I'm not sure what to say about this item. It works great and I have no complaint with the item. I am not advanced enough in my understanding of home theater systems to know how the extra price of this cable is beneficial to a cheaper subwoofer cable. Currently I own a cheaper cable than this and I cannot appreciate a difference in sound quality between this cable and the cheap cable.

No issues with function. It is used for my home theater setup. no issues with it after 1 year of use. base sounds great! but that also depends on the type of subwoofer you have. Wish the cable was a bit cheaper.

My old subwoofer cable finally crashed after 20 years. So I consuted the Geek Squad. They recommended the Black Lab. It is terrific. Easy to plug and play. Be very sure to route arrows on the cable itself toward the subwoofer. Not sure why, technically, but the bass response is terrific, so there must be a reason. My 16' cable was a little pricey, but it is a vital part of the system
I would recommend this to a friend

As usual, AudioQuest gets it done.

However, keep in mind if you’re looking for something more than just a good solid bass coming through your excellent expensive speakers these are not the level of cable from AudioQuest you want to buy. These cables are not for audiophile systems. I took a shot with these on just such a system, but it proved insufficient. But, again if you’re looking just for great bass from movies, etc., these are great cables.

Bought these AudioQuest Sub cables...LOVE them...HEAVY duty construction, yet cable gauge small enough to not be seen as "snakes under the rug", where I placed them! AND, the cool "connection-direction arrow is dope! THanks for carrying these BestBuy/Magnolia!

I had a four footer that no longer worked for my situation. I walked into the audio department and was immediately assisted by store staff. I brought the item home and it worked perfectly.

I’ve been buying Audioquest for years. Always loved the quality that they have. Consider them the “premium gas” for my system. Would you want to put in anything else?

Love Audioquest. Sorry to sound like such a fan boy, but all of their cable products (and I have more than a few) always impress in terms of build quality. Yes they cost a bit more. And they are worth it. This cable which I use for my mid-priced subwoofer resulted in an upgrade in punch, exactly what I was looking for.

There isn't much to say here really. It's done a fantastic job of connecting my speakers to the SVS PB-1000 subwoofer I bought and there's no grounding to speak of.

The AudioQuest cable with the grounding wire is needed for either in wall installations for Home theater or to erase any hum coming from subwoofers where multiple subs are used. This worked as it should, was easy to install and made the experience much better without the hum.
