distraction. The Aiden Atom Pro 2 hearing aids are not connected to the app so I don’t have to worry about inappropriate distractions from my phone. The website allows you to order accessories. For me, an extra charging case is great so I can keep it my computer bag. Definitely recommend these Aiden Atom Pro 2 hearing aids.

The Audien Pro 2 Over The Counter hearing aids are nice and small and rechargeable so you don’t have to replace batteries. The charging case is nice to carry them for traveling and the are comfortable. There are multiple listening modes and multiple volume levels. The button that is used to set these is small and difficult to find sometimes when in my ear. I found it easier to push the button before putting them in my ear by just holding them close enough to hear the beeps or boops. The hearing aid part didn’t work well for me, though. It sounds more like an amplifier in my ears even st the lowest volume and amplifies all noises around me like my keystrokes when I work, my steps when I walk and other common noises. I was not able to move them around in my ears enough to get past this issue. They also give a squeal which is feedback until I get them moved around in my ears to a better position. I guess that part is normal for a hearing aid. I really like them but wish they could assist my hearing without picking up so much background noise. Possible if they had anotver even lower volume it would help.

In the box are the hearing aids inside of the charging case, charging cord and plug, 2 sets of silicone buds (small, medium, large), cleaning tool, wax trap sticks, and user instruction manual and warranty information. (The instruction manual mentions included wax traps but I didn’t receive those. On one of the sets of silicone buds there were wax traps on the buds.) First Impression - I really like the charging case. There is a bright light charging indicator and the hearing aids nest properly inside of the case. Also there is a UV light for cleaning on the inside as well. Disclaimer - I have small ears and my hearing is mild-moderate on the left and moderate-severe on the right. I can still hear without aids but it is very hard for me to understand low conversations and listen to the television at low volumes. Installation - Installation was a little tricky for me as I have small ears, so I had to grip the aids and then try to push them in. I didn’t like that the volume button is on the top of the hearing aid, as I kept changing the settings when entering the aid into my ear. With more use, I was able to press the button less as I got the aid into my ear but I still press the button at least once. Sound - The sound is good. I found that the 3rd setting was perfect for me. If you are wearing the aids with small children or animals, beware, the aids pick up all of the sounds in the room. I mainly used the aids to watch television and it was a good experience until someone opens or closes a door. I don’t have small children but I have nephews that visit often and I ended up needing to take them out while they were playing because their sounds and other surrounding sounds were a little overwhelming, even after changing the sound to a lower setting. I would like to mention that I only got feedback once as I learned how to keep the aids from ringing. I was able to wear them in bed and I was surprised that I didn’t get any feedback when laying my head a certain way. Battery - I have worn the aids for at least 6-8 hours daily and I have lost only one battery light, which is amazing. I have to charge my prescribed aids every 2 days. I also want to mention that one of aids did go out on me (needed to charge) and I don’t recall getting any type of indicator to charge or low battery. Overall, the only con that I have is where the volume button is located on the aids, otherwise, I would recommend these hearing aids to friends and family.

This review is on Audien Hearing - Audien Atom Pro 2 OTC Hearing Aids. I am now 50. I can tell my hearing isn't as good as it was when I was younger. It isn't bad though. I just have a little trouble in areas like restaurants with music playing. I can hear the music fine but if someone isn't talking loud enough I can't understand some words. So I knew it was time to get a little help. I love the option that I don't have to go to a doctor to get hearing aids because I don't think I am at that level yet. These come with everything you need. They are easy to use. I just pulled them out of the case and put them in. The case is compact and feels solid. The case also has UV built in. There are five volume levels and 4 listening modes (Conversation, Restaurant, TV and Outdoor). One press of the button on the aid will cycle the volume. Long press for 3 seconds will change the mode. It is that easy. So this is my first experience with hearing aids. Nothing to compare them to. I know I like the size. I can wear them for hours and they don't come out or bother me. I can hear things different than before. I can hear a computer fan running without them but with them in it sounds different. Not a bad sound but I would say more like I was right next to it. I can hear my feet scrape across the floor. When I touch paper it sounds like I am touching sandpaper. So I can say this is exactly what I was looking for without having to get a $3000 pair.

The - Audien Atom Pro 2 Hearing Aids are simple-to-use symmetrical hearing aids. No Bluetooth application is needed to use these hearing aids. They are the same so that you can use either hearing aid in either ear. There are five volume levels and four modes (Conversation, Restaurant, TV, and Outdoors). Each hearing aid has a button on the end, and each short press cycles to the next volume level. One to five beeps will tell you what volume level you are at. If you press for three seconds, then you will hear a low-tone bloop, letting you cycle through the modes. The hearing aids are stored in a compact case that doubles as a charger and UV light sanitizer. When the case is connected to power, UV light will sanitize the hearing aids for five minutes. Tools to clean the hearing aids are also included. Each hearing aid has a wax guard with tools to change them monthly or as needed. The manufacturer recommends that you take three weeks to adjust to the hearing aids. During week one, wear them for 1 – 2 hours a day to allow you to adjust the fit and get used to processing the new sounds. In week two, wear the hearing aids for 3 – 4 hours a day. And in Week 3, wear them for 6+ hours a day. I have found that these hearing aids have opened up more sounds for me. My communication is better because I can more clearly hear who I am with. I have a much wider range of hearing. I think that this is an excellent product to enhance your hearing.

I got to take these on a week long cruise that had a number of panels and shows that required you to absorb an audio portion of the presentations. As much as I thought I had them setup right while I was still at home, I needed to adjust them for the sound levels being pumped out of an amplifier on the ship. Once I got done fiddling with the audio levels these really did make a difference, as evidenced by removing them in the middle of a show, then replacing them back into my ears several times to compare. I did this on both ears and picked up a noticeable difference with both. I had tried other OTC hearing air solutions but none of them made the type of difference that these do. Now that I am back at work I'm noticiing a huge difference in my hearing as well - hearing what otherwise would have been whispers as if they were speaking directly to my face. These are definitely first rate devices and I strong recommend to anyone who needs something to boost their hearing ! They might not be stylish but they definitely fit the need!

Was a bit surprised by the simplicity and ease of use. As soon as volume and mode were set properly it was a great improvement. While the ear buds it came with were acceptable, taking the time to refit with a slightly smaller size gave a better fit and nearly eliminated any discomfort. Overall, quite impressive and a great improvement.

I was given these to try out. I was excited to try them out and with the futures these had to offer I was hoping they would work out. Unfortunately, they did not. My biggest issue was that they both kept whistling. The left ear would stop when I set the volume lower but then that defeated the purpose to even have hearing aids. The right one seemed to do this regardless. I tried different tips, different positions in the ear etc. These also lack any customization. No app to connect to. I did like the case, small and has a UV light cleaner and has a backup battery to charge the hearing aids while you are out and no outlet around. They also provided both a USB cable and a wall plug, which lately a lot of other brands do not provide. I like that these are rechargeable instead of a battery type. I would have liked to have seen these connect Bluetooth with phone and then an app that would allow to adjust the sound with more options. These also are independent. Again, something an app could allow would be to adjust both at the same time. If these worked without the whistling, then I would probably give them a 3 star. Mainly because I would prefer them to be able to connect to a smartphone and have an app.

I did NOT receive "promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review". I have found the Pro 2s to be unusable - at lease for me. The feedback is constant and loud (my wife can hear it across the room). I've tried every setting, position and ear dome size to no avail. The fit is another matter as they tend to work their way out when talking or chewing. I personally don't consider them "inexpensive" if I can't use them.

Purchased and tried these hearing aids I would not recommend them could not get rid of the feedback and I tried every earbud shipped with the product. They were also very uncomfortable.
