It is the first remote that I have found to work on my parents old, off brand, TV. The larger size buttons are also easier for my father to see and use

Good feel in the hand, easy to see and use buttons, good for power, channels, volume, but not menu. I tried all four of the Vizio codes, more than once, but I could not access the Vizio menu. What does my 94 year old mom need menu for? To set the sleep timer. And the directions say the remote has been programed properly if MOST of the functions work. If you have an RCA, this is great. Maybe on others, but not Vizio.

The remote is easy to program. The keys are large enough for a 90 year old to read and press. However, the battery door will not stay in place. Any slight bump and the door falls off and the batteries fall out. Reprograming is necessary when the batteries fall out. I taped the door in place to cure this problem. It is not pretty but it works.

As a remote for an non- technical elder person, it design to cover a vas range of devices, It was purchased for a TV in an elderly person bed room. If it one of the other devices is selected it doesn't control the TV and is frustrating for the elderly user. Ideally Manufactures need to address this need and create a single device remotes.

Overall a pretty good universal remote, and for the price you cannot complain much about the initial set up which can take a while.

it was very easy to program and works great. only have an old zenith tv connected to it.

Great device for remote replacement, did not operate all functions needed for the device I purchased it for. Read the manual and it warned that it may not. Wish I knew that before purchase. Manufacturer should consider putting that on packaging so consumer will know if that is the remote for their needs. It worked for only two features for the device I needed.

I bought this universal remote so that I could control my Dynex TV, Cable and Dynex DVD Player all with one device. The TV and Cable were accepted with no problem, however the DVD Player is not linking up even with the codes provided. Still in the same boat as I was before I bought the new remote.

I needed one so I bought it. no problems with it. I would buy it again.

What most old people need is a remote with 5 buttons. On/off, Volume Up, Volume Down, Channel Up, Channel Down. This is way too complicated if you are not a teenager.

Poor quality. Spend more money and buy a remote that is easier to program and is durable.

I've used the appropriate code(s) to pair it with my television but it just does not work, at all. I have tried multiple times and have even had a couple of friends attempt to set it up as well but they didn't have any more luck than I did. Very frustrating and a total waste of money. I suppose I should just return it.

Did not work all functions even though my set was listed on the package, very time consuming setup, Best Buy did accept the return and refund the price.... which is why Best buy gets my business rather than the internet stores which had same item listed for less $$s

I followed the directions and could not get it to work. I do not recommend this at all. Waste of time and money.
