When I upgraded my home sound system it made sense to replace all of the speaker wire. The installation was time consuming but well worth the trouble. Turns out the previous wiring was the incorrect size and low quality. The AudioQuest Slip Cable was exactly what I needed and the new system sounds awesome!

I needed speaker wire for my rear speakers, which are Def Tech SR-9040 (8 ohm) speakers. This wire is CL3- rated for in wall use. Being a short run (35-40 ft) this 16 AWG wire is fine by most standards. I do wish there was 14 AWG still offered for longer runs (more than 50 ft) or a higher resistance factor (4 or 6 ohms) as I would have bought that. I didn’t want try and combine the wire from a 16/4 version (which makes 13 AWG) because the extra time it would take to strip and pair. I’m not a professional being paid, and am doing this on my day off, nor did I technically need it. It, as advertised, is pretty easy to wall fish through holes. It has good shielding but isn’t impossible to strip. It is NOT designed to use with the Audioquest SureGrip banana plugs as they are meant to work with the X2 14 AWG speaker wire. I cannot speak to the “directional clearity.” Honestly I think it’s a bit ridiculous and a marketing gimmick, but I followed it anyway because it couldn’t hurt I guess.

Was finishing up my home theater and bought this speaker cable to replace my entry-level speaker wire I have been using. Very nice product - extremely high quality. I don't notice any difference in the sound quality, but that was to be expected, as there are enough audiophiles that say that speaker wire is basally snake oil. But, it is still nice to have high quality speaker wire that looks great and is tough enough to not worry about severing or getting kinked and breaking. It's a bit tough to splice and get at the wires, but overall a great product.

This speaker wire was highly recommended and I understand why. Although they are a little pricey they are worth it. The sound quality is excellent with no static.

Needed some good solid wires for my B&W surround sound. Cable is easy to work with. Saw the higher end stuff offered in Magnolia but decided to buy this spool instead. Just make sure you measure twice and cut once.

Purchased this cable for new home theater room. I wished I would have purchased 14-2 vs. 16-2. No apparent issue with performance but it seems banana connectors designed for larger gauge wire.

This product is easy to use and reasonably priced compared to other speaker wire. I used this for my home theater system and the sound produced through my system is top quality.

I love these speaker wires. So easy to work with. Only regret is I didn't buy more. I'm adding four more speakers to build out a home theater, and I'm short some fifty feet. The price is now three times as much for half the amount of speaker wire.

Very nice wire, but pricey. However, you get what you pay for.

I did install this in wall cable through drywall. The audio is crystal clear. Surely recommend this cable if someone is looking to hide cables in wall.

Plan on having someone come out to run wires through the walls, but came across this speaker wire. And it blends in very well running along the baseboard. Doesn't look tacky like I though it would. It is kids on the pricey side but you gotta come to terms with paying a good price for a good product especially if you want your speakers to sound great

Super high quality in-wall application speaker wire. I wired my basement before it was completely finished, and the wire was very easy to work with. I used this to wire my rear speakers and atoms speakers.

I was directed by the Best Buy salesperson as to what I would need to run my speaker wire through out my newly built home, all going inside the walls. This is high quality and well insulated wire and there is no loss of signal or volume from the main receiver.

While this is not the cheapest speaker wiring I have ever used it is probably been the best. After having put all the wiring in the walls of a home theater and then close them up you hope everything will sound they way you expect. This wire has performed flawlessly with the equipment I used. Would easily use it again.
