    I tried two other adapters before getting this one. I needed a adapter for a hdmi cord that had a hard bend after wall mounting my tv. This adapter allows me to use the hdmi cord without bending it at all.

    My son's xbox 1 plug was to thick to fix on the back of his mounted TV so we needed something that would connect the plug to the TV in a small space. Bingo! Perfect fit.

    There are no problems with its performance but my recommendation is to be very certain of the orientation you require! This style versus Left or Right "L's" is pretty obvious but I assumed adaptors in the configuration would always point down. Not so! When plugged into my television set, it points up, which is not what I had anticipated. Though it accomplishes the goal of fitting between the TV and the wall, the cable now has to make a U-Turn since it feeds from the bottom.
