    The adapter is supposed to allow you to connect remotely, but it is just about as buggy as the app itself. It does work to allow access about 60% of the time, but you must switch over to the WIFI mode in the app every time and allow a few minutes for it to access. Overall a waste money, wait until they resolve the issues with the lock. Look for my August Smart Lock review it is completely unbiased and you can verify reviews from tons of other unsatisfied customers.
