The truth is out there, my friends, if you are ready to deal with it. This is not the Sony Bravia world of which you may have grown up with. This is a whole level above the next higher level up beyond the thickest and topmost. Think about how much time you may spend in front of your TV or Home Theater. But let us be honest. Silver will tarnish and require frequent polishing; especially from viewing Hustler or Juicy. Gold has far better conductivity, and the ductility and malleability of gold enables it to be stretched beyond the copious magnitude of 3 feet 3 inches. Here's the rub: Magnolia Best Buy stores don't sell many uber products over the web - you actually need to pilgrimage to their home theater showcases to cache in on the ultimate experience. When you do, you'll quickly learn how primitive the neophyte you actually are, as a caveman entering a spacecraft. This AudioQuest Diamond 3.3' HDMI cable is only a "Gateway" vehicle to ultra rigid AirFrame and curvilinear XStat™ electrostatic transducer dynamics and three-dimensional audio visual staging. Your next step is up a state-of-the-art toroidal transformer for Controlled Dispersion PoweredForce™ technology. If you're coming in from the hood out by the flat shunted tracks, be prepared to experience a Courtney Love Nirvana on par with where only the biggest boys can play. This fine cable, however will only get you so far, player. No matter how many baudy houses you visit with it, you'll still end-up missing the mothership. The secret knowledge others don't want you to know, perhaps hammered out in the skunk works of an Area 51 hangar; Ancient Alien technology whereby only the richest and most powerful secret brotherhood club member may afford; that which transcends your meager human existence so as to meld with it the very dust which makes the stars to twinkle. Micro diamonds sure. I tell you what I'd do: I would go downtown Atlanta Magnolia Best Buy and I'd buy a Mercury or two. 'Cause I'm crazy about Mercury. Cruise up and down this road.

I bought this cable to hook up my recently purchased a Dynex 19 inch color LCD 720p HDTV (WIDESCREEN!). My TV/VCR combo had served me well for many years and I felt it was time for an upgrade. I was disappointed that my new TV did not have VCR playback capabilities, but I was able to retain the ability to play VHS tapes by incorporating the old TV/VCR combo into my setup as a stand for the new Dynex! I researched HDMI cables for several weeks, reading reviews and watching unboxing videos. My friends recommended that I just buy an inexpensive cable and started spewing techno-babble at me about how HDMI cables work. They claimed that it's not possible for a higher priced HDMI cable to improve picture quality because of how digital video signals work. Something about 1s and 0s and error correction. I was skeptical. I mean my friends are very smart, but they aren't Best Buy employee smart. So I went to my local Best Buy to speak to the experts that I trust. A while back, my computer would not boot into Windows ME and instead displayed the message: "Boot Device Not Found." I thought perhaps the hard drive had become disconnected. Well, I'm glad I took it to the Geek Squad. The technician saw the error msg and was able to determine that I needed a new hard drive without even opening it up or running any kind of diagnostic software. What technical expertise! But let me get back to the cable. I told one of the customer service agents about the my home theater setup and my intentions to hook up my gaming console to my new 19 inch color LCD 720p HDTV (WIDESCREEN!). He recommended this cable for its inherent ability to increase the resolution and frames per second in games. So I bought it and brought it home. I went to the living room to hook up my console and I hit my first snag. Nowhere in the documentation did it specify where to hook the cable up to the NES. I was about to give up but I noticed a cover on the bottom of the Nintendo. It turns out that this is where the expansion port is located which is where you connect the HDMI cable. I hooked the other end up to the TV and fired up the NES. Unfortunately, I didn't get a video signal. After much experimentation I figured it out. To get HD output from an NES you have to hook up the analog outputs as well. Apparently the TV combines these two signals to form an image. And what an image! The blacks were so deep that it desaturated all the color from my living room furniture! I had been meaning to apply a darker stain to my coffee table and now I don't have to! My couches were now black, giving my living room a much needed neutral color scheme. Super Mario Bros looked amazing! I hit the info button on my remote and discovered that it was running in 4k 480Hz with a perfectly matched frame rate of 480 frames per second! I wanted to capture some game footage so I hooked the NES up to the VCR. I've never seen such clarity in a VHS recording! It makes Blu-Ray look like an Etch A Sketch! I now realize why my friends were trying to dissuade me from buying a mid priced cable like this one. They probably purchased some cheap $500 dollar cable and didn't want me to get an HDMI cable with over twice the performance of their cable. I no longer speak to them as I don't need people like that in my life. All my friends now reside in the Mushroom Kingdom. One other thing to note is the the Zapper didn't work with the new TV. This is most likely because the Zapper could not detect if it was hitting a target due to the increased resolution and frame rate. While the documentation leaves room for improvement as hooking up an NES wasn't even mentioned, at this price point I can't justify taking away a star. FIVE STAR PRODUCT!!! If I had any friends left, I would definitely recommend them this product!

    ACTUALLY FILLED WITH DIAMONDS!

    Posted .

At first I was hesitant to pick up such an expensive cable for my new HDTV. My wife pleaded with me saying "Why are you spending more money on the cables than you did on the TV?" Well who has the last laugh now? When I first opened the packaged I was surprised how heavy the AudioQuest Diamond 3.3' High-Speed HDMI Cable was, it almost pulled the TV down off of the wall, but I assumed that was just quality manufacturing. A few hours later when the shear weight of the cable brought my television (along with the wall mount and drywall) crashing to the floor did I really see the value of the AudioQuest Diamond 3.3' High-Speed HDMI Cable. When I sifted through the rubble I noticed the HDMI cable had been ripped and diamonds were poring out onto the floor! I quickly scooped them up and brought them to the nearest pawn shop! I was told the diamonds had a value close to $25,000 but since they needed to be framed and would sit around the shop for a while we negotiated down to $1500, an almost $500 profit! I spend my days now going from Best Buy to Best Buy in search of more AudioQuest Diamond 3.3' High-Speed HDMI Cable. My pawn shop guy continues to buy the loose diamonds from me, it's a wonderful arrangement. I think I'm going to be able to afford a PS4 and Xbox One for Christmas this year!

Not just a cable, an investment!

    Posted .

It took the salesman a while to convince me that I should buy this but what eventually got me was the fact that this was not just an amazing product in and of itself but that it was really an investment in my future. Similar to a BMW (or if you remember from the golden age of automobiles the classic ‘Monza’), this will only increase in value as time goes by. So I would definitely recommend this cable. But with one caveat… only use it when important guests are over say of a caliber such as Donald Trump. Do not use it for run-of-the-mill every day guests. If you overuse it, the quality of the signal may eventually degrade and of course that would affect the resell value down the road. And it isn’t something you can tweak like the odometer of your car. Savvy electronics technicians have a way to measure the volume of electrons that have passed through those particular wires. It’s kind of like the cholesterol that builds up in your arteries… the waste product of the electrons running through the wires will eventually build up to a point where only a small number of electrons get through and the quality of the picture will be no better than those less-expensive cables. I hope this review made you day brighter and best of luck with your new cables!

This wire Saved me a ton of MONEY!

    Posted .

Ok so for the new year I was hosting our traditional once a year family party. And this year everyone wanted to go to Disneyland. So in total there was about 15 of us going 12 being kids. Before our trip I decided to go to best buy to buy a memory stick for our camera after all my family has been waiting a while year to go I have to take pictures. As I was walking out the memory stick isle I ran across this silver and black beauty. The first thing I did was leave the 2 year old I was pushing around in the stroller and ran to the front of the store to buy it. I than got in my car and went home. It was than I realized I left the kids and 2 year old at the store. There was no way I was going back to best buy to get the children I had to try this bad boy out so I sent the Mrs. to get them. When they got back the TV was ready for action as the wire was plugged in. I than had all the kids sit on the coach as I put in pirates of the Caribbean on my blu ray player. Than it happened, my coach turned into the pirates of Caribbean ride and we found ourselves in the movie chasing down the black pearl. Let's just say we canceled Disneyland and watched the same movie 8 times that day. I saved a fortune!

This cable will change you're life...

When I first came across this cable I thought it was silly. Too overpriced and for what? Better picture? Better sound? But after thinking long and hard, I decided to go for it. I was going to use that cash to get an engagement ring, but cables like these only come around once in a lifetime. I can always find another girl right? Anyway, after buying this cable, I wasn't unhappy! Since the purchase , this cable has updated my computer, picture quality is that of 10k(watch out 4k, here we come), managed to calculate the meaning of life, and some days it will disappear to go help solve the world's confilicts. It teaches me to be better, just by altering the electronic radiation coming out of my monitors. When I'm late for work it wakes me up. Oh, and it knows how to change my oil in my car as well. All of this it does in high def. Sometimes it will be fine for days, but it knows my "orange is the new black" Netflix schedule and it always returns just on time. I think I'll spend the dime to get another. Another crisis averted, another episode watched. Another happy customer. Thank you Diamond, for such an amazing product. You've changed my life.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I regret to inform you all that the Zombie Apocalypse has now begun. It was not started by a underground pharmaceutical company, or mutated strand of evolution. It was from the AudioQuest - Diamond 3.3' High-Speed HDMI Cable and my carelessness. After my purchase of this cable, I was so excited to install it that I neglected to head any warnings that had been given about this superior device. I proceeded to plug the cable in directly from my Blu-ray player to my TV… with no restraints, locks, filters or harnesses to contain its full power. To make matters worse, my first movie to watch was Night of the Living Dead. The second the movie started hordes of zombies started to pour forth from my TV biting gnashing at everything. Luckily my girlfriend and I grabbed our prepped zombie survival supplies and were able to escape quickly. Now I write this review deep in the furthest barren parts of Alaska stocking food and surviving. I would have never thought that I would have been the cause of the enviable apocalypse. Please forgive me, and FYI I wasn’t able to turn off the TV.

Just got home and hooked this bad boy up to the Sony 84" XBR 4K LED in my workout room in the basement and WOO-WEE - she's a beaut. My 'Steve Harvey Show' TiVo recordings look like pure American currency when transfered through this 3.3-foot HDMI. I imagine this would be Heaven is like. Some of my favorite television programs look absolutely spectacular with this cable, especially 'The Big Bang Theory' and 'How I Met Your Mother'. Did I mention when you watch 'The New Girl' you can see the pores on Zooey Deschannel's forehead? Mamma mia - me likey. God - this is MY KIND OF CABLE!! I WANNA SCREAM IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS. They make great stocking stuffers and even the dog loves it. We took two of these bad boys and tied them into a leash for our morning walks, and let me tell ya - the female canines be barking!! Would definetly recommend to anyone but poor people, like my first cousin Carl.

    Great Scott! What a Cable!

    Posted .

This is the only cable that can provide the necessary bandwidth for displaying real-time readouts from my Flux Capacitor since I updated the multi 8 bit LED display to 4K. An unexpected side-effect in updating the display was realizing that I only needed to hit 87.5 MPH before, and I had been rounding up unintentionally this whole time. The lower speed threshold correlated nicely into a reduction in plutonium requirement. I don’t think I need to tell you, but the cost savings in my monthly plutonium bill has more than made up for what seems to be an initially high price for a cable. I’ve been using this cable for 47 years, and can tell you, these things are made to last!

Definitely was worth the wait. I saved for almost a year to give myself an early christmas present. Intended for watching my tapes of Tom and Jerry... As a VX enthusiast i couldn't resist to plug this baby into my Toroidal Ferromagnetic Core-Transductor, a Division 4 module... And in my first attempt (and under 53 seconds) i hit 0.87 deltas... Not only was i close to achieving the first confirmed Yalgeth Limit reading, but i was about to tear the very fabric of space and time. Also this wondrous item doesn't seem to be affected by The Hans-Rodenheim law of vectoral momentum. I think it's because of the Magnolia Premium Installation. All and all, it's a very neat cable for VX beginners and experts alike, i hope they release a pink version soon, as i enjoy being at the cutting edge of VX studies and fashion.

Ok, for those of you who are reading this, hear me out! I took the advice of a salesperson at BB to upgrade my HDMI cable. He pointed me in the direction of the AudioQuest Diamond 3.3' High-Speed HDMI Cable in the stunning Dark Gray/Black color scheme. As I walked away with my new purchase, I turned to thank the salesperson, but they were gone, in a puff of smoke. I returned home and installed this to my setup (19" Dynex 720p 60Hz) and IMMEDIATELY, the room filled with light, surrounding me from all sides. I was transported DIRECTLY into my television, a la John Ritter in his 1992 box-office smash, Stay Tuned. Unfortunately, I'm now stuck in syndication land somewhere, sandwiched between Will and Grace and Twin Peaks. If someone could help me get out, that would be great! Thanks a bunch, Best Buy!

OK, I know, some of you are thinking, this is a digital cable, and that HDMI standards have checksums and parity bits and such to make sure that the digital digits being received by your TV are identical to the digits sent by your player... so that therefore there should be no difference between a $10 digital cable and a $1,000 one... BUT: THIS digital cable is special! Somehow, it smoooooths those pesky digits, making the 0s a little rounder, and the 1s a bit less pointy on top. This results in increased pacing and slam, with less graininess! Pop this puppy on your DVD player and tell me I'm wrong! Well, after you re-attach your head because it will have been blown away!

My eyes met this cable, and I tapped out my entire life savings to buy it. And let me tell you, broski, it was well worth it! Can't believe my eyes.

    Posted .

I had been using a mediocre HDMI cable for sometime when I upgraded to this one. I thought paying a thousand dollars for a digital cable could improve my picture a little but who knew how much difference was possible! The colors on my TV used to be a little dull, but with this cable my TV started showing colors I had never seen before...burnt sienna, burnt umber, and lurple (i didnt even know there was a color two better than purple). This 3.3 foot cable easily connected my television to my Super Nintendo...which was 4 feet away! I could hardly believe the cable could transmit audio AND video over that distance, but when I discovered that it came in Dark Grey/Black, I was sold. My kids are going to have to pay for college themselves now, but it's worth being able to watch TV from the future. If any of you have been forced to keep your VCR within 3.0 feet of the television, this cable is for you. For those of you without a degree in Electrical Engineering, 3.3 feet is actually the ideal distance for transmitting electrons. At this distance the electricity at the end contains the ideal number of electrons, resulting in the best possible picture.

"I bought this HDMI cable around Christmas time. Even though I just had a small 20-inch vacuum tube television and VCR-laserdisc combo player, my favorites immediately were up-converted to High Definition. I've honestly never seen Mulan like that before. Now I don't have to imagine what it would have been like to face the Huns - I can experience it every Thursday night in the comfort of my own home. After inviting a few neighbors over to verify what I was seeing (I'm a skeptic at heart), me and my TV experience became the talk of the block. Women started dropping off fresh-baked cookies and men were lining up to mow my lawn just to see the picture quality. My life at home has been transformed. I finally feel like I have a place where I belong. "

My neighbour recently showed me his new HDTV, and I was incredibly impressed. I asked the secret to the crisp quality of the picture and audio. He told me it was HDMI, and the cable cost him $140. Naturally, I was jealous. I traveled to Best Buy a few days ago. When I arrived and asked for the most expensive HDMI cable available, the clerk laughed, and then guided me to this product. Presumably, he was overcome with joy. When I got home, I went straight to my neighbour's house to show him my new expensive cable. He laughed with joy as well. As we gathered to eat our Sunday dinner, me and my family were stunned by the picture quality. Truly, this cable was amazingly better for both video and film and television purposes.

Ok. First off, I tested this cable in comparison to my $3.50 HDMI cable and let me tell you, there is no difference. HDMI transmits 1's and 0's. The cable never improves colors, or signal. If your cable can't transmit well enough, you get nothing. No picture, no sound. Just like you wouldn't get a connection to the internet. You don't get a "fuzzy internet connection" when the cable is of poor quality, and you don't get a faster connection when the cable on your computer is better quality. You just either get it, or you don't. Ultimately the picture and sound with this cable is the exact same as it is with a cheapo HDMI cable. That being said, I was looking for a cable that I could also use to hang my 73" DLP on the ceiling. I figured "Hey, if I'm going to need a cable to hang this beautiful behemoth, why not also make it the cable that will transmit the above-mentioned 1's and 0's?". It works. My TV is now suspended in the air by this single cable and thanks to all the high quality materials it has, I have no doubt that it will prevent it from falling on my family while they're watching TV. My $3.50 HDMI cable couldn't do this. I know, because it cost me my daughter's 19" HD TV and 4 stitches on her forehead to find out.

Pro's: I knew when I purchased this, it was no ordinary cable, but one fateful night my pregnant wife and I found each other lost on some back roads. That's when it happened, she went into labor! I went into a Tilly and cowardly ran away in terror. That's when the AudioQuest Diamond 3.3' High-Speed HDMI Cable (which I take everywhere) kicked into gear - calmed my wife down and successfully delivered our healthy baby son, all in Hi-Def! Through the years my trusty AudioQuest Diamond 3.3' High-Speed HDMI Cable has taught me Spanish, we've climbed the Swiss Alps together, came in 3rd at the 2014 world poker tournament, and started our own luxury lawn-chair company -- again all in Hi-Def. I bought one of these cables to upgrade my system when I added a 720P monitor. I have to say that it immediately made a difference in my ability to cover the rent, however I still had some "ghosting" artifacts on the screen. I researched the theory of these cables using their corporate website and figured out what to do! I bought three more cables and two 2:1 adapters. By twisting two of the cables together and connecting them through the adapters to another cable at each end, I was able to not only eliminate the ghosting, but with the now 9 foot cable, I don't have to put the dvd player on top of the tv set!

Wow is all I have to say... I have a Miracle Monochrome 19" CRT Display. I was told that with one of these majestic cables, I could easily upconvert the images to HD on this bad-boy... Man were they right. This saved me thousands I was going to have to spend on a new television. I just connected this HDMI to an HDMI to VGA splitter and BAMM!!!! This is the best image ever displayed on a 19" CRT monitor.... Holy cow these images are so life-like... I feel that this investment is so good, I won't even need to upgrade my Packard Bell 286 computer. Wolfenstein looks so real on this, I just don't know what to say... The Germans look like they are really coming at me!
