I purchased this cable to hook up my tv to a reciver that has no hdmi. The cable is built well and was a big improvement over the rocketfish one. The cinnamon line has been my favorite for giving you the best performance per dollar in the audioquest lineup. If you want audiophile performance and built quality look no further.

I have been in sound and computers for decades & these are the best cables I have ever come across. Monster is just $$ compared to AudioQuest. A blue shirt recommended the AudioQuest cables, so I did my due diligence & read up on them at their website, @ Audioquest.com. After reading how they make the cables I was doubtful, but after thinking about the mechanics it made sense. I also purchased several HDMI cable's for my new 4K TV & you can tell the difference between regular cables and AudioQuest. I had good optical & HDMI cable's, even a monster cable, when I bought my TV, but when I installed the AudioQuest cables my TV & sound came alive.

Audioquest is a good company and they take pride in their products. The quality is alway first rate and they back it up with a solid warranty. I purchased this cable for my DAC to Preamp. It is a solid performer and is neutral and that is what you want from a cable, not to add or attend the original source signal. I have been a fan of Audioquest for over 20 years now. I do have other cables from other manufacturers but for the price and value, AQ is hard to beat.

I bought this cord to connect my Panasonic 65VT50 to my MartinLogan Motion Vision sound bar. I have heard nothing bad about AudioQuest so I decided to go with that brand for my digital optical cable. Figured with a high end TV and high end audio, I didn't want to sacrifice the audio quality with a cheap/inexpensive cable that wasn't as good. I went with the cinnamon cable because it didn't break the wallet and was still very high quality and it seems that decision was a great one so far. The audio from the sound bar and the subwoofer is amazing so the cable must be doing its job! Would recommend this cable to anyone with high end audio that doesn't want to lose good audio quality. Also, from an aesthetic point of view, the cable is pretty sexy for a cable!

Recently updated my subwoofer to Elac 3010 ( system is Elac amp and ub5)and greatly immproved the sound. Then I upgraded to SVS ultra speaker cables ( from monster xp )even further improved sound quality especially mids and highs. And finally I upgraded to audioquest cinnamon..( was using forest one)what difference it took to whole new level. Now I understands how each component is important to get great sound . Just try these cables if u spent decent amount on audio system.

Optical cord looks and feels great right out of the box. After replacing the other cord, the sound was amazingly crisp! There is a huge difference. It's a bit on the pricey side, but well worth it if you have a high end surround system.

Probably one of the best optical cables around. I didnt realize the difference in sound that a good, quality cable can make. Take my word, this will sound much better then the cheapie optical cables that come standard. Quality isnt cheap. Disclaimer, I returned this cable, not because it was crap, but because I didnt need it with the new sound bar. If the new soundbar would if just had Optical and Bluetooth inputs(like the old one), this would of been a keeper, for sure.

I can definitely hear the difference and it doesn't fall out of the receiver! Expensive.....so only if you have good speakers and surround sound.

This audio cable is the best i have gotten my hands on. It improved the sound of my sound bar like crazy and is worth every penny

I was skeptical at 1st about spending all this money for this cable... However as soon as I connected I notice a difference in sound quality.... Before deciding to upgrade your speakers by this cable 1st it's a cheaper results and is deftly will improve sound quality.

It was a little expensive but you can't go cheap for a good quality cable like this.

Thin and flexible. Seems to sound a bit more transparent than the coax digital I was using. Worth the investment.

I was looking for an optical cable to keep an all digital signal in my car stereo. After reading a bunch of reviews online and doing some research I realized there is a big difference in different cables and their price points. I use the cable for hd sound and the quality is awesome. I also tried the cable on my home theater unit and a movie with dolby digital sounded good.

Easy to install and flexible. Quality of picture is great

fit every connection that I tried it with and I tried with several.. The quality of the fiber optic is probably not any better that the Monster one but several reviewers stat that the Monsters cable it did not fit tightly with some of their connections.. Not a problem withe this cable. Can definitely tell the quality over the one provided with my LB Soundbar.

Cable is holding up pretty good so no complaints after several years.

Can't say anything bad about going with the AudioQuest Digital Optical Cable. Top quality and well made. Works great with my surround sound system. Audio is great using this cable. It may cost a bit more than other brands, but I have never had an issue with anything made by AudioQuest.

I was quite speticle about purchasing the product due to its price and hearing about all cables are the same, but when I hooked this up to my surround sound and my Astro A40 Mixamp. You would be amazed of how different you will hear the audio, smooth voice, silent background , amazing when playing c.o.d yet deadly.
