It's cool to hear that crackle in the vinyl. Easy to put together as well. I just wish it sounded louder like the way a CD does.

Just grabbed the Audio-Technica AT-LP70X and it's a total win. Killer black/bronze look, easy setup, and sounds awesome. Fully automatic, built-in preamp...absolutely recommend at this price point.

This turned out to be a really amazing record player! I was torn between this version and the one with bluetooth but I ended up getting this one instead. There hasn't been one moment yet where I felt I would've needed the Bluetooth feature so definitely worth the savings for me. The audio quality is really good. Keep in mind though if you're going to use your own preamp like I am, you'll have to switch the setting from "phono" to "line" otherwise it's not going to work properly. By default, mine was set to "phono". Aside from that, everything works exactly as I needed it to out of the box! This was my first Audio-Technica record player and I'm definitely very glad I went with this brand and model!

Great right out of the box. For new, it's hard to beat. Bummer for not having an adjustable tone-arm but it is perfectly balanced and works well for 33 1/3. Comes with a decent cartridge that is very easy to swap. Get a cart that is comparable in price and the system can rival much more expensive tables. Very very pleased. Is built a little plastic-y, but looks very nice. And it is solid enough. .. The bluetooth (BT) option, in hindsight would have probably been better for me, so choose wisely.

I couldn’t be happier with this turntable. From the moment I set it up, everything felt intuitive and well thought out. The design is sleek and modern, yet timeless, and it looks beautiful in my space. Sound quality is excellent warm, clear, and balanced, with no distortion. It handles both new and older records effortlessly, and playback is smooth and consistent. Setup was quick and beginner-friendly, but the performance easily satisfies someone who truly appreciates good audio. This turntable delivers premium quality at a very fair price. Whether you’re just starting your vinyl journey or upgrading your setup, this is a solid investment. Highly recommend to anyone looking for reliability, style, and great sound all in one.

Vinyl is Back! We couldn't be happier about it. And if someone wants to spin it--this is a fantastic, high-quality but mid-priced and easy-to-use item for platters of all kinds. A good buy!

I have it connected to the phono input on my Onkyo RZ50 rcvr feeding Martin Logan Foundation F1's. I also tried the built-in preamp, seems pretty decent, was hard to tell a difference with the Onkyo preamp. Fed it both old & new vinyl, forgot how good analog can sound as I mostly use digital files and cd rips. The stock conical (blue) stylus sounds pretty darn good on my system; I got the step up elliptical (green) stylus and it is quite a bit brighter. Love the fully automatic operation, HIGHLY recommended for the price.

This record player has crisp, clear sound. My dad absolutely loved it as a gift. It brought back so many old-time memories while also helping create new ones with our family. Truly the best gift ever—the gift that keeps on giving.

Best $199.99 turntable on the market! AMAZING!

First off! This is my first review ever on Best Buy and I had to make sure I left one for this turntable! THIS THING IS AMAZING! I’m somewhat of an audiophile and wanted something that didn’t break the bank to start out! Let me say, my fiancé thought a “record player” didn’t make a difference! She INSTANTLY could tell how freaking awesome the sound quality was! I bought her a cheap Amazon one for Christmas just to make sure she’d actually use it. She was hooked on vinyl so I decided to just upgrade to this so I don’t mess our new / nice records up! If you are debating to get this, JUST DO IT! The fully automatic mechanism is so freaking amazing! All you do is put the record on, push start! BOOM! It moves the arm and needle over all automatically! Again, for $199.99, you can’t go wrong! Enjoy! Jam on!

Bought this for the wife for Christmas. I wanted something good but not break the bank. This is it. Assembly went quick and was easy. The unit is light. If you have the unit in a stereo rack away from dancing people you should have no problems with skipping. The unit works just as it should. The arm will lift and play, when the record side is done it will lift and cradle on its own. The unit has a belt and it works well. I wish it came with a rubber disc instead of felt, agian it works. For the price point it dies exactly what it should. Id recommend this to anyone.

Excellent record player, especially for the price. I had purchased this as a Christmas gift for my family because my 12 year old is absolutely obsessed with records. I have it hooked up to my surround sound receiver and the sound that it produces is well above my expectations with the stock needle that it is shipped with. Definitely a big upgrade in sound quality of the Victoria record player that we used to have in our living room. We use it almost daily and I have yet to have even a single issue with it. We love it. I would definitely recommend purchasing if you are on the fence about it. I’m a happy that I did, and has never regretted the purchase.

I am very happy with the purchase of this Audio-Technica turntable. It replaced a vintage TT from the 70’s that needs repair. Besides that it works and sounds fantastic it is very sleek and beautiful. Also for the price I don’t think you can beat it. Would definitely recommend it.

The Audio Technica - AT-LP70X-BZ suits my needs perfectly and is exactly what I was looking for. The built in preamp is just enough paired with my powered speakers and it looks great in my entertainment room.
