I just started my vinyl hobby. I found a nice 1980's Sony turntable on ebay. This improved sound 100%. Just use on near mint albums and your gold.

I bought this to replace the AT-VMN95E the Green one that came with my LP120. I wanted to upgrade and see if there’s a difference and boy is there a difference. It says it takes about 50 hours of play to brake it in but I noticed a difference has soon has I changed it. Everything sounds so much crisper, bass is so much fuller. I should’ve upgraded 2 years ago when I bought the player. Trust me you won’t regret it if you buy it.

I have been eyeing this stylus for awhile now and I'm glad I finally found a good enough deal (open box) to go ahead and purchase it. I already have an AT-VM95 cartridge for the EN stylus (which also sounds good), so changing out that stylus for the ML was a literal snap. In no time I'm listening to sounds coming out of my 45-year old and older records that I've never heard before. More pronounced vocals and bass, too. And maybe this is from cleaning the record (which I do anyway), but I noticed a decreased presence of surface noise (pops and clicks). A very nice upgrade to an already good cartridge.

    Audio Technica AT-VMN95ML Stylus Upgrade

Went with the AT-VMN95ML replacement stylus to upgrade my AT-VM95 cartridge which had a AT-VM95E elliptical cartridge. I had only had the cartridge with 95E cartridge for a few weeks so it was essentially new but after reading reviews on the 95ML microlinear stylus I decided to upgrade the stylus and am glad I did! The sound difference is amazing, the clarity and depth of the sound has blown me and my friends away. AT has done a nice job of designing the VM-95 cartridge so that it can accommodate 5 different stylus. So if like me and you have one of the lower end (but still very good) stylus, you can upgrade it to a cartridge that just a few years ago would have cost you 3 times what this package costs. FYI, I have the AT-VMN95 cartridge and stylus mounted in a vintage Technics SL-Q2 direct drive quartz controlled turntable that I have had since the 70's and it is a great combination!

Replaced a worn ATN95EN with the ML equivalent for the AT-VM cartridge. Set-up was easy - stylus replacement is a snap, and verified alignment and tracking force. Took about 20 hours to really break in, and the soundstage of this compared to the EN was noticeably different and fuller - more mid-range, bass and highs that I thought were beyond my 59 year old ears. I can now understand the hype from other reviewers - well worth the upgrade.

The V shape and full diamond shank perform clear and solid and I can hear everything. I actually have this stylus mounted on an AT-XP3 cartridge body, and the combination packs a very present wallop (with the extra mv from the XP series bodies). I highly recommend this. I shall be buying another vm95en stylus.

Nice upgrade for the VM95 body. I had the STD "E" stylus to start with and I passed up the "EN" and went straight to the ML because I had another T-Table with the ML stylus on VM540 series cartridge, and it tracked great. This ML is almost the best you can do with this body.

It sounds really good. An improvement for sure. It was pretty easy to change, just be careful. I watched a video on how to do this and it was easy.

VM95SH is not the clearest sounding stylus, it has some good strengths, low noise and rumble being one of them, but doesn't sound as good as the two lower cost styluses. I think that the only time I liked it was when playing older pre 80's albums. I would recommend the MicroLine VM95ML or VM95EN over it.
