Absolutely worth it, I was one of those skeptics who believed that cables don’t matter and a basic 12ga speaker cable is good enough……I was so wrong. I upgraded my speakers from my old Polk towers to ML 60xti’s and I was not much impressed with the ML.
I decided to gamble on cables and went with rocket 44 for fronts. I installed the cables and used them for 30 days before doing any critical listening.
After 30 days I did a blind test with two family members where I switched rocket 44 with regular 12 ga monoprice speaker cables. Rocket 44 was a hands down winner with all three of us. We could hear instruments which we could never hear before, movies were even more better with better overall surround sound integration and bass was pronounced and tight. Even my older polks started sounding better. Cables are solidly built as well.
Overall I got better return by upgrading my cables than I got from upgrading to a 5k speaker set. I am not sure if this improvement came from actually better cables or from fact that these cables are bi-wiring ( see pictures), nevertheless the difference is more than substantial for me to keep these. My setup: denon 4300 with emotiva xpa5 amp with Martin Logan 60xti, 50xti and also polk rti 12’s. I must say if you have decent speakers and receiver you got to try these. Best Buy has very good rerun policy on these. Now, I am in the process of upgrading all my cables and rca connects to either rocketquest or silver serpent cables. I am miffed that I did not do this earlier, this is not snake oil as many people in online forums say, you have to try these.

The AudioQuest Rocket 44 does everything it advertises and more. I upgraded my stereo system of 20 years and needed a high-quality cable to transmit from my new Cambridge Edge A amplifier to the Bowers & Wilkins 702 S3 speakers.
I first started with the AudioQuest Rocket 11, and to be honest, the cables felt pretty basic for a high-end system. When I saw the price Best Buy was selling the Rocket 44s (nearly the same price) the upgrade was a no-brainer.
The Rocket 44s are much better built, came shipped with protectors for each connection (I purchased the single bi-wire with silver banana plugs), and included cloths to clean the connectors and the cables. Overall, the presentation and packaging of the Rocket 44s was more commensurate to the level of my sound system and absolutely met my expectations when spending several hundred dollars on cables.
Sound quality: I strongly recommend not judging harshly until 50-100 hours of use. I did notice an immediate improvement over the Rocket 11s (bass was deeper, sound was more consistent and coherent, highs and vocals were not as forward). However, after three weeks of listening, my wife and I really had the aha moment. It was like over the weekend, the full sound blossomed and the entire system came alive. Bass was deep, articulate, and coherent. Mids were razor-sharp and crisp with added weight, especially on heavy-distortion guitars. Highs were present and sparkling. On some tracks (Lady Gaga/Taylor Swift) the room danced with cymbals, high-hats, and finger snaps.
We have a diverse taste in music in my house from pop, to classic rock, to metal (including death metal). I can say out of the three speaker cables we tried between $300-$1,000) these represent the best value and performance. The Rocket 44s presented a transparent, clear, and cohesive sound. Not one phase of the sound overshadowed the other and all sounds were present. Even my non-audiophile wife commented that in metal songs, she can pick and choose what instrument she wants to listen too. She admitted it's the first time she can clearly hear the bass player in bands like Gojira, Lamb of God, and Slayer. The Rocket 44s certainly added a level of depth and clarity to the music not audibly present in the "lesser" speaker cables.
Obviously, make sure to buy a cable on-par with your system, but if you're considering an upgrade, I would highly recommend the Rocket 44s. I have not tried the Rocket 88s, but given my experience with AudioQuest, I would expect performance to be even better and more nuanced.

Thick protective cording, good quality. Banana plugs fit snugly into the back of the receiver and the speakers. Have around 30 hours on them and other new gear recently purchased (Marantz Cinema 40, Wharfedale Elysian 2 speakers, Denon 1700NE cd player, Dual CS 618Q turntable). Not bragging or strutting my stuff, just saying for a reference point. Haven't noticed an enormous improvement in sound that blew me away; could be because everything in my new gear is getting broke in and it's all beginning to mesh. What I do notice is great sound from a demanding listener. 1k is a lot for speaker cables, but I don't regret buying them. No more wondering if I bought them if my system could sound better vs buying less expensive cords/wires. Yes, this was a good purchase.

High quality cables with cleaner sound and superior build quality. Pricey cables but if you’re looking in this price range you know what you’re getting into. You buy once you cry once. Worth the money in my opinion.

Only the best. Only the best! Hook this up to your high end center speaker and, if you don’t hear a major difference, then you’re probably deaf. A joke. Seriously, the best cables to have for your AV system.
