A must have connection device to match the August Lock.

The bridge for the August lock system works just fine.

Absolutely necessary to ho with the August locks so that they respond when you drive up. Opens automatically so when your hands are full. The door unlocks.

Works great. The August lock system is excellent. The fact that it fits over existing deadbolt is genius, allowing the outside to look completely normal and pretty, not a big messy keypad.

Good replacement with management company restrictions.

I can't find any real practical use for this peripheral... Really, it's only applicable to "just in case" type of moments. Furthermore, no matter where I place it in my home (even two feet from the August smart lock) it still tells me that it is unable to connect or has poor connection. August technical support is clueless as well; you'll end up relying on your own whits with whatever issue may occur. However, it still works majority of the time, despite these issues. Also, be prepared to change your August smart lock batteries more often if you have the auto-lock/unlock features active.

The bridge is required if you want to control the August lock (Gen 1&2) while not near the door. This way, you can control the lock from anywhere in the house and while away.

This box is used to make the lock work from a far distance. Sometimes I unluck my door remotely, after I leave a fast food store. This way I can run inside faster.

This works really well if you don’t have Apple TV gen4 + to connect via internet. The only issue I feel is that it disconnects a lot may be its my WiFi network need to check

I purchases the August Smart lock and I really liked the product and decided I "needed" to be able to monitor the lock from afar. Firstly, the lock was easier to install than this Wi-Fi bridge was to pair. After numerous tries, I finally got the bridge to pair and while the wifi strength is great and the bridge is located approximately 7 feet from the bridge I continuously get "unavailable" when attempting to check status online. When it works it is great, when it doesn't I feel like it's a gigantic waste of money.

First bridge I purchased didn't work at all. The second bridge has a Bluetooth range of 3-4 FEET!! It is only for a single lock. You can not have more than one lock on a bridge. Contacted support. They did say the Bluetooth range is very very short. So not worth the price for this item. I do not recommend it. The bridge dropped off wi fi once already and would not rejoin. The wi fi transmitter is 6 feet away!! Had to remove bridge from account and re add it. So dissatisfied with the bridge.

This device allow me to open the door automatically when I get to the house. No keys no waiting in the cold for someone to look for the key to open the door in the dark.

This allows you to put the lock on your home network so you can access the lock from anywhere you are to unlock your door for neighbors and guests and family

What an absolute piece of trash. This is one of the worst sw engineering efforts ever on this planet. Mine will not connect from android nor ios phones. Bybsome miracle 1/8 tries on the first day was able to connect. That lasted w whole 3 days. Then I came home to a solid red led. Meaning it is waiting in config mode. And the 20 or sob times I've tried, I cannot get it to successfully connect. Just watching this piece of stupidity go thru the connection sequence shows what a piece of garbage the unit is. It reboots at least 3 times, and each reboot seems to take longer. After 3 minutes of up and downs, different led patterns each time, it finally reboots with a red solid led and the app says my internet is not working.. But it's working will enough for me to write this review!! Junk!! I had been happy with the lock, but after seeing this engineering marvel, I refuse to have any product from these hacks in my possession, and will get rid of the lock as well. This should be very simple, no idea how they could have messed this up so poorly. Please don't believe the company sponsored success stories here, this could not possibly work reliably for anyone.

Work Great. Used it last nite when i lost my key and came home at 3:00 in the morning. I bought 2 more for my side door of my house and my garage door entry too

This will allow for complete monitoring of the August retro fit lock. We were hoping to not need another hub but for maximum function we decided to get the hub

Main reason I got this was to monitor if my door was open or close while I'm away and close it or open it from anywhere I am but it only seems to work when it wants to. The Schlage Sense worked better than this.

This is a must have if you own an August Lock. It enables you to access your lock over the internet through the app. You do need one per lock.

A must buy if you want to use Alexa to lock and open your door. You can also see the status of the lock from anywhere your at with your smart phone.

Bought this WiFi for our front door. We absolutely love it . Very convenient and satisfied with this product.
