...as my Beats Studio3. But, the mids are clearer on these. The upper range are brighter as well. For me these a bit better than studios for critical listening. M50xbt is the perfect way to start the never ending road to best sound. Their price for me is on point. If you want loud buy Beats Studio3(they do sound good) but if looking for precision these are much better.

I have the original ATH M50 headphones & have been looking for a bt version to match the sound. These cans do not disappoint! Burning them in ( about 20 hrs ) does make a big difference. I have tried open back vs closed & although you don’t get quite as wide of a soundstage with closed, these have phenomenal true to recorded sound.

I've used different iterations of these headphones for about 15 years now. The bluetooth update is great for bringing these studio cans into the next decade. Battery lasts forever, even if you've left them turned on for days by accident. Forget beats. Forget bose. These things are awesome.

I have tried many headsets, and some well above the price point of these. AT blew me away with these. As far as the build and finish this is not what you are paying for, the sound quality however is fantastic. I love pretty much all genre's of music and played it all for about 4 hours and everything sounded spot on. You won't get the vibrating bass from these but the bass is there and is solid, mids are on point and the highs are perfect with zero tinnyness to them. Bluetooth pairs up as it should and I never felt any discomfort wearing these, even with my large melon. These are not noise cancelling but the cups are so nice and supple you wouldn't really need it. These fit well, look good and sound great with a inexpensive she'll and design. If you aren't into looks and frills but want amazing sound then these are what you have been looking for. You won't be dissapointed.

These headphones are amazing for the price. They are decently expensive but they are high tier in sound. Other headphones that produce the same sound quality are much more expensive. The build quality itself is my only con. I personally purchased a different set of ear pads as I did not like the ones that came with this headset.

I’ve heard of the company that makes these but until I put them on I didn’t know how much I was missing I can hear everything nothing is muddy sounding and the mids are there as well as the highs that’s good for a BT head set there great

Really like this because the bass and treble sound very good with niether overpowering the other. It doesn't get uncomfortable wearing until a few hours. The best bluetooth headphones I have owned to date.

What I like: Nice clean sound. Great connectivity. Well made ,(is plastic but no Squeak) Still has a 3.5mm jack aux. What I don’t like, Mic for calls sucks.( i don use it for calls, so I don’t mind)

These headphones are unexpectedly wonderful. I paired them with my phone easily and right away they were blasting full power music! My old phone wouldn't start headphones at full amplitude, so just be aware that if your phone is cranked up to maximum, these will be loud! So I dialed them down a bit -- the controls on the left ear are easy to use -- and I discovered something. These don't have to be loud to hear the full depth and dynamic range of the music. It's not exaggerated with a heavy bass, it's just right and sounds really nice. Vocals really really pop -- it's so much easier to understand lyrics with these. The headphones are really comfortable. I'm looking forward to using them on my next plane trip. By the way -- they do come with a detachable cord, in case you refer not to use Bluetooth when in airplane mode. The instructions included in the box are pretty sparse. It was easy to pair with my first phone because it was ready to go when I turned it on, but I'll have to dig into the user manual to figure out how to get it back into pairing mode for additional devices. Also, the quick start guide didn't include anything about the cord. The cord has some controls, I'm just not sure how to use them. ... okay, I just downloaded the user manual from their site, and it goes into way more detail on how to use the headset and cord. It looks like it can only be paired with one device at a time, but there's instructions on how to force it back into pairing mode. Overall, the strength here is the sound quality and clarity. It's really impressive. I found details in songs that I hadn't previously noticed, and like I said, lyrics are so much clearer.

Very comfortable, with superb sound. My first pair of bluetooth headphones, and I'm so satisfied. Build quality seems solid. Comes with a detachable wire if you want to use it to connect, but I never do. Very happy.

Absolutely love these headphones. They are incredibly comfortable and have superb sound and the price is amazing. You could spend upwards of $500 and not get something that sounds this good. These have a flat signal for audio so they will not automatically pound bass into your ears at +8 db (thankfully!!). These are for people that want to have the ability to set the EQ on their own. I use them for my Sony NW-A45 Walkman and the sound is pristine. I'm hearing layers in some songs that I never knew existed. These are much better than the crap Beats by Dre is peddling and at a fraction of the price. Since they have a flat signal these would be a great pair of headphones for doing at home audio mixing as well. Can't recommend these enough!

Excellent product. Own both this cordless unit as well as the corded version. Corded version produces louder volume. Both produce high quality sound. I have owned Grady, Sennheiser, and Beats. Overall, these have been great and purchased on sale.

I am not an audiophile by any means, but I do appreciate a good sounding headphone. In my opinion, the ATH-M50xBT headphones are very balanced sound wise albeit a slight bump in the high frequencies.

Great deep sound both on Bluetooth and plugged in to my Pc. Haven’t used the microphone as I have a separate mic but no complaints. Had to start listening to HiFi on Tidal.

Amazing sound quality! Was slightly disappointed when I had to purchase a separate adapter to connect headphones to a professional sound device (something other than a computer).
