If you are investing into a great audio/video system , investing into great cables makes total sense as they are very high quality, built to last forever and transmit the best signal possible for the best video and sound quality.

I know there's the never ending debate about high priced cables (especially HDMI cables) vs. low priced cables. The fact is, they're all just sending 1's and 0's back and forth, so no, this is not going to make the picture sharper or make the audio more dynamic. What you're paying for with AudioQuest is, an extremely well built HDMI cable that is rugged, well insulated and will last you a very long time. If you have high end components in your home theater, it's natural to also want high end cables connecting everything. If you're running cables behind a wall, or in a space not easily accessible after setting up, a well built cable is something to consider. Some lower priced cables in my experience have a tendency to just stop working after awhile. If you personally don't see the need for high priced cables... don't buy them.

We bought an expensive tv super hd that means we also bought these expensive cables. Our system guy said, if you have good hd signal/cable/movie why run good signal through junky cables?! He's right, picture is beautiful!

I have 4 or 5 basic hdmi cables. I decided to try a $100 cable. You have to experience the difference to understand why you want to purchase high quality cables. Buy one, try it out. If you do not see the difference return it.

Coming from a monster cable hdmi I tested majority of the audioquest line up to Carbon. Although Carbon was overall better than Chocolate, it was hard to swallow the extra cash. Don't get me wrong though, Chocolate is a beast of a cable! It's running from my blu-ray player and the colors are much richer and blacks are blacker. Sound quality has improved significantly as well. Overall I'd HIGHLY recommend all of the audioquest line. However if you want a dramatic difference I'd say at minimum start at Chocolate.

I was going to get the cheapest HDMI cord I could fine until I was taught the difference between the quality levels. Sales associate didn’t try to sell me the most expensive one just the one that worked for me. Thanks

This cable made the picture very neat and clear. You can see the difference compare to other brands. The colors are neat and very strong. For a good TV this cable is the way to go. I'm very happy with this purchase.

These are supposed to be top of the line hdmi cables. I bought a new 4K tv and Sony sound bar so I bit and bought these cables. I don't know if they really make a difference, but they are stiff and not easily maneuvered when plugging them in. They say that is because of the special braids. I'm happy with the purchase.

After my recent 4K Samsung tv purchase ,I realized it was time to upgrade my cheap hdmi cables for the best picture quality. I chose Audioquest after a Best Buy salesman advised me to check them out. They're only available from a magnolia store, so I visited the nearest one in Manchester. I have to say the picture quality is perfect and streaming 4K content is crystal clear. The only down side is that it comes at a price. $150 for 6'. But if you want the best, you're going to pay!

I thought all high speed hdmi cables were the same, I was wrong. The picture is 10x clearer with this cable than the other one I had. Definitely glad I grabbed the audioquest chocolate instead of the Monster cable.

If you aren't going to invest in a top notch cable for your TV, then there is no point in buying a HDTV, especially in a 4K TV. So many people make the mistake of buying a high end expensive TV and then ruining it by purchasing a cheap cable. The majority of the cables out there are sub par. Minus a few exceptions, if you are going to purchase a TV, surround sound system, or cables to go along with it, you need to go to the home theater section. Nothing in there is sub par. If you are looking for a cheap 300 dollar TV that will provide a terrible picture and make you want to turn it off every chance you get, go get a TV from walmart. If you want the ultimate TV experience that makes you feel like you are at the movies, then you need to do the following: purchase a 4K TV, a high end surround system like martin logan (I believe these are the best on the market that give you powerful boom for action movies while still providing high pitch for voices and music), and wonderful cables. This goes for both speakers and your TV. They are arguably the most important component. WIthout these cables, you will not even come close to reaching the full potential of the speakers or TV. The cables makes the TV/speakers what they are. Whats 175-200$ when you are dropping a minimum of 1,000 and probably upwards of several thousand for a TV? You won't be sorry you did it. Ask a best buy associate. These chocolate cables rom audioquest are the cables they used most for floor model tvs. Everyone wants their TV to look like the ones at best buy. To do that you need the following: 4K TV (I think Samsung is the best on the market), strong TV signal (I think direct tv is hand down the best there is), and a wonderful cable (you can't go wrong with the audioquest cables, they are far superior to any other cables). They are the Ferrari of TV cables. Even if you don't spend the money on the chocolate, at least get an Audioquest cable. I have them for my TV and surround sound system. I bough several other cables to see how they compare and none came even close.

Although an HDMI cable gives a quality, high definition picture, the 4K HDMI cable enables the 4K TV to produce a true 4K quality picture.

Image quality with this cable is perceptively different with this cable when compared to the cheaper HDMI cables. Would definitely recommend this cable for SUHD to optimize picture quality playback.

Super high quality and is worth every penny. Audio and video transfer is flawless and amazing. Figured I already spent alot on my home theatre so I shouldn't skimp on the cables! Glad I bought them.

There's no reason to buy cable this expensive. If I did not make them give it to me for free when I purchased my television, I never would have bought this cable. Yes it is a fantastic cable and extremely well-built, but there's no reason to spend $140 for a 3' cable.

We really love our 65"Sony Bravia 4k 3D smart tv. This is the best purchase I made in conjunction with the chocolate cable, the picture quality is awesomely clear as well as the salesperson's help.

This HDMI cable is good. I did notice some better picture quality and a bit improvement in the sound after putting this on my new TV compared to the old cable I tried first.

It is kind of expensive but if you’re spending some serious dough on a system it makes sense to do the same for the cables too. Just got some b & w towers and a center channel and I had to go with the best that was out there. You have to hear it with your own ears, and the quality is simply mind blowing! It’s definitely a must with high end equipment.

I upgraded my system with a new Denon XDVR-1500H, Bose sound system, 4k Samsung Blu-Ray player and 75" Samsung 4k TV. The results I get wih the AudioQuest -Chocloate 4k Ultra HD HDMI Cable blew me away! The improvement I get with this cable in both audio and video are well worth twice the cost of the cable. I got the 3' cable and it does reach but I wish they produced a 4' cable.

This HDMI cable is definitely amazing. It is expensive, but I believe you always pay for what you get. Also, Audioquest is an awesome brand. All my equipments are wired with audioquest cables
