I do not think they make a big difference when the cable is below six feet in length. I wouldn't waste money on cables if I could find something cheaper that I thought would work just as well.

I went ahead and made the change and am very happy I did. If you pay very close attention to detail you can see and here the difference with these cords. I have it hooked up from my Apple TV 4K to my LG OLED. As well as Sonos surround system. I noticed the difference and am a believer in upgraded cables.
