This turntable is going on another system I am putting together. I also wanted something to archive some albums to CD. This one checked all the boxes. I have yet to try the Bluetooth, I am sure it will perform.

This turntable gives excellent sound to your records, and the USB output is critical if you wish to connect this to a computer or computer or digital audio system. Now, to give my records a good clean and off to the races!

Huge upgrade over the LP60X turntable

I love this turntable! I initially bought the LP60X but the stylus tended to skip on many of my vintage records. The inexpensive components and limited adjustability of the LP60X didn't help the situation. The LP120X is an entirely different level of quality and performance. If you can afford this unit, the differences are very, VERY significant. This improved LP120X with Bluetooth offers the following benefits vs the LP60X: - Heavier and more solid overall construction (it's a night and day difference) - Better stylus and cartridge (AT-VM95E) - easily replaceable and upgradeable as needed - Direct Drive vs. Belt Drive with heavy duty aluminum platter (with built in speed sensor) - Greatly improved Tone Arm with easy tracking weight and anti-skating adjustability - Tone arm light to easily place the stylus on the record in low light conditions. Be sure to properly adjust the tracking weight and anti-skate. After adjusting, I verified the accuracy of the tracking weight with a quality jewelry scale and it was perfect at 2 grams. I also checked the cartridge alignment with a record protractor. As advertised, it was perfectly aligned from the factory, although don't rely on it due to shipping, etc... it's probably the hardest part of the set-up but very important for balanced sound. Look on YouTube for the numerous videos on how to set-up your turntable properly... don't be lazy :) Being my first record player purchase in many years I wanted one that would perform and last. I have high expectations of this unit based on my initial experience. I'll update my review in the future if needed.

BEST THING ON THE TURNTABLE MARKET

I believe this is the best turntable on the market. Audio Technica really outdid themselves by adding Bluetooth to their ATLP120 line-up. I personally picked this turntable to skip the whole amp and receiver set up. This Bluetooth model allows you to get right to the music. When you have great Bluetooth speakers, you can really fill your surroundings with sound and you don't have to worry about extra wires or the distance the speakers need to be from your turntable. I have not used the turntable for music production yet (ie sampling into a DAW) but I'm pretty sure I will have a great time using this turntable for sampling. If this is your first AT120, you'll really enjoy it and if you're not satisfied with the turntable's base features such as the stylus or turntable mat, you can always upgrade it. This turntable is great for music lovers, vinyl collectors, and beatmakers/producers. Go get yourself one.

I did quite a bit of research before I bought my first "record player" since 1980. Yeah, 1980. That's what we called 'em back then. Now, get off my lawn. lol I love this unit. If not for the warm sound quality of the old vinyl platters I find in secondhand shops, but just the familiar feel of playing and album and looking the cover art. Nostalgia. Whatever. I know the argument pros and cons of direct drive vs. belt drive. Belts may remove some subsonic mechanized ear haze, but I battled with belts back when. The direct drive foolproof and doesn't even show up in the noise canceling headphones. The stock stylus and cartridge sound great. Maybe, I'll upgrade in a year or so. That's a great buying point. Everything is upgradable. The duality of analog and digital was the selling point for me. Bluetooth and USB features seemed to bridge the stay-at-home quality of a turntable and the readily mobile access to recording to digital that I most wanted. Bottom line: Great price. Great sound. Great experience.

This turntable is perfect for beginners that aren't wanting to start from the bottom. It has great sound and keeps speed very well. The stylus is good enough to satisfy, but if you aren't content, it can easily be upgraded. When I eventually upgrade my turntable, I will have no problem passing it off to my daughter. Great buy!!!!

Upgraded my turntable to this Audio-Technica and am glad I did. The sound is great and this unit has a lot of options for playback sound. I’ve used the Bluetooth feature and it’s nice to be able to hear my albums outside of my media room. It also has 2 different settings depending on what type of receiver you have. Easy to set up and use.

Worth the wait for the bluetooth version of this turntable, bluetooth connection is very stable and sounds fantastic! Have this connected to a set of higher end edifier speakers and it is a match made in heaven. Its a little more expensive than the standard lp120x but is definitely worth the $50.00 extra. Highly recommend over the lp60x bluetooth as sound is much better.

Works great! Huge upgrade from my ATLP60BT. I wish it had an autoreturn like that one did, but this one is NICE! It's big but that's not a huge problem. Sounds great and is nice and weighty. Can't go wrong with AT. It's less out-of-the-box friendly than some cheaper ones, but for quality and durability, this feels like it'll last a long time. The styli are a bit expensive, but such is having a turntable! I use it wired, and haven't used the USB features yet (many new records I've got come with download cards), but the Bluetooth works well!

Far superior to ones $100 less. Solid materials, nice lighting and design, smooth functioning, nice needle arm design, very nice turntable design. Originally purchased less expensive one - not impressed and motor hummed returned and bought this one and very happy.

It meets all expectations. Great quality, easy operation, the bluetooth is perfect if that's the output your looking for. This does require a little set up but it's not difficult, just watch a video online and you won't have any problems. If you are debating between turntables, this is a high quality safe option.

I just bought this turntable and I am extremely happy and satisfied with it! I replaced a Teac turntable with this Audio-Technica LP120XBT. Itn looks and sounds great. It does come with a stylus and I didnt have any problems setting it up and getting it playing on my hone stereo setup. I did use the setup video from the Audio-Technica website as a guide. I haven't tried the bluetooth and do not anticipate using it, since I am not really interested. I am into vinyl. I have a bunch of old LPs and I really enjoy listening to them, especially on this turntable. I am 70-years old and I am playing original LPs from my heydays and they sound exactly like they did back in the sixties and seventies. I would highly recommend this turntable.

Great product for the money and audio technica makes everything right. Mine came with a cracked dust cover, and they promptly sent me a new one. Sounds great hooked up through my surround sound. Great build quality for the price. Very user friendly. Sounds way better than my other cheaper turntable.

I gave this as a Christmas gift to my husband. It played our old albums so well I was amazed. Reviewers were spot on - I also miss the auto return and the inability to stack LPs (ahhhh - the good old days!!) Getting the model with Bluetooth was the right decision - the sound was perfect and no bother with the dusty speakers my husband refuses to give to the Goodwill. So far everything works perfectly - when it doesn’t, I’ll be back to update. I will also add I waited to purchase and caught a sale with $100 discount - Lucky Me!!!

I got this as a 50th birthday present from my sister. I own a Numark TT-USB that I've had for over 15 years as a gift from my former students and this Audio Technica turntable is a big improvement and will force the Numark into storage (or be sold online). The Bluetooth capability is a plus for sure but I have this connected to my Denon A/V System, paired with a JVC Dual Tape Deck and Pioneer CD-Recorder. If I ever did want to go upstairs though, I can pair my Sony Bluetooth headset to this player and the range is fantastic! The stylus included with this turntable is fantastic! I pulled out some of my vinyl records that I've owned since the mid 80's to test this record player: Anita Baker's Rapture, Phil Collins' No Jacket Required, and Lionel Richie's Can't Slow Down and the sound is so much warmer compared to CDs (and the Numark). If you are in the market for a record player, you can stop your search!

Good record player, for intermediate vinyl enthusiasts , has the capability to change needles and even make upgrades , for the price i would expect an auto stop feature so the needle doesnt wear down as fast especially since the older cheaper models has it dont see why it was ditched here, the acrylic case is a scratch magnet, you cannot wipe it down once without getting micro scratches everytime even with microfiber clothes
