It's a cable, it plugged into the TV and the Cable box, so it works. Is the image and sound quality better than other cables, I have no idea. It worked out of the box so its a win.

I never realized how important cable quality was. These make the difference!

You may not see it right away and may pass a stress test of 4.4.4 Chroma @ 12 Bit Planet Earth 2, but at the least expected moment your cables WILL FAIL! Was trying to calibrate TV (XBR65X900E) and no video, but passed audio! Mind you, I've been dealing with intermittent handshake issues and was driving me crazy!!! Tried another Audioquest (AQ) cable and the same thing on Oppo UDP-203. That's a 2M and 3M failing and even after restarting the 203 and everything under the sun... Tried the supplied Oppo "Premium Certified Cable" that came with the player and Voila Video and audio! An once of prevention is worth a pound of cure... Reordered my replacement "Premium Certified Cable" and still no issues. Posted .The fact the AudioQuest HDMI cables are not Premium Certified is not the issue. All current models of AQ HDMI cables (Pearl thru Diamond) up to 8.0 m. are fully compatible with 4K/60, HDCP2.2 and HDR. Although we do not yet fully understand why there is a conflict with Oppo 4K BluRay players and our HDMI cables, the only issues we have been alerted to so far involves Oppo players. We have heard of three issues so far and we are currently investigating the problem. No other UHD BD players have an issue with our cables.
